The food was good but overpriced. Still , it was good. My main issue is that at the end the restaurant didn’t split our bill. We hay two parties at our table of 5, 3 in one party and 2 in the other. But the restaurant only does one bill per table. That forced us to have to add each persons expenses , multiply by 3 and then estimate the taxes. Quite cumbersome for what should be an easy thing for the restaurant to do. They do that all over the world. This fact alone is a driver for me not to want to return. While the food was good, the difference in price and the bad service doesn’t justify a return visit.

We hadn't been back to the Tabernash Tavern for about two years because some of our affordable favourites had been removed from the menu (like the elk, boar, bison sliders), and the prices had shot way up without us seeing the value for money. Last night we tried them again and were pleasantly surprised by how interesting the menu was and how tasty each of our meals turned out to be. It's still pricey but you get what you pay for. Well done! We'll be back, because I saw at least three other things on the menu that I'd like to try.

The Tabernash Tavern is a special occasion location for us, and it never disappoints. The food is truly five-star. The menu always includes items that we are not accustomed to seeing elsewhere, and we love to try those new items. The wait staff is always helpful in directing you to those items that you will find most enjoyable.

We’ve heard SO many wonderful things about this place and they are over the top true. I haven’t had a meal of this caliber in a very long time, and Frank, our server, was friendly, knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. He’s a gem! We were honestly a little wary because of the price compared to other area restaurants, but it was our anniversary, so we made a reservation. Now, we can’t wait to go back! We truly recommend it!

Wonderful Tavern we have dined at before, away from the bussle of Winter Park. Hosstess got us a table, even though we were 45 minutes early. Our waiter tended to us supurbly. We ordered many dishes, and all were excellent. I was suprized at how affortable many choices were! It's an old west Tavern, with a casual fine dining flair.

As usual, the food was excellent. We started with the TT salad and French onion soup, followed by the lamb special and the salmon. The specialty Mezcal cocktails were good, slightly disappointed they were out of the bottle of wine we ordered but found a sufficient substitute. Staff is very friendly, sometimes overwhelmed with larger tables. I highly recommend Tabernash for a relaxing evening after skiing, hiking, biking, fishing or any mountain activity, especially for couples or parties of four.

Great food and decent ambiance - we did not order any appetizers, having heard how big the portions are - had the Risotto, Ribeye, Salmon and Veggie dish - all were great, and came out quite timely. The server was definitely short at times, and didn't seem happy that we only ordered entrees and drinks (still over a $250 bill) - so hopefully we will be lucky with a better server next time. Will definitely be back!
