I know folks seem to like this place, but I only thought it was ok. The servers were very nice. The ambiance was ok, it's not super fancy, but it is modern. Better for larger groups as it gets loud. As for the food, that's where I think it fell the most for me. I actually really liked my sea bass, except there was too much miso sauce on it. I actually had to scrape off the sauce. The fish itself was nice and so were the veggies. My husband got sashimi. He said it tasted fresh. Kinda pricey though for six pieces of fish. The starter was tempura shrimp, which I did like. It came on a bed of greens, which made for an unexpected salad. We also had the tempura shrimp roll. This is where it fell hard. No bueno. Most japanese places I've gone to add a little something in the roll. This was literally a tempura shrimp wrapped in seaweed and rice. Ok, but fine, that's how they make it. What was bad was actually the rice. It was borderline grocery store sushi rice; weirdly sticky like glue. For a sushi place, this was terrible. Overall, the place was just "meh", especially when there are so many other great options in Vegas.
Great place in the Pallazzo. Food was outstanding, service even better.
Service was great, happy hour deals awesome. We had a great meal.
Omg! So good! We were a party of 4 needing "dinner" at 1am on Sunday after a long day of walking and Vegas shows. Carmine was our waiter, and he made honest suggestions on drinks and food items. We ordered the filet mignon, duck breast, Acevichado, Samba Strip, grilled squid, and miso soup. All were beautifully plated AND tasted amazing! The servings are like ordering tapas (aka small) so be prepared to order multiples of items if you've come hungry, which is what we did. Music was great as was the video montage of the three cultures represented through the menu: Peruvian, Brazilian, and Japanese. Want to go back already!
Absolutely loved this place. Best meal we had in Vegas! Went with a group of 6 people. 2 decided to order the chef selection and I really wish I would have too. I sampled a lot of their food and it was all excellent. Great sushi too. Overall fantastic experience.
The food here was great. Service was excellent. The sushi was good but not fantastic.
Carmine was very helpful and knowledgeable. He made the choices for meals easy and made sure the entire table's needs were addressed. Your server will be the best resource for making your time here delicious.
Japanese cuisine meets Peruvian/Brazilian cuisine. A lesson in history and an awesomely delectable one in the fusion of culinary worlds. My family all enjoyed our meals starting with traditional Tiradito prepared yellow fin to the crispy pork belly Robata dish with a side of Peruvian corn and ending with a sublimely scintillating banana cake. Everything was tip-top!
Carmine did an excellent job!
Fantastic dining experience. Gave the waiter carte blanche to bring the best dishes and drinks. We were not disappointed. Each dish was more amazing than the next.
Great service! Our waiter made educated recommendations that helped to lead us to excellent selections. Best dish was the Samba strip.
food was really exceptional! I would definitely come back
Once again, the experience was incredible!
Server lost the food ticket. Pretty average experience all round the food is good though - make sure you book in front of restaurant as the back has no atmosphere
No estuvo a la altura de las espectativas. La comida no era rica.
Always a great meal! The sushi was so fresh and full of flavor. Our server was amazing and knowledgeable about gluten options. Not the quietest place and the tables are tight together but the food and specialty cocktails are worth it.
Great food with lots of options and the service is always fantastic
Overpriced for small portions. (I don’t need 50 characters to describe this place)
Great food. Great service, enjoyed all of it. Sushi and the hot rock wagyu beef was amazing.
Our server was efficient and checked on us occasionally to make sure we were served and moving along with our menu selections.
Best Japanese food I’ve ever had in America and I’ve been to Japan...
The front desk hostess Eliana (?) was rude and not welcoming. Made my girlfriend and I sit at the bar for a dress code that every other lady there looked the same. She was targeting us.
Small amount of food, and a very LARGE BILL.
Sushi Samba is MY ALL TIME FAVORITE RESTAURANT!!!! I tell everyone about this place. Hamachi Tacos are FABULOUS 😍
I go every single time I’m in Vegas👏👏👏
My favorite restaurant in Vegas. Sea bass is incredible
This was our favorite meal in 4 days in Las Vegas. I especially enjoyed the gyoza. Had a single roll that was also quite good as was the tuna appetizer. Overall, really great.
3rd visit here but about 1.5 years between visits. Was happy to be back but enthusiasm dampened with my server whose arrogance and lack of customer service floored me.
He asked if we had dined before. We said yes. When I later asked for his guidance on the menu he literally said : "I thought you said you'd dined here before??".
Point taken. We will fin for ourselves. Sorry to have disturbed you.
Simply Amazing! We had the tasting menu and it was incredible!
Very attentive staff.
Delicious ! Beautiful spice balance!
Loved the food and everything about Sushisamba but it was far TOO LOUD! Fix that with sound baffles.
Food is small. Not a place to go if you are starving unless you have a big pocketbook..
Food was great but service was fairly poor the night we were there.
food was good, service was excellent, not a good place for conversation
Very small rolls, not worth the price. Tonkatsu ramen was pretty good. Beautiful decor and ambiance. Servers were very polite.
Just was okay. Not worth the money spent. Two of my family members didn't like the food at all.
The sushi doesn't tastes like a sushi. It's like a sticky rice and doesn't have any flavor. The fishes were good. But the vegetables were like dipped in the oil rather than being roasted
It was my husband’s birthday lunch. Service was awesome and the food was absolutely amazing.
The timing of the food delivery was off. We were told that food would be delivered as ready (which is typical when ordering sushi and other cooked dishes) but my friend’s steak hadn’t been served even after the rest of the table had finished all other dishes. He complained and it was taken off the check which was appreciated. I didn’t find the sushi to be very good.
