I made a reservation at Suzy Wongs for my sister-in laws bachelorette party, thought it would be something fun to do to end the weekend and the Drag queens were fantastic which is why overall I gave 2 stars. My expectations were not high for food since its not the typical brunch spot, we were all ok with that because we were excited for the performances, but this was ridiculous. I spent $18 on 4, 4" pancakes with some apples thrown on top. They were cold when they came out and had syrup that mostly tasted like water. Our server, while very friendly and nice brought us room temperature water just once when we got there and 2 girls did not receive their food for 25 minutes after the rest of the party already received theirs. The only reason they got their food at all was because I found our server, who we hadn't seen her since the first groups food was sent to the table. The manager made excuses for the food not coming out and only comped their food when we asked. Overall the experience and performances were not worth the price or the food. Go for a mimosa and the performances if you want the experience, but do not waste your money on the food.
The energetic feel of Suzy Wongs is unmatched! I came here with a group of 5 ladies from Chicago. We loved every second of it. We all really enjoyed our food! The breakfast burrito was everything I hoped it would be. Balanced flavor & just the right size! I wish I could have taken it home! The side of potatoes was very flavorful. The dishes complimented each other perfectly. The scrambled eggrolls were AMAZING as well! The show was very entertaining! Perfect for a girls trip brunch. I do wish the restaurant was more open, as when the dancer moved to the other side of the room, you could not see them. I also wish we knew ahead of time to bring singles to tip the dancers. All in all, the service was great, food incredible, & YAAAS QUEEN the dancers were on point.
Came for a bachelorette brunch-so much fun. Such an interactive show and the food was surprisingly pretty fantastic!
We went for drag brunch. There needs to be video of performances and more performers. The food was good and service was fine.
Went for a birthday and they had the table for 4 instead of 5, which may have been an issue with opentable-I changed it 48 hours beforeour time. There were 2 performers the day we were there but still only had one show during our meal, and they did not engage the customers.
I’ve been to Suzy Wong’s numerous times & have even celebrated my birthday on their patio. I’ve never had terrible service there, so this latest experience is an anomaly. We waited 20 minutes for a table that had been reserved. Then we waited another 20 minutes to be greeted by a server. We only saw her once more before getting our checks. It obviously didn’t matter to any other staff because no one ever came to check on us despite us waiting with menus for so long.
Drag brunch is an amazing concept that I love but the Nashville crowd is mostly bachelorette parties these days. With a steady stream of 20-something white girls to cater to, maybe the place doesn’t feel the need to meet certain standards? Unless I’m entertaining out-of-town guests who REALLY want to experience it, I’d rather go somewhere else for brunch.
The experience was amazing. The food and the service was amazing as well. I would highly recommend this to anyone! Can not wait until my next visit.
So much fun! We went for a boozy brunch and shared 5 plates between 4 people and all of the food was fabulous! The Queens were awesome and so sweet. The atmosphere was perfect. For a place with so much going on, no one particular element was overpowering or lacking. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!
We had a few friends visiting and went to Suzy Wong's for dinner to get the night started. We had a wonderful time. The food was good and it's a great atmosphere with the drag show every 30 minutes. The cocktails were wonderful and we all left in a great mood and with full bellies. The Orange Chicken and Honey Walnut Shrimp were both standouts of the meal.
The overall experience was great; however, our waiter was not very friendly and made a rude comment about having to go back and forth to the bar for our drinks. One of the other waiters was extremely friendly when clearing off our table. Would definitely go back.
Got my husband to take me for brunch on our night out. He was definitely outnumbered but he actually enjoyed it too
I took my daughter and we had an amazing time. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, the show was phenomenal, and our bushwhackers were the best.
OMG! So much fun!!! Food and drinks were pretty good! But the show was the best part.
The FOOD!!!! Food was great, and the overall fell was great, we loved every minute of our visit there.
The food was fair , could have gotten better food at Panda express. The noise level was off the charts. At best it was hard to hear anything the person across the table was saying.
The food was very good. The drinks were so good and the service was on point. I loved the place.
Reservations were pointless. We go into more detail via Yelp
What a way to end Pride weekend!!! Our first visit, but definitely not our last!!
Here for the performance and it didn’t disappoint!
Excellent food, friendly staff and phenomenal entertainment
Took my husband and our 3 year old there for a fun Father’s Day brunch. Had a fantastic time! Would highly recommend!
We went here for the drag queen brunch. Totally suggest it for girls night out / bachelorette. THe food is so so but the show is amazing! If you are looking for something fun to do on Sunday, this is it!
Great place! Never disappoints! Food is good and the entertainment is awesome.
Loveee this place! Great entertainment! Great drinks and the food was awesome too! The show was amazing and Suzy was very FABULOUS && friendly! Will definitely recommend and be back soon!!
We had a truly fabulous time: food and drinks were great and the show was very well done!
Twas amazing, go! I’ve never had a minimum character length, so here’s additional fluff.
This was a terrible experience! We were greeted rudely upon entering the restaurant at what the host deemed early even hough it was at the exact time of our reservation. Even though we were the first patrons in the restaurant we were given the worst seat in the house! My friends and I could not see performers for more than a few minutes as we were seated around the corner and behind a wall. The performers would walk out for a minute and then go back to the main dining room. It was lip singing only and poorly done. Worst drag show! Food was the best part and that was only fair.
Thanks for a great pre-show and dinner. We enjoyed the drag show thoroughly and our service was the best it has ever been!
Fantastic experience! The food was amazing but more importantly the entertainment is something you don’t want to miss. We went for the drag n’ brunch and I will be back ASAP!
We were at Suzy's with a bachelorette party and it was so much fun! The atmosphere was great and the food was delicious!
Unfortunately, our server didn’t notice us at our table for the first 35-45 min of our dining experience; not even to come fill our water glasses. Eventually, one of the servers (who was helping at another table) noticed this, apologized, and sought out our server (who then brought us water).
Otherwise, the food was fantastic and we enjoyed the experience. However, it was unfortunate that the meal started as such.
We went for a bachelorette party brunch. There are a few rooms here. The main dining room has some lights and is where most of the show seems to happen. However, we were seated in one of the other rooms and the show only comes into the rooms occasionally, so when it wasn't going on it kind of just felt like we were in a rec room with big tables. There were quite a few breaks in the show as well with just music playing. Would have loved if it was on more.
Excellent food and drag show was amazing.
Would not go back, big disappointment in food. Chicken dish tasted like it was reheated in microwave no sauce, just pieces sitting on top of dry rice. Sushi was almost all rice no filling.
Drag brunch is always such a fun time!
Always amazing. When I’m in town it’s a must stop!
The show was a lot of fun. The food was not great. I got the chicken fried rice and had part of a bone in one of the pieces of chicken. Our server was really nice but so slow with getting our drinks and ticket. We ordered a bloody Mary and it took a really long time to get them and when we got it it was super watered down like they had been sitting for a while before they were brought to us.
Food was fantastic and entertainment was fabulous!
We had such a blast here! Great food and the drag n’ dinner was fun!
Great food and amazing service! The coconut mojito tasted like summer in a glass.
