Went for my Grandsons 13th Birthday.. It was fabulous. We only went for dessert but the food that was coming out for others looked yummy! Will be back in soon.

Not worth the money spent. Definitely expected better service and food. From the very beginning it was horrible service. Girls that were checking people in were very stuck up and rude. Asked where the restrooms were and when walking back one of the girls that worked there bumped into me I had the common courtesy to say excuse me but she gave me a dirty look so I walked away. Waiter that was helping our party seemed like he had better things to do. Never came by to see if everything was good or if we needed anything else. Notified the restaurant that we would be celebrating a birthday prior to the reservation was willing to pay the extra amount for the occasion but it never happened. Still left a 20% tip since I know the way they make earn a living. Wouldn’t recommend coming here for any special events.

Both of us went on a Friday, so it was crowded. There were lots of people celebrating birthdays so the environment was loud with lots of singing happy birthday from the staff.

I really loved the food and the ambiance. The service however was not good at all!!! Our server took forever to bring anything we asked for. Even after complaining to the manager the service was still not good. No apologies were ever made

We dined at the Sugar Factory for our daughter's 8th birthday. When we were seated, we were informed to expect a 20% gratuity added to the bill because we had a party of 5 people, which I thought was odd, since I usually experience that happening with parties of 8 or larger. I was splitting a meal & asked at the time I ordered for an extra plate. It took over 5 minutes after our food was delivered to get the plate. It was extremely difficult to get our server's attention throughout the meal. When I ordered a Diet Coke, if I'd know it would be a warm 6 oz bottle, I wouldn't have wasted the money. As far as desserts go, the presentation is over-the-top amazing. The milkshake was really tasty, as was the whipped cream, but the rest of the desserts tasted mediocre at best.

When we received the bill, I was extremely irritated to find that we'd been charged $4.95 for a sparkler that had been included on the dessert ordered by another member of our party, which was presented to our daughter, causing a fair amount of confusion. In the end, we spent more time and more money than we wanted to, for an experience that was "just okay" for the adults in the group, but which was pretty impressive for the kids. That being said, the single $5 sparkler really wasn't much of a "wow" factor after the birthday girl witnessed two other tables getting the $99 dessert with multiple sparklers and dimmed lights and birthday music!

If you want to go all out for a birthday, don't mind spending 2+ hours lingering over a meal, and want a wide array of super sweet, kitchy fun alcoholic beverages and milkshakes, want to do some impulse shopping for fun candies/treats in the gift shop, you'd probably enjoy it.

If you want to drop less than $250 for a family of 5, get in and out in less than 2 hours, expect delicious salads, sandwiches, appetizers, and non-milkshake desserts, and your children will be upset if you split a single dessert and ignore the very alluring candy store -- don't go!

This place is fun. Great place to celebrate a birthday. Get appetizers to save room for desert. A sundae for two will serve 4. The chocolate one is awesome. If you have reservations, leave extra time for the parking garage.

Service was awful! My meal came out way before everyone else at our table. I felt bad eating but I didn't want my food to get cold. And then it took forever for our desserts to come out and when it did arrive the ice cream was half melted. The server forgot our appetizer and forgot the sparkler for our son's birthday sundae. For what they charge, they should make sure the service is on point. Definitely won't be back.

Girls night out. We had a fun evening overall. The prices were a bit high for what we got. I felt like all the drinks were good but I felt like all the options were too similar.
We ordered the Mac n cheese balls for an appetizer and they were delicious.

While this place has fun looking drinks and food and is a kid draw, it is wildly overpriced for the service received. You can see the menu and prices online so you know what you are getting into going in. That isn't the point. They have a lot of rules. Upcharges for too many things. The menu says choice of side with the filet, the seafood, the strip, and other entrees, but then oh now there is an upcharge for anything but salad or fries. Very misleading and pretty sure that can't be right but our server upcharged us. Want pretzels instead of gummy bears in the fondue? Upcharge. Ridiculous! Poor customer service just ruins the experience. The goblet drinks are pushed heavily and so packed with ice that it is in no way 60 ounces. There are so many of those types of gimmicks to squeeze more money out of people so it is just annoying especially when you are trying to show a birthday girl or boy a good time. They just seem to know that and rip you off. The many tvs? They all just loop Sugar Factory commercials. What a waste. Party of 6 or more? 20 percent mandatory now matter how incompetent your server may be. That seems to breed a situation where they know they get their 20 percent so they just ignore you.

It's a great experience for kids. The meals are large but the prices are too. The goblet drinks are way overpriced for no alcohol. Our server was ok. Service was slow. It was my daughter's birthday and she really didn't do anything to make it special. Wouldn't even sing or turn on the music when the dessert came because we didn't but the $99 King Kong. Our group was only 2 adults and 4 kids and we were also charged an automatic 20 percent tip.

There are too many bad reviews for this place.. I thought everything was excellent. Myself & 3 other people went to celebrate my 21st birthday on a sunday night at 7pm. Make sure to make reservations, luckily we did & only had to wait 2 minutes for them to prepare our table. Almost every table was full & it was definitely peak time, yet our server, unfortunately I cannot remember his name, was fantastic. Very attentive, let us know when to start recording our drinks before he filled them, & checked in on us several times to make sure everything was good. I ordered the watermelon patch goblet with alcohol and the big cheesy monster burger, best meal ever. Definitely pricey, but worth it every once in awhile. I want to go back already!

Even with a reservation, we had a 30+ minute wait. The girls at the hostess desk were cold and unprofessional. The restaraunt itself was a lively atmosphere, but in need of some attention. The tiles on the wall where we were seated were missing from the wall. The bathroom was gross. Our waitress was brief and cold. The restaraunt tacks on an automatic 20% gratuity regardless so the server didn’t even seem to feel the need to even try and provide good service. The entrees were “meh.” Nothing amazing and certainly not worth the price. The goblet drinks are very expensive but a cute novelty experience. I’m certainly not running back to this place.
