Spent weekend in St Michaels with two college girlfriends. We did Brunch at t at the General Store. Loved getting off the more crowded Talbot Street as this place is about 2 miles out. Food was delicious. Best Bloody Mary I have every had. Fun and quaint atmosphere! Cannot wait to go back!!!
Food and service both excellent!!!
Great food and a nice variety of dishes. Cocktails are a good size too!
Innovative, creative farm to table food of the highest order. Very fresh and very well made... excellent food.
The shrimp Alfredo over fettuccine had plenty of fresh mushrooms, spinach and shrimp- really tasty. The scallops were prepared perfectly.
First time in. Didn't even know it was there for several years although my wife and I traveled the Eastern Shore area around Easton/St Michael's/Oxford for many years previously.
The food here is somewhat eclectic with limited Menu, as can be seen online, but what we both had (Shrimp and Grits) was outstanding! Great plate presentation with a large amount of creamy grits covered with 6 generous sized shrimp and a superb sauce ... simply delicious! The spinach salad my wife enjoyed was just right and I loved my bowl of tomato basil soup.
Our server Susan was very friendly and a one woman show that night, at least outside the kitchen. She also made me a delicious cocktail which lasted the entire meal.
We look forward to returning again and sampling the crabcakes meal which Susan was kind enough to quickly show us on the way to delivering them to another table. A memorable night and a wonderful new dining experience. Color us impressed.
Excellent food and service. The place is definitely a hidden gem.
Great Sunday brunch and the best Bloodys!
It was excellent !!!
Worth the quick 10 minute drive from St. Michael’s...made a reservation for two because there was no availability in town. Amazing food, cute spot, and great service! Crab cakes and sea scallops special were cooked perfectly. Will definitely go back.
Outstanding food, lovely decor and ambiance. We had Sunday brunch and truly enjoyed the attentive service along with a delicious meal. This is in our neighborhood and we look forward to coming back again.
Delicious food! Enjoyed the succotash and the fingerling potatoes especially. The Tom Collins was perfect and refreshing. Great Irish coffees, too!
Food was top notch. Excellent. Service was slow. Waitress was also hostess and bartender so go in knowing you’ll need to be patient.
The atmosphere is very friendly. Our waitress was there when needed, but didn’t hover. They offer a nice selection of teas, served in a unique individual teapot. Extra hot water was offered for a second pot.
Years going to this restaurant still baffles me as to why it is so utterly cold in winter months. Unbearably so......and the tiny heaters on the floor do absolutely nothing. Last time I will ever go in the winter again.
Our meal was very delicious. We will definitely be back!
Such a hidden gem in Royal Oak! Atmosphere is excellent and the menu did not disappoint.
Always good to eat here! My brother was here from California & we wanted oysters. However they were out of tarter sauce & horseradish! So disappointing! That’s like being out of oysters. No one thought to run to the store?
Nice meal. Nothing stood out as being very special but it was good.
Very pleasant surprise. Thoroughly enjoyed everything & the server & chef were very considerate to my dietary restrictions. My husband & I enjoyed several of the oyster dishes (soup, raw, Rockefeller)....and they were ALL wonderful. Ahi tuna was thoroughly enjoyed & perfectly prepared. The Caesar salad was crunchy & fresh but average in taste. The seared pork chop was stellar and our favorite dish of the night. Looking forward to going back on our next visit to the area.
Excellent food. Loved the French Toast and Applewood Bacon.
Good but not remarkable dinner. Adequate wine list. Uncomfortable seating. Ambiance is okay - lots of hard surfaces make it a bit cold and could be loud if a full house.
Always professional and courteous service. The staff is attentive and accommodating. The chef and the culinary team always offer exceptional cuisine and extraordinary presentation. The soups, salads, and appetizers are unique. The entrees are made with local farm raised meat and seasonal seafood, that results are delectable . The food is fresh and always in season. One of our favorite hidden gems!
We dined with out of town guests who thoroughly enjoyed the food and service. A lovely evening of excellent dining.
Excellent and knowledgeable server. Great menu. Delicious food. Portions very large.
My expectations were exceeded. I had the duck and absolutely loved everything about the plate. At the suggestion of our server (who was very sweet), I also tried the tea infused creme brûlée...mind BLOWN. I enjoyed every bite! The half priced bottle of wine night wasn’t too shabby either!
Pleasant off the beaten path . Enjoyed the look and feel of the restaurant. Probably a lot of history there that we missed out on.
We had the two specials and they were delicious!
Our party enjoyed the 3 course New Year’s Eve menu. Food was outstanding.
We went to the t at the General Store for New Years Eve! The other couple and us had a fabulous time. The food was incredibly delicious . We are still talking about how much we loved it and it’s two days after the event . They even let us have our favorite table! Everything about our evening out was wonderful !!! We highly recommend this restaurant.
We arrived at the T for an early New Years eve dinner. The staff was extremely courteous and service was outstanding. The arugala salad was delicious and served in a board. My lamb was cooked just the way I ordered and the key lime cheesecake was over the top!
Always consistently great service and food. The presentation is so appealing and artistically original. Our servers are professional and very courteous. The culinarily team creates flavors with natural and locally sourced ingredients that make each dish stupendous.
I love this restaurant!
We so want to love T at the General Store, but the food continues to be only fair. The location, ambience and service are all very good. 🤷🏻♂️
Very good food preparation with fresh ingredients. Consistent quality dishes of apps, salads, and main courses. And their specialty drinks are well above average. This is a local gem that is off the well traveled roads in the Easton/St Michaels restaurant marketplace. Definitely worth the trip!
Best restaurant on the eastern shore.
This restaurant was an unexpected find and truly wonderful. One of the best meals my companion and I have had in quite awhile. All the food was terrific and well done. We were particularly awed by the oyster stew, and asked the waitress if the chef might be willing to part with the recipe. She said she'd ask him and then returned with a hand=written recipe from the chef personally, including measurement! We were thrilled!
What a great way to start the Thanksgiving holiday! I love that oysters are back...the Rockefeller is to die for...either that or the oyster stew. Delish! Shout out to the fantastic signature cocktails. The earl greyhound, the professor and the big daddy james are all favorites. Be sure to check them out.
We have always liked this place. Haven’t been in a while, not sure if it was an off day or if it has changed. Our server was forgetful and disinterested. It was brunch and only 3 tables so it was not busy. We had the eggs benedict. Eggs were undercooked and the sauce was watery. Side of potatoes was good. The apple bread pudding was excellent, it saved the meal. Very expensive, $70 with tip for brunch with no alcohol, just a pot of tea. I hope it gets better but for an out of the way place they need to step up their game as it takes effort to get there.
