    Often in tourist towns you only find restaurants that cater to average expectations. Switchback Grille isn’t one of those. The food was not just delicious but the preparation and presentation indicated a serious chef with a focus on quality. I started with the Apple wood bacon wrapped scallops. The scallops were very tender as was the bacon. They were accompanied with tasty crème stuffed mushrooms. My main entree was the half chicken. Again tender with a crispy, well-seasoned skin. I sat at the bar and was well served by the bartender, Joseph. The pacing of my dishes were perfect, not too fast nor too slow. I could sit and relax to enjoy my meal and the nicely designed space. There is also seating which offers great views of the towering sandstone cliffs. After a fun time at Zion this is great restaurant to cap off the day!

    We enjoyed all our entrees at the switchback grill. The halibut is a must, and 2 in our party also had the salmon which they loved. We sat by the window which has a beautiful view of the mountains. Yes, it was pricey but pretty standard for this kind of restaurant. Tip: buy your own wine next door and pay the $20 corkage. You will have better wine at a much better price.

    We were celebrating my husband’s 65th birthday after a day of hiking. We had the pan roasted Scottish salmon and stuffed mountain trout along with a side of their cooked mushrooms. We had wine before dinner as well. The food was fabulous, our server was spot on and attentive, and we had a good dinner. We just picked this restaurant based on reviews and was definitely worth the time. We highly recommend it and would like to come back when we come back Zion to hike.

    Steaks were perfectly done. Spinach and grape salad was was wonderful. Overall a little overpriced, but not unexpected for only fine dining in a tourist town.

    The restaurant was very nice inside and not too loud. We were celebrating our anniversary and like a quiet more romantic atmosphere. The complaint we had was when you are at a high end restaurant and you spend $100 per person you expect great service. We had to ask twice for steak sauce, we ordered desserts and coffee. We never received our coffees. It wasn’t on our bill which was good but the service was subpar.

    Somewhat pricy but other than that very good. One disturbing issue was a $9 charge for “BREAD SERVICE”! We passed on that, although the waiter described breads and dipping sauces sounded very appetizing. Would go back if ever in the area again, which is doubtful!

    The meal, service & ambience was excellent. Entrees were salmon (fabulous) & meatloaf (good, but unusual combo of meat, this made for an unexpected taste). Caesar salad was perfect, and the clam chowder outstanding.

    We have been here before and keep coming back for the great food, atmosphere, and service! Highly recommend coming here if you are looking for fine dining with a casual dress code or if you want to get dressed up for the evening, this is the place. We live in Hurricane and love to come here for special occasions.

    Absolutely a delicious meal at Switchback. The decor is beautiful and the views are stunning. The restaurant was across from our hotel which was a bonus. Recommend the bread assortment appetizer along with the calamari and the carpaccio. All our meals were delicious. I had that chicken parmesan which was delicious. Another in our party had the lasagna and also enjoyed the meal. Our server was attentive the whole time we dined.

    We were ripped off ordering the meal of the day. 87 USD for a rack of lamb in this place is outrageous. The food was on top of this "ok". The fish of one of the guests - albeit supposed to be non frozen was clearly frozen and very dry

    I had the ribeye steak. It was just a ribeye, nothing else. The menu has no prices for their meat dishes. The salad was $15.00. Walmart sells a better salad for less than $4.00. The steak was pretty good until I found out it was $85.00. I recommend you go elsewhere and get a real meal with sides and save a ton of money. The staff was good.

    Don’t spend your money here! The service was fine and our waiter was friendly, but the price is outrageous! And the food is mediocre at best! Go somewhere else.

    We shared the beet salad as well as the meatloaf. Just right sizes for the two of us - but we don't eat a lot. The house white was lovely - and the wine list overall isn't bad. Our server was Amber - simply wonderful. We were able to say hello to Ben - our other favorite server. It's a lovely space - and it was nice to go here again. We live in the area - so it was nice to book here again!

    We were seated outside. Two out of three meals were overcooked. Filet was medium instead of medium rare - Tuna was medium instead of rare. Tuna was replaced. Service was attentive but the kitchen was off

    Very tasty food. I enjoyed the trout and my husband enjoyed the salmon. Extensive wine list. Our red wine arrived just a bit too chilled, we had to let it warm up to really appreciate it. (Don’t judge me, we enjoy red wine with our fish!) Quite pricey but we are on vacation and deserved the splurge! Yelp said they are closed on Sunday. Not true, it is the gift shop that is closed not the restaurant.
