   Chris, Jason and staff went over and beyond to accommodate our business lunch such as turning down the music and air conditioning, to sitting us in the fireside room for privacy. Jason was an incredible server. He was polite, attentive and kind. He went over and beyond to prove us with the best service & experience. I came in from out of town to have this meeting and I was so impressed by the restaurant, the food and service we received.

   It was an amazing experience!!! The food was great!!! The waitress was so friendly!! The piano playing was so nice and relaxing!! The overall experience was perfect!!!

   The service is always excellent and the food never disappoints. The only letdown - but a big one - is the recent changes in the menu. We miss the calamari, oysters, crab claws (which have been gone longer than just this year), asparagus tempura and onion rings. Without the calamari, oysters and crab claws, there really isn’t a good shareable appetizer anymore. Those were three standouts. I appreciate seasonal changes to a menu, but the calamari and oysters were beloved favorites. Side note on the presentation of the shrimp and grits - the flavor is still great, but the presentation is lacking. It used to be beautiful, served in a shallow bowl with noticeable andouille pieces in it and shrimp around the perimeter of the bowl. It’s now just in a cereal type bowl, no andouille that you can see and shrimp already on top. You expect better presentation from a Steakhouse restaurant. All that said, it’s still a favorite and we’ll be back even though we know they can step it up a bit because they’ve done it so well in the past.

   My reservation was for 2 people (I do not know why a party of 3 is showing as my reservation). I thought sitting on the patio on this beautiful day for Sunday brunch would be nice, but the piano music and singing was SO LOUD that there would have been no way for my friend and me to have a conversation. Therefore, we sat inside. The food was just okay. I had eggs benedict, which I have enjoyed here previously, but the hollandaise sauce seemed more like gravy. It was not the usual yellow color. My friend's food was not what she had ordered, so we had to wait for the correct item. What we definitely did not like was that I was only halfway through my meal but she was finished; her plate was cleared while I was eating. Anyone who knows about dining etiquette knows that all plates should be left on the table until everyone is finished. I hadn't seen my friend in more than 6 weeks or else I would have asked my server to bring me eggs benedict with hollandaise sauce or for him to make sure their new recipe was supposed to be light tan. Neither my friend nor I will return for brunch to Superior Steakhouse.

   Food and service was great. Music was a little on the loud side but not to much. I highly recommend.

    Too expensive. Garnish would be nice rather than a steak on a plain plate.
