From the moment we entered we were engaged by the staff and they knew it was our anniversary from the online notes. They (Cara and Emily) were very personable, friendly and on top of everything. The food was great; Filet Minion with Bernaise, though I didn't care for the steak with the Bernaise so ate it without; my husband had the Sirloin with Bourbon Caramelized Onions. We shared an amazing Cremé Bruelé for Dessert. I also decided to try a Butter Toffee Martini, which is my new favorite drink now!! Definitely worth a trip back!!

Food was pretty good, prices are a little over what I feel was fair for the quality, but great overall still. Quiet and pretty.

Overall it was fine. High notes: the ambience was very calming with the beautiful fireplace, and the food wasn't bad. Lows: the massive amount of ice in my old fashioned, and the spatzel was cold and dry. The prices were rather high for what you got. 75% of the items on the menu are >$35.

This was the second time we ate here, just like the first time the food was great, a small but great variety of entrees and an excellent fondue. You get what you pay for and more. Wether you want a small table for 2 or 8, I can only recommend the Swiss Chalet.

My overall evaluation is very good. The service was outstanding, especially since the server was the only one there attending to all the tables. My dessert was wonderful, but the Salmon was a little dry and had very little reduction to help with moisture.

Always awesome food. We went for our Thanksgiving meal. Very reasonable price and we have never had a bad experience. You can actually hear yourself talk without having to shout. We always go for special occasions. Service is always top notch. We'll worth the drive up to Woodland Park

Always great ambience and service. Food seems to be a hit or miss affair. The Thai Chicken soup tasted very good but I wouldn’t say that it was ‘Thai’ in its flavor profile. Prime Rib was excellent but no horseradish or au jus- just sour cream. Grilled Ribeye was undercooked and considerably under seasoned with the caramelized bourbon onions also under seasoned. The smashed potatoes and asparagus were perfectly cooked and seasoned.

The staff was very welcoming and friendly. We were celebrating my husband's birthday and it did not disappoint. I had the pork chop which was done perfectly. My husband had the rack of lamb served with a blackberry sauce. He said it was one of the best dishes he has had since we moved back to Colorado. The chocolate torte and crème brulee were the perfect way to end the meal. Overall a wonderful delicious meal in a cozy welcoming atmosphere.

Beer cheese soup and salad (champagne dressing) were perfect as was the filet. Rack of lamb was tasty as was the blackberry Demi glacé but the serving size was no more than about three edible ounces. The potatoes au gratin were the best I’ve ever had. The St Julia Malbec paired nicely with the meat.

They forgot to bring out the smoked salmon appetizer, otherwise service would have been 5stars.

It had been several years since I had been to Swiss chalet. A friend and I went there for lunch, and I was a bit disappointed. We ordered hot tea to warm up and it was tepid at best. Sitting by the fire was lovely. The meal itself was good, but not spectacular. The service, however, was great. The potato salad that accompanied our brats needed more flavor.

The hardest part is deciding what to order. My favorites - fried avocados, Norwegian smoked salmon, Thai chicken curry soup (soup of the day), the lamb chops with a blackberry glaze, almond crusted salmon, and finish with the swiss crepe or gluten free chocolate torte.

Expected some Swiss/German music... not a deal breaker.
We arrived at 5pm so it was a little chilly for my mother in the restaurant.
However, food was great, service great and atmosphere very pleasing. We will return.

We were very disappointed when we heard that they ran out of the salmon. I was really looking forward to it, and due to dietary restrictions, none of the meat meals were options for me. That left me with either the overprices sea bass or the pasta. I chose the pasts, which tasted very good, but was not salmon. Although the bowl was very hot when served, the pasts was only luke-warm.
