The food was okay. The waiter with the eyeglasses bumped into my chair 3 times without saying sorry! I can’t believe he is still working there. Very bad experience and I don’t recommend to eat in that restaurant.
We went to have dinner but neither of us were that hungry so we ordered different appetizers.
The Thai Beef lettuce cups were so salty they were inedible. The edamame hummus had a real bite to it and was spicy which wasn’t mentioned on the menu. My partner ate it but I didn’t care for it at all. The Ahi tuna “rolls” were good but absolutely tiny and more of an amuse bouche than appetizer size.
The ambiance left much to be desired if you’re going for a date or quiet night. Even though we were one of only a few tables, we were sat in an awkward spot in the middle of the restaurant. Seating is mostly tables, not booths, so isn’t that comfy. With all the great restaurants in the city, I wouldn’t go back based on our experience.
Unimpressed with ambiance, food quality, service, and price. Lobster mashed was like gerber baby food and ny strip was flavorless. Meal took so long to come, that they comped us a glass of wine. Nice gesture, but not enough. We wont be back.
Whenever we are at Mandalay at strip steak. The restaurant food is excellent however the prices are out of control we had two drinks a steak, pork chop, and the total price without any discounts was well over $220! Again just two people. Also head side orders and salad Brussels sprouts, baked potato. The steak along was a 7 ounce filet that was just under $70! Katsu pork chop was over 30
Everything was our ala cart with the entrée so you did pay for your sides
The service was excellent but be prepared to spend an average of $100 per person which I think is too high
However we will continue to visit Service is excellent and the food is also extremely tasty
Better than my expectations. Bar tender was great. Server was great and food was high quality. Expensive but worth it.
Bad service, good food
Brian was our server and he was amazing. The food at stripsteak is always perfect. This is one of our favorite restaurants to visit in Vegas. Also they have the best cocktails.
Great food and ambiance! Definitely pricey and not very kid friendly.
I was in steak heaven. Had everything I wanted and then some. Pricey but worth every oz.
Stripsteak is good but it used to be better. I feel like it has become overpriced just from eating here the past 4 times I have come to Vegas. It is noisy and depending on where you sit it can be busy with waiters and people going to and from tables. I feel the ambiance could be improved. The food is really good but be prepared to spend at least $100 per person when you go.
Loved Stripsteak! Great food and amazing service!
Delicious meal and the service was wonderful. The filet mignon was prepared perfectly and tender. The cream spinach and baked potato were mouthwatering and yummy. Dessert, however, was the best. We chose Beignet with three flavored dips. To die for! Worth the huge spike in my blood sugar!
From start to finish the best service we have ever received in a restaurant. We got the lobster tacos and they were amazing, light and flavorful. Went on to get Caesar salads with a side of karaage fried chicken. Then for the entree we did the wagyu tomahawk steak for two, with baked potato, truffle Mac and cheese, trio of mushrooms and baked potato with Gouda. Every thing was perfect. I dare you to find a better meal combo. Also the tables aren’t too close so was not worried about conversations or all the things we worry about during the 2020/2021 times. As a black male I’ve never been treated so kindly in a restaurant before. I will go back every time I am in Vegas.
Ceasars salad was warm. Romaine was wilted. Horrible and unsafe. Steak was dropped on a diner plate. Average. No attempt to present it well. Cheesecake was bland. Service was poor. I have dined in Vegas for 20 years. By far the worst meal and experience I have ever had. An embarrassment for Mina and Mandalay Bay. Picasso at Bellagio costs less for ambiance, several courses and thoughtfully prepared food. Absolutely offensive experience. Close down.
Spectacular food. Best restaurant Mac and cheese I’ve had in YEARS.
We booked this a date and the hostess tried to put us in a poor table next to the kitchen and a large party with children. When asked they accommodated us with a more intimate table. The steak and Mac n cheese was delicious.
Dominic, our server was outstanding. The atmosphere was nice and the place was clean. The food was excellent, although my steak was slightly over cooked. Not enough to complain honestly, but at that price point you expect perfection. The rest of the experience and food was good enough to justify 5 stars!
Our usual spot to go each time we go to Vegas ….
An outstanding experience. The food and service were beyond excellent. Our waitress, Heather was extremely friendly and the entire staff was a pleasure!
Steak was mouthwatering, as were the starters , sides and desserts. Excellent meal.
Always great food and service!!!!!! We are a big fan of Stripsteak. Visit as often as possible in Vegas or Hawaii.
Delicious! We loved it all!
Awesome! My third visit in six months!
Not what I am used to at a Michael Mina property.
We went to Vegas some good friends of ours and they wanted to try Strip Steak because they knew we had dined here many times over the years. Although we've been unimpressed in recent years.
The service was not so good and neither was the food quality. I ordered a medium/rare bone-in NY Strip and not only was it rare but the presentation was one of the worst looking steaks I've ever seen. To the credit of the staff and manager, they did bring me a new steak that was cooked properly. However, it was just okay. Not good, not great.
Extremely disappointed with Strip Steak and will not be back. There are plenty of other great steakhouse in Las Vegas and this is no longer one of them.
The evening was good including the food. Our server was underwhelming but his assistance were great. Mask was and impediment but that’s been happening for too ling to have to ask that everything be repeated. The busboys were better than our waiter. Food was great. Would definitely go back.
Amazing! Steaks were melt in your mouth tender. Truffle Mac&Cheese so rich and luxurious.....
The Food Was Fabulous, Right on Point!!! It was Very Busy and Loud. But Overall A Great Restaurant, I will Definitely be coming Back , When I Come Back To Las Vegas.
great steak tartar and lobster tacos. The ribeye was fantastic but the wagyu ny strip was not meaningfully different than your run of the mill NY strip. Great service and and decor though.
Great place to dine.
Overall very good experience
Delicious food, hot food could have been hotter, but so good overall. Great service. A little bit too noisy, but all in all loved our dinner. Highly recommend
I had the filet. It was one of the nicest steaks I've ever had. I didn't get any of their sauces etc but the flavour was still amazing so I was well happy. We also loved the fries they give out. Very moorish. It was pretty expensive. We had a steak each, 2 sides to share, a couple of drinks each, no wine and it was $250. Have had nicer meals for less but it was good. Wouldn't hurry back tho.
The atmosphere is more like a taco shop than a $90 a la cart steakhouse. My steak was on par with Outback. Which is not a compliment. I won’t eat there again.
Great meal, prices a little high for the selections on the menu. The server was not the best but acceptable. I’ve dined here many times before and the service was always outstanding so this was a one off experience.
One of the best meals we've ever had! Service, appetizers, steaks, drinks were all outstanding! We'll be back!
The staff were great. They were best part of the experience. The food was about as good as I would have cooked at home for ~$30. The steaks were fine, and cooked well, but no different than I have gotten at my local restaurant for 1/3 the price. The $39 lobster mashed potatoes were fabulous, but where was the lobster? If you are going to mash a $1 potato and charge $39, it needs something to fancy it up.
Everything was “good” but nothing special, except the atmosphere, the staff, and my date. We had an enjoyable night because we intended to spend a bunch of money, but walked away wondering what about it justified the price.
