Not great, not terrible. Average at best. Not the greatest value but you know that going in ahead of time. Up front they also tell you about the mandatory 20% tip. It's ok since it's known up front, but the service doesn't really warrant a 20% tip. Good for the kids, thet had fun at least.

We are not from Rosemont. We had a dance competition and then went here for Mother’s Day. Parking was a hassle and added another $15. The service was fine. The food is mediocre. We thought our kids would really enjoy it, but they weren’t thrilled with the food…even with all the sugar.

We went here to celebrate Mother’s Day. The server seemed annoyed to be at work today and barely checked on us. Our rainbow pancakes were literally frozen. I told the server and she said nothing. However, she did send the manager over. He checked that they were actually frozen and did take it off our bill. All but one of the adults food came first and the other adult and kids food came 10 minutes after. We all sat there with food that we couldn’t eat because we were waiting for our whole tables order to be complete. I had the salmon which was very dry. The only good thing here is the drinks. If I ever go back, it will only be for drinks. Very disappointing service and experience for a special holiday. Found out why the server didn’t care when I realized 20% gratuity was automatically included. They had nothing to give good service for. They knew they were getting full gratuity no matter how much they didn’t care to be there.

Possibly the worst quesadilla I’ve ever had. Very little cheese, no ingredients at all for the last 1” of the tortilla ( the outside edge), no toppings like salsa or sour cream or guacamole unless you paid extra. Took about 20 minutes before we got someone’s attention to find out if we had a server. She was pleasant but not very familiar with their ordering tablet but she got it all correct. Super noisy for kid’s birthday parties. Felt like mayhem. And the prices were very high for what we got. We won’t be going back. We mentioned we had a birthday but there was no follow up to that comment.

It was just okay. There is no hospitality whatsoever here. The ladies when you enter don’t say hi or acknowledge you. There were no thanks you’s. The waiter was just okay as well. Took 20 minutes before our order was taken. We went at 330 so it wasn’t even that busy. For the price I expected a friendly atmosphere and great hospitality.

I’ve been to the sugar factory before, but this was the first time I have had their food. I got the breakfast burger and it was so good!! The service was fast and friendly. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten an entree served so quickly before.

There is an automatic 20% service charge, which may be the reason why the wait staff doesn’t care much. Our waitress spoke really fast and didn’t wait to really have any conversation. The desserts are super decadent and amazing great birthday celebration spot.

We had a reservation, thought we would get a booth but were seated at a table. I asked about a booth as it was 11:40 a.m. on Saturday and not busy but they said those were reserved for large groups (even though some of the booths looked like they could only seat 4 to 6 people). Unfortunately the brunch food was not good. The omelet had no taste, potatoes were under salted, and toast had no butter or jam on them and we weren't offered any. We asked for salt and pepper--one of the shakers was dirty and nothing poured out. We had indicated that it was for a birthday on the reservation, but no one made any mention of it. Our son loved his grilled cheese and the milkshake though. I would say eat elsewhere and come here for dessert.

Everything on the menu is sized and priced to share (a grilled ham and cheese sandwich with fries was $21) so it’s a bit limiting if others in your party don’t share your same taste, otherwise a LOT of food will go to waste if you order individual meals or desserts. I wish they had smaller more affordable options, including the drinks which were $35 or more for the fun cocktails (which does not include the souvenir goblet that is $10 extra). There was a fixed 20% service charge so our waitress really had no incentive to provide excellent service. On the plus side, we had reservations and our table was immediately available when we arrived, and it’s a fun environment with creative combinations of food and drink so it’s a good place for infrequent special celebrations or special events.

The food and service was great but the non-alcoholic goblets are overpriced at over $30.00. There were a lot of children there and there is not a children's menu so unless your kids like chicken tenders or mac & cheese from the appetizer section, you are paying for a full sized adult entrée for your kids. The place was clean, employees were nice, food was great... but fix the water pressure in the bathrooms so people can wash their hands in under 5 minutes please.

Waiter was amazing drinks were fun , food was ok and atmosphere made everything magical I do have to say those ladies working the candy area had no clue what they were doing even how to ring me up I placed 5 small smarties in the counter and was told it would be $26 lol she was dead serious !! Obviously this was wrung up wrong but she insisted it was correct so at that point we put all our other stuff back because I realized they just didn’t know what was going on and we went to 5 below and got candy 🍭 🤗 the upsetting part is she could care less that a sale was not made !

I took my family here for dinner over spring break. When we first walked in we were not greeted for almost ten minutes. When we were finally seated things were looking better. Everyone found something they would want from their extremely meat heavy menu. When the food finally came we were extremely underwhelmed by the food (drinks were great). My wife got the veggie burger- she did not like it I got the salmon- it was incredibly dry and unappetizing The kids got the rainbow burgers which passed an 8 year olds taste test and the 5 year old got the chicken tenders and hated them. Had the waiter asked how the food was we would have shared but they obviously did not care to know. Service was beyond mediocre. Overall, great drinks, mediocre service, terrible food, horrible prices. I don’t mind paying a price for great food… we paid a price and it wasn’t even good.

Way over priced for desserts, $21-23 for a shake. 4 shakes, one martini, and auto tip was $144.45, outrageous and we’ll never go back

My daughter had the Nutella and banana shake which didn’t really taste like Nutella, more like a chocolate and banana shake but still delicious. I had the vanilla shake which was pretty ordinary. My daughter had the rainbow sliders which were alright nothing special and I had the grilled cheese which was very basic and nothing better than I can make at home. Overall I don’t feel that Sugar Factory has a very exciting menu and the food tastes alright. It is absolutely not worth the value, extremely expensive and truly feels like I’m just paying for the name.

I would have preferred better seating. We were placed in the back by the wall where chairs were stacked and paint was chipped on the wall. My reservation was made in advance so I expected a better seating arrangement. I was also there for my daughter’s birthday.
