Very attentive staff, food was nice but maybe too similar in flavour between side dishes and main. However would recommend you try.

First time at Swadesh with a big group. Food top notch as ever, and we were looked after really well. My favourite neighbourhood curry house by far.

Another fantastic dinner at Swadesh. The best neighbourhood Indian restaurant in East Dulwich. Nice to be there on a Saturday night with a few more people and a bit more atmosphere.

Love Swadesh, it's essentially a standard Indian restaurant, one of about 20 on Lordship Lane, but food is excellent, with the curries delicately seasoned so you can taste the full range of flavours. Service is good, portions are enormous and prices are reasonable, so all in all an excellent venue

Fantastic. Went along to Swadesh for a Xmas Curry for Two! Staff were welcoming and helpful as ever. Still the same amazing chef. This time he rustled up me a Naga Sauce, lovely. Detoxing in Feb so promised myself I'd be back in Jan. Hopefully more than once!

Swadesh, East Dulwich was great for low key, good value indian food. I think it probably suffers from being a bit far along Lordship Lane - there were only two other groups in there, and it was prime time on Saturday night.

Swadesh never fails to deliver and last night was no exception. The new menu was well received. We tried the stuffed green peppers to start as a refreshing veggie option. The chef special chicken was delicious. Swadesh definitely stands out from all the other Indian restaurants on Lordship Lane. We will be back soon.

Lovely meal at Swadesh in East Dulwich. Excellent mixed starter, and tasty veg thali and murgh makhani, all at reasonable prices.
