Stoneground Kitchen Ratings and Reviews
The four of us completely enjoyed are meal and will definitely return. The service was great and our server Court was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and the wine list. We started with the mussels which were excellent, my wife loved the beet salad which she has as her entree and I had the Lasagna which was a bit dry but had great taste. The couple with us had the wagyu beef appetizer and the pork tenderloin and raved about both. In all it was a very enjoyable meal.
Dinner was very good. We started with the polenta tots, hot olives and bruschetta. For dinner we took our servers advice and ordered lasagna and margherita pizza. We had to have dessert, and shared the flourless chocolate torte with salted caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream. Everything was amazing. Definitely will return and highly recommend.
Had a great time here. Came here to celebrate a birthday called ahead and asked for a few special requests. They accommodated and went above our expectations. We kept is light as far food goes but wagyu crudo and beets were delicious appetizers and shared the duck entree. Just what we were looking for. Our server (Joel) and bartender (Nick) were great as they guided us through their menu and cocktails.
My recent dinner at Stoneground, as usual did not disappoint. I don't think I've ever had a bad meal here. My personal favorite dish, black tagliatelli, was wonderful - big pieces of lobster, and wonderful flavor & sauce.
Other dishes we enjoyed, were rib eye , and a vegetarian buckeye pasta/eggplant....all very good.
Don't miss the donuts!
We had reservations for New Year's Eve and arrived to discover that there was a very slim "prix fixe" menu for the evening. We were dining with our teenage kids and there were really no options for them or variations for my food sensitivities. It would have been nice to know ahead of time we'd be spending so much on food that you chose for us and we couldn't/didn't eat. Poor communication. The only redeeming part of the evening was our server. She
The regular menu looks really good, unfortunately.
Very romantic setting. We had mussels and some sort of carpaccio (Braciole crudo) as appetizer and those were just great. As main course we had Bolognese and Meyer lemon orichiette. Both were great as well. The Meyer lemon was the best! Then we ended with a Tiramisu. Perfect desert with an Amaretto. On top of that, the woman serving us was a perfect host. We will be back :-)
The food was fantastic! The Crudo was a delicious start, followed by a crunchy tasty marinated beet salad with pistachios and goat cheese followed by the duck with creamy maple quinoa and mushrooms, exemplary! We also had the horseradish ox tail linguini, also perfect!
What a delightful discovery! We scored a last-minute table for four and had one of the best meals ever. The Black Tagliatelli was absolutely perfect and the pork tenderloin was beautifully presented and delicious. We'll definitely go back and explore the menu more completely.
We had a great time here for our anniversary. We had the little 1/2 booth at the window...just perfect! Get there in time to see the sunset. The wine our waitress recommended was great, recommendations on food was spot on, and the food was delicious. Loved the experience and we'll be back!
I had heard great things about Stoneground Kitchen, so I was eager to enjoy both the atmosphere and food. Suffice to say that the service, ambiance, and food were truly exceptional.
I look forward to my next visit, and I will not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to friends/family.
First time at Stoneground, will not be my last. Brussels sprouts salad with strawberries was delicious. Pasta was fresh. Our server was nice and very knowledgeable about the menu. I wish we would have tried the pizza, because it looked amazing. We ended up dining on a rainy day, so we did not get to eat on the patio, but it looked amazing. Atmosphere was relaxed and cozy.
This is my new favorite! I ordered the Bruschetta, Tomato and Basil Soup, Chicken Parmesan, 4 Cheese Pizza, and Flourless Chocolate Torte. First the ambiance was made warm and intimate with all the reclaimed wood, candle light, and stone. The waitresses are all friendly. The basil was so aromatic and flavorful. The tomato was perfection. I love the unique take on Bruschetta with the Avocado-Edamame mousse. The main course and dessert was pure bliss. Needless to say, I'll be returning until I've fully indulged the rest of the menu. Well done.
Stoneground Kitchen is our down to earth go to Italian restaurant in SLC. The food is excellent- I try to branch out but always end up ordering the chicken parmigiana with house made pasta. The foccaccino is addictive and everything else we have eaten has been equally superb. The servers are friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.
Looked for good Italian with my wife and two kids. The menu in Open Table is outdated, but the overall experience did not disappoint. "Delicious" was our waiter; he was the bomb...ask for him when you dine here. He is knowledgeable about wines and made on-point food recommendations.
Everything we ordered was fantastic...a truly memorable meal!
