WOW! We enjoy celebrating our grandkids birthdays here. Third time we have been there and again it did not disappoint! We will be back in February!
Great place for drinks and food. The atmosphere was beautiful and more. Servers were fast and polite.
The food was not worth the money at all extremely overpriced and spent less than 40 minutes in the restaurant.
Overpriced for the menu. Food is good but nothing extravagant. Good dessert selection, exceptional goblets. Friendly staff
Good time as usual.
Very energetic atmosphere. Drinks were sugary and tasty. Food was okay, service was okay. Great for birthday parties.
This place is all about the over the top and over priced food. The food was extremely low quality. I ordered sliders made with days old bread. Everything tasted microwaved and we payed almost $100 for a family of four.
Looking for a unique splurge to commemorate an event or person? Sugar a factory hits that on the head. I don’t see myself returning as it is RIDICULOUSLY expensive- but as a one time birthday treat for my daughter and her two friends- it was fun! Definitely a party inside with a lot to look at while you wait- disco ball and laser lighting, loud dance music, tv screens showing celebs loving Sugar Factory is sensory overload. We went on a Saturday night and were seated 30 minutes after our reservation time. Service was just ok- we were at our table for almost 10 minutes before our server greeted us and each time we needed him after that it was always at least 5 minutes of looking around to find him to catch his eye before we could get his attention.
Also- even though I mentioned at reservation time and as we were seated, that it was my daughters birthday- nothing “special” was done since we didn’t order the $60+ dollar birthday Sunday with Sparklers.
Cannot imagine the cost when you add food or alcohol- our bill for 3 shakes and a hot chocolate was $88.00! All in all- as an expensive one off outing, it was fun. Not worth the repeat of going back.
It’s a good spot for the experience but, the fact that we had reservations and waited over an hour was what caused the disappointment. The server was extremely busy that we only saw her twice and that was to get the food ordered in. I think since she knew the gratuity was charged due to us having a party of more than 5 she cared less. Cocktails we ordered was drowned in alcohol and it had to be sent back because it was just nasty. Good ambience, music was okay but extremely over priced. Like I said go for the experience just to say you have been there, but won’t plan to visit ever again.
Even though the waiter wrote the order down, it was not cooked as requested. Wanted medium for steak. It was so well done, it was awful. Waiter NEVER CAME BACK to see how everything was until he brought the check. We told him that it was not cooked right and asked to speak to manager. The manager came by heard what we said and actually said “so what do you want me to do about it?” Horrible service! Not really apologetic. And we said we wanted a birthday thing for table but they never brought it out. Not worth it at all!!!
The food was ok and the shakes were very good. It's pretty loud, and if hip hop isn't your thing you won't really like the music. It's like a club with children running around.
I like the restaurant, food is great and my server was amazing the only thing is the reservation,I reserved a table two weeks ago for an especial event and we had to wait an hour to be seatted.
Fun experience, but not sure we would visit again. Music was so loud we couldn't visit with our guests. No kids menu. Food was served fast and good.
Sugar Factory seemed like a good idea, but in actuality not worth the price or calories. Someone is making a lot of money off of its customers, just because they can. Seems likely that a ton of food is wasted too. Would never want to go back.
Nice to experience once. The place looks run down, our party of 7 was shoved in the corner with paint chipping off the walls. Service was just ok. Water spilled twice at our table right in front of the man delivering or food and he just waited until I cleaned up the mess, served and walked away. Very pricy for what you get... again it’s an experience you should give your kiddos once at least!
For the cost the service was very poor
Service was great. Some of the food was good and some was not good.
We got the rainbow donut ice cream sandwich for $13. The donut was so stale it was more like a bagel. It was beyond bad. We let the waiter know and he took it off the bill right away. Chocolate martini was awesome but way overpriced. Wouldn’t go back
Fun decor and delicious drinks! Food was really good but not enough space to walk around to get to tables or bathroom.
Drinks are amazing, the food was just OK. Our server was fantastic! I highly recommend just doing appetizers and go all out on the drinks!
Great menu, very good burgers. Service was excellent
Couldn’t use my dining reward without it being on a card even though I was sent one through the app. For a kid’s themed restaurant it is amazing they do not have a kid’s menu. They could take the 5 mini burger appetizer and cut it down and add some fries for kids.
felt rushed by our server, overpriced, the food is okay, not bad bad, but for that priced should be tastier and have better options .
Awful. Average food that was over priced. Restaurant was t clean and service was terrible. Disappointing experience. Will not go again
I had an amazing time the staff were very attentive the manager was great the music was is Jumpin the FOOD was not so good had very little flavor very Bland but I do want to point out there was one young lady that made my night my phone went dead and I wanted to take a picture of my birthday drink and she politely came over gave me her phone so I can take the picture and send it to my phone I don't know her name but I do want to thank her so much I will be back next year for my birthday
The only down fall we had was my daughter went with 2 friends and there table was in a small corner.
They were isolated from other people and felt because they were teens they were shoved in the back
Had high hopes for Sugar Factory and it was a disappointing experience. Brought my sin for his 13th birthday and the place was beyond dirty for one. The waitress was very slow and I had to teach her down note then 3 times. Found came out barely warm. And in top of all that a 20% service fee was added to the bill for no explanation. Won’t be back with this type of service.
Extremely loud environment.
We were a group of 6 and were squeezed into a booth that is designed for 4 or 5 adults.
Their signature drinks were $36 or the non-alcoholic version for $26 - very high priced.
We had to ask the server for every little detail. His only focus seemed to be selling us drinks. We had to ask for ice (which he brought with a pair of tongs that did not grip the ice cubes). We had to ask for dishes when we ordered desserts to share.
I would not recommend it and I will not return.
Very nice place and people. I like coming again.. drink: excellent!!!!!
I made a reservation for my son and nine other friends to go to the Sugar Factory after their homecoming dance. They had a 10:45 pm reservation made on Open Table. When they arrived, the hostesses were rude and dismissive of them because of their age and said that they did not have a table available for them yet. After about 20 minutes of waiting, my son called me in a panic. I called the restaurant and was put on hold twice. Only after I finally spoke to someone and was very upset AND 45 MINUTES AFTER THE RESERVATION TIME, the kids were finally seated. I specifically made a reservation and confirmed it so that these kids would not be waiting by themselves. A 45 minute wait and the way that they were treated was completely unacceptable and we will never go back.
Let's face it, we all come here for the over-the-top desserts and energetic vibe. But the front-end experience of checking in and waiting for a table is the worst in the business. I would say it's "run by kids for kids". Reservations really mean nothing here. It's basically a way to get your name on the list. I once again waited 45 minutes for a table despite having a reservation. You could create a really good experience if you just cleaned up this aspect of your business. Until then, I pray my daughter out-grows liking this place because I hate it.
I love going to the Sugar Factory for special occasions! The birthday celebrations are excellent! The food, dessert and drinks are very good, but honestly a little overpriced.
We had a reservation for 6pm they didn’t seat us until 7pm. They said they were backed up and would be able to sit outside if we wanted to in 50 degree weather. After seated service wasn’t the greatest and the food was not good at all. Only good part is the drinks.
Food was good. Nothing special. Tooo Loud!!! Won't be returning
Lots of improvements needed to compare to others around the country. The one kn San Diego is phenomenal.
Had a great time ordered only appetizers, staff was friendly, ambience was beautiful, and dessert and drinks were fun and pretty good! I would go again mainly for the fun drinks and desserts!
Yes-we have had two birthday parties there for our Daughter
Drinks were good, but overpriced...and you don't even keep the glass mug...For $36, you would think you would be able to keep the glass mug...Probably would not come back...Just one of those 1 time experience kind of a place.
Super overpriced drinks and food. The food was mediocre. $22 for 5 mini hamburgers and $7 for fries....
Service was very busy and the servers were running around everywhere and over all was a good experience but could have been a lot better like Chicago
