First time there and was impressed with ambience, tasty food, and especially the price. Coming back!
We were there for a special occasion. Service was attentive yet not rushed. Food was good with reasonable options for the vegetarians of the group. Chocolate Nirvana - one of the reasons we went to this restaurant (yup - we are a bunch of chocoholics!) didn't disappoint :-)
I chose Strata based on online recommendations and was not disappointed. The noise level was low which worked out well for this business lunch. The food was liked by all in my group. The wait staff was friendly, informative and well timed as to not disrupt the business discussion that was ongoing. I will definitely bring my wife for an evening dinner.
We arrived at 1p for Mothers Day Brunch, and most of the food was gone.....rubbery bacon, dried out eggs, hardly any dessert choices. Had to flag down people for refills - needless to say for $35 per person, this place has been removed from our list of places to enjoy Holiday Brunch at. To add to this joy, a family with a screaming toddler made the last hour of this experience even worse. Won't be back.
My wife and I enjoyed another great meal. We both ordered the Shrim/Grits. The waiter warned us that the recipe had changed a tad, but it was still delicious. SO glad we stuck with our original order.
We were here for a B-Day and had a wonderful meal. From the Pasta, Steaks to the Lobster it was awesome! Highly recommend.
We went to Strata for a casual Sunday brunch after church. From the pleasant patio to the delicious entrees, the outing was very enjoyable. Three of us ordered 3 different items off the executive lunch and everyone raved about the food taste and variety. One friend ordered an egg dish which was just perfect. The starter salads were tasty and very pretty. The service was great and a special request of lemon slices and butter was quickly and graciously accommodated.

Great service, the only positive attribute of my dining experience. I started with an Old Fashioned cocktail which tasted something left over from a rager. The Bulliet Rye was so dilute, my Girlfriend whose an intolerant of scotch or whiskey based drinks was thinking "wtf". Was there bitters? I don't know? But the flourish of mashed maraschino and orange rind residing at the bottom of the glass was a constant reminder of my poor choice of drink. The wine list looked adequate. But my initial choice of cocktail made wine an afterthought . The Buttered Poached Pear Salad consisted of wilted lettuce and canned pear. The Spinach and Mushroom Ravioli equally disappointed with Ingredients lacking freshness. My Girlfriend commented the pasta tasted like overcooked Wal-Mart branded ravioli. I won't comment on my dining companion's meal, but she was equally disappointed with her choices. Overall, I spent $100 for the meal including tip, but Black Walnut, El Tiempo, Brix, Peli Peli which are all close by would have given you better quality at a more reasonable price.
Waitstaff was knowledgeable about the menu and the one list. An excellent evening
Our waitress was very friendly but knew nothing of the menu or the wine list. She needed several weeks of mentoring from someone more experienced before handling tables alone. This is the Manager's fault. The wait staff is on the front line dealing with the customers and can not be sent out untrained or the business will suffer. Three filet steaks ordered the same way came out every level from slightly pink to bleeding rare. Consistency is a problem.
I was expecting something a little nicer as far as décor... not that it was bad but was not as "swanky" as I had imagined, given other venues in Vintage Park. The food was A.B.S.O.L.U.T.E.L.Y fabulous!!!!!! I am actually very thrilled that we have found a place with amazing cuisine and a very relaxed atmosphere! I had the tomato basil pasta with shrimp, it had great flavor. You'll often find cream sauces a little bland, so great job there! My husband had the 10oz filet with Lobster. Lobster and steak both cooked to perfection. We have not had great luck finding somewhere that does not over cook their lobster. We also had the crab cakes and the maple bacon spinach salad. The fried goat cheese was delicious! The only recommendation I have is to mix up the regions in which their wines come from. Most all the wines seemed to come from California. I'm not a huge fan of CA wines. I would have even purchased a higher end bottle if there were more options. I think for food pairing alone this should be a note to think about because the food is amazing. It would be worth their while to have a Sommelier come in a revamp their wine list to match the menu. All in all I will definitely visit Strata again.
My wife and I had the crab cakes as an appetizer. They were excellent with the lobster sauce. I ordered the Kobe burger. The party was good, but the jalapeño bun was on the sweet side. I would return for drinks and apps, but not for dinner.
Our waiter was super respectful about the time we took for taking photos of our group. He also gave good suggestions for entres.

They obviously take service very serious. They make all their guest feel special. I think you will really enjoy the dining experience.
New Year's Eve at Strata was a special experience. New Year's eve menu was delicious. Megan, our server, was knowledgeable, pleasant and overall a delight. Yes, we will be back
We had an excellent waiter and the steaks were very good. We will certainly return for special events. Corn Chowder was also very good
Had dinner on christmas eve and we had not been here previously. The food and service were marginal at best. We had the fondue and i had the pork chops. Quite honestly we have made better at home. We also had a reservation and the place was probably half full. We were sat next to a very loud 8 top.
