Customer service very nice the drinks very good I very was disappointed with the food quality the taste and the skimmy portion
Not worth the drive from Milwaukee. Burgers overpriced and average as far as taste. $60 tip was rediculous we only ate burgers and wings one milkshake rest of the table had water. Split into three bills eac ticket accompanied a $20 gratuity fee. Experience was way below average first time I ever seen a restaurant charge $300 for wings and burgers
A very cool experience to try once but was a little shocked with our bill for 2 adults and a toddler. Nothing special about the food. It’s definitely for the drinks. Service was great! I don’t think we would go back now that we’ve tried it and how pricey it was. Very nice staff though
Our server Ashley was terrible. We went there at 11am, before it was crowded (maybe 4 tables filled at best). She was extremely hard to track down...our appetizers came, we requested plates and they never showed up. We ended up having to go to the bar and ask for them ourselves. Then we decided to order our main entrees. 2 people ordered breakfast food which was supposed to come with syrup and both people ate both entrees before anyone came up to us to ask how everything was.
Food was good, but the service may be the reason we never come here again.
Made reservations and still had to wait 30 min, food and drinks were good. Everything just takes forever, food, drinks etc....
We had the best experience ever here. It was my daughters birthday and could not say anything negative about this place. It was busy with people waiting outside. Our food came really fast. A very enjoyable evening.
I really felt the experience was excellent!! Our server Danielle was great .. n we had a party of 13. Your food was actually quite delicious and had an awesome presentation. However, the prices for goblet drinks and delicious milkshakes is atrocious. That is my huge deterrent to returning. I think we enjoyed those the most ; but with 4 kids, plus a friend, each ordering a shake, it’s very unfortunate that you price those out of proportion to your food. I believe your food is reasonable for the amount and presentation; the drinks (goblets and shakes) are out of line.
Table was dirty and I seen several tables not wiped off when changing over. Menus were sticky and my drink gave me a sugar rush rather than a buzz from the supposedly 8 shots of alcohol in my drink.
The restaurant experience itself was wonderful. The Sugar Factory has an energetic vibe that's perfect for a birthday celebration, which is why my group went. It's a little pricey, but you're paying for more than food. It's an experience! My only complaint is their phone communication. While I made my reservation online, I had trouble changing it, so I had to call. I was on hold for 8 minutes before I gave up. Then I called again and was put on hold again for another 4 minutes and was then transferred to voicemail. When I called a third time, the person who answered was not friendly at all. She did not sound happy to help me change my reservation. Fine, you don't have to do cartwheels, but at least sound like you're annoyed that I'm wasting your time. I actually had to call again to change the reservation (again), and I had a similar experience. The person on the phone was very unfriendly and cold. Luckily when we got there, every worker was pleasant and welcoming and we ended up having a fabulous time.
I would definitely go to the Sugar Factory again for a special event or celebration!
My daughters 12th birthday what a fun experience for me and for the kids! The staff was very attentive and enthusiastic. We came for brunch and the food was good and the drinks over the top. I will add I had two type 1 diabetic kids with me and one celiac and although they do not have GF or sugar free menus, the staff we quite accommodating with the “special food” we brought in.
Fun for tweens, but overpriced for what you get. $26 for a non-alcoholic drink is crazy!
The food was not as great as I expected. The drinks are awesome and it’s definitely a fun place to go. But next time I would try just ordering appetizers.
Service was good. Food and drinks are too expensive for their value and not worth it. The $30 drink with alcohol taste like syrup and water. I would not recommend it. There’s nothing special about their food menu. I wanted to try the drinks and was highly disappointed.
Restaurant is very nice, however food and drinks are horrible and overpriced. This was my second and last time there.
Everything was pretty bad. Food tastes like rubber. Service was inadequate. Even though we went on a Wednesday night, it was pretty busy and from the second we walked in, we were treated poorly by the hostess, waitress and bussing staff. The hostess took several other parties when we arrived first and could clearly hear that their reservations were after ours. We made a 7:30 reservation for 8 and were not seated until 8:00. The waitress was rude and unfriendly, not once after she took our orders and brought our food did she come and see if we needed anything, but I believe that was because literally 10 minutes after we got our food and drinks, the bussers came to our table and started asking if we were done and would try and grab any they thought looked "empty enough", even after being told not to take them. Overall, it had decent atmosphere, however, I will not be going to The Sugar Factory again.
It was great and all my guests had a great time and I would come again and recommend anyone else to try this place. Very accommodating
A little on the pricey side, but our daughter had a great birthday. They even put the cake topper we brought in our sundae we ordered.
It was a GREAT Birthday experience for my bestfriend!! Loved the atmosphere, drinks, and service!!! We had a fun night with tasty drinks!!
The food wa subpar and came out quick. The service was decent though but too loud and too much going on won’t be returning
We took our daughter here for her 12th birthday. Upon being sat we were told that since we were a party of 5 we would have an automatic gratutity of 20% added to our check. If it were an ordinary day at this point we would have probably gotten up and left. I was a server and I am always very generous with tipping if the server is deserving. Well this encounter is a prime example of why this automatic gratuity is a HORRIBLE idea. Our server had our table, another table of 4, and a very large party of around 12 people. Well obviously she was tied up with the large demanding party so we barely saw her. It took her 22 minutes to even visit our table the first time. She then proceeded to upsell things (would you like fries with your chicken tenders? Fries are an additional $5!!! Would you like a sparkler for your daughter on her $18 dessert? The sparkler was also $5 and no one even sang to her, we had to do it). Needless to say with her upselling we managed to pay $28 for crappy service. We will never come back. It was a truly disappointing experience. Even the food was mediocre and the whipped cream was not real fresh whipped cream, it was greasy oily cool whip type garbage that even after 40 minutes (when we were waiting for a to go box for some of our leftovers) it didn't melt one bit. For an $18 dessert I would have expected it to be top quality ingredients.
The food was mostly great, but the 60oz drinks we ordered were grossly overpriced. We enjoyed the experience but won’t likely return unless we join a group of friends.
Nahh they was gone charge us a 20% fee if my 1 year old brother ate! They were watching us so we just decide to get a drink and leave. The drink was $27 i wouldn’t recommend this place it’s overpriced!! The workers are rude!
Despite having a reservation for 830pm, we waited close to 30 minutes in a very crowded, very small area. Once seated, we waited another 30+ minutes for some water and our server to appear.
The music was SO LOUD, we couldn't even talk across the table.
No cocktail prices were listed so I hesitated to order one. I allowed my daughter to order a non-alcoholic specialty drink (as we were celebrating her Sweet 16) and I was appalled that one drink cost $26.95.
Food was fine, but quality was thecsame as if I'd gone to any low-level chain restaurant.
Our server spent roughly 5 minutes at our table.....I wanted to order something special for dessert but by the time she returned, she already had the check and we were no longer interested in staying any longer.
Great experience and fun! Employees were all very helpful and quick to respond to questions despite being slammed
We did not have reservations, they went out if their way to get us seated fast. A really fun place to be
Presentation of expensive, signature drinks was unremarkable. The restaurant was very noisy. The food was okay. We weren’t offered plates for our appetizers.
Underwhelming for the cost.
Place didn’t live up to hype. Basic sundae lacked whip cream. They used cool whip instead. Very little hot fudge. Ice cream was poor quality.
The + Waiter was very good and food did come out fast after ordering.
The food was good, but not as good as it looks. It's nice for a special occasion but not a regular place.
Great service, food was good but pricy. A good place to go once in a while. My daughter loved the smoking drink and the colored burgers.
The decor was unique and kid-friendly. The menu was decent but VERY pricey. 5 people...$152 (without tip) and no alcohol. Definitely a one-trip experience.
It was a nice resturant and nice staff. The food was great. The drinks was nice
Basically a restaurant with food/drink made for instagram. The $40 goblets contain minimal alcohol for the size and glamour. The food was subpar and fries chilly. Overall cool place that you should check out once, but will most likely be the only time you go.
The food was great, the ambience was fantastic and our service was excellent. The restaurant is quite loud but that goes along with the experience. Drinks and food are a bit pricey but definitely fun for an occasional celebration. And the portions are huge! We were celebrating two birthdays that night. I did have a 7 o’clock reservation and we were seated by 7:15. However, we did arrive at 6:15 to check in for our reservation. That was based on a number of other reviews on OpenTable. “Arrive early to be seated on time.”
The service was great. Our server was very friendly and accommodating
The food was ok, but the drinks are so ridiculously overpriced, it was not even funny. $27 for goblet of mostly ice with some mixed juices is absurd. Dinner for 5...$250 for chicken sandwiches and and 1 pasta dish.
Was here for our daughters Sweet 16. Food was very good, however it is extremely loud and service was slow. There is a lot of “hype” for this place. We didn’t see/feel it. Been here, done it. We’re good.
We had a reservation, but they took a long time seating us, and there were several tables open. Our waiter was terrific! What disappointed me the most was we left our leftovers on the table but did not leave right away (were by the candy shop) and no one came after us to try to get them to us. I thought they could have tried to accommodate that.
Overpriced drinks and food but a must go at least once for experience. Need a kids meal and smaller drink for kids to enjoy so they don’t waste the 28.00 one. Service was good, staff very friendly. Don’t forget to get parking ticket validated!
When you go to the Sugar Factory your going for the experience. Our service was terrible! It was like the guy was upset to be at work (not my problem dude, you chose this job!) He refuses to write our order down and thinks he can remember it, but then when it comes out wrong, were the bad guys! WTF. Then when the corrected order comes out it's over cook. Truly not worth the $$. The kids enjoyed the kiddie cocktails, desserts and decor...hence the experience, but rather go to outback or Longhorns for 1/2 the $
We may have had a party of 10 but, we pretty much ordered milkshakes and sliders and it took over 30 min to get the food and then our waitress was not to be seen again till she dropped off the check. No water, extra condiments or napkins.
Will probably never return or recommend
