   Ate there to celebrate Mother’s Day. Unfortunately it was cloudy and we didn’t get to enjoy the view & seeing the sun going down as much as were hoping. Food was very good. Shared a NY Strip steak, whipped potatoes, Brussels sprouts and chocolate crème brûlée. Plenty of food for the two of us. All gluten-free dishes are clearly marked and was served gf rolls prior to dinner. Tab was around $170 with tip. Food was delicious, although sprouts were a little over seasoned, in our humble opinion. Waitperson was quirky but attentive.

   We came for drinks and dessert and our server Cody - was super fun, friendly, and ready to serve. I even left my glasses and he saved them for when I came back. Talking about going First! Appreciate him. Would come again.

   Their reputation was 100% accurate in our experience on Mother’s Day! Their house made Bloody Mary mix was the best Bloody I’ve ever had. My salmon salad was absolutely delicious. The scenery was spectacular, breathtaking. I’m so grateful for being able to enjoy a special holiday with the lovely staff at the Sunset Terrace. A bucket list item for sure!

   Perfect scenery. It’s early May, cloudy, and they turned on the heaters for us without being asked. Perfect. Delish food!

   Well... Where do I begin? Excellent service and the view was amazing! We chose the wrong time of day as we were seated in direct hot sun, could barely see each other from squinting and were very uncomfortably hot, low-key sweating, and it wasn't until the very end of our meal that we actually got water with ICE which was very refreshing! We ordered the chilled shellfish platter, and it was nothing but frozen sub par seafood... our biggest disappointment in our meal. Now the cesar salad was AMAZING! Hands down the best I've ever had! Our main entrees (NY Strip and Ribeye) were served; one was cooked perfectly and paired with yummy chimichurri sauce, but the other was still mooing when arrived and unfortunately had to send it back. The second time around it was much better, but honestly not the best steak I've ever had and I had high hopes... thinking I would get something with a lot of WOW factor just based on location and price... NOPE! The brussel sprouts side... DELISH! The parmesan truffle fries... EH! We were celebrating my daughter's graduation and they brought a little special sweet treat out to her and that was so thoughtful and appreciated. The strawberry hibiscus cheesecake was good, but again, no WOW! This was apparently prom weekend and they were crawling with people, which really did not take away from the ambience of the stunning mountain views. This was definitely a one and done visit. Definitely not worth the price tag, but will be something memorable for my daughter's special day!
