Dined at Stonebridge for Valentine’s Day, it was great. First timed that I have been there and will definitely return and recommend.
This is a great place to dine. We were seated promptly and we were not rushed to leave. There are lots of choices on the menu and we had a crowd that needed some special attention. Each order was customized where necessary without making a fuss about it. The salmon was done well and the seafood pot pie was overfilling with seafood.
I go here a quite a few times a year, and always enjoy it
Very good food! Nice atmosphere, a bit pricey but worth it!
Really like this restaurant. The seafood pot pie is delicious. Would like to see more vegetarian options, though.
The food was wonderful. The menu selection for dinners was a bit limited. Service was great
Great food and service. We ordered paella and seafood rissoto.
Bartender didn’t make the drink correctly and waiter asked me if I wanted it put in a to go cup when he saw I hadn’t touched it.
It was the perfect place to spend New Year eve with another couple. Great atmosphere, service and the food was delicious.
We went for a 5:00PM reservation on New Year's Eve.
The server was great and attentive,. A very cold night, we were seated in a glass room and the heat was intermittent at best.
My wife asked for a substitute of potatoes fro the pasta in her chicken dish and we were told that there would be no substitutions that night because it was so busy. I should add that there were only 3 tables occupied in our part of the restaurant.
The food was ok, but given the temperature of the room, it got cold very quickly.
While I was excited by the decor and the idea of the restauraunt when walking in, I soon realized that the Stonebridge was facing an identity crisis. Was it a place for seafood or steaks? If it was supposed to be an upscale pub, where were the upscale offerings?
I will say that this was a perfect place to go for a family gathering and to have a few laughs. The fireplace we were seated by was roaring and warm, and the cocktails, though taking a bit longer than necessary, were unique and divine... though it might be time to move from the Fall list to the Winter list.
The price point does not match the food’s quality - the loaded nachos we got were really just cheese-covered, with only a few slices of banana peppers and maybe a stray piece of olive somewhere in there, quite disappointing. Our main course options were on the whole quite tasty, just not worth the price. I decided to try the menu’s swordfish and I had really enjoyed it, with a good char and spice blend on it. The steak was well-cooked for another member of our party, too. These were good meals, but not at all worth the prices. If they want to charge so high, they ought to create more inventive items. The dessert I had was absolutely stellar, no qualms: a white chocolate Oreo mousse-pie. Pure heaven. Even after being stuffed I cleaned my plate.
Unfortunately, the restaurant seemed to be a bit empty on food on Saturday the 30th. The specials were pre-printed on a sheet, but even so on a very slow evening they were out of the thing that I wanted. Two of the wines we wanted were also out of stock and one of our party was definitely served the wrong kind during our meal, with our server hoping we wouldn’t notice when he gave us a similar red. However, I understand how he might have wanted to reduce our stress. Might have been able to do without the lying. Is it a family restauraunt that you can feel classy at, or a date night? Is it a place locals can feel at home at or is it for brunch?
The two for is excellent. All the meals are prepared and served 5 Star. Clams and linguini is outstanding.
food was very good
service was prompt and friendly
perfect for our business lunch
We took our adult children and 3 yr old grandson here for Christmas Eve dinner. The decorations were festive and the servers and hostess were very friendly and accommodating. There were no vegetarian options on the menu but my step-daughter asked and the chef made her a tasty vegetarian risotto. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and the mashed potatoes were awesome as were the scallop appetizer and the calamari appetizer. All around good meal and dessert.
This is one of our favorite restaurants. This was the first time going on Christmas Eve for the Sunday brunch. It was wonderful. The food was very good and the waitress was Excellent.
Always a great place to dine. Friendly waitstaff. You can't go wrong with their 2 for 1 dinners between 4 to 6.
So good I dined there two nights in a row.
Very relaxed atmosphere for a small holiday get together
Was recommended this place by a co-worker and finally, my brother said let's go. Pass it all the time going to the library, on a summer walk, and now on my way home from work (when I'm not cruising down the highway). It's been on my list of Milford restaurants to try, and I'm glad I did. Great for seafood lovers especially, but also has a bit of everything. Had dinner around their closing time so it was fairly empty and quiet, no idea what it's like in full swing, but I'm sure, no matter what the time of day, Stonebridge will deliver.
Had a great birthday dinner celebration with friends. We got there early and took advantage of the 2 for 32 dinner special. Great food at a great price!
I've eaten here twice, and both times both food and service were fine. Good service is notable when you're by yourself. From the menu I especially appreciate the half portions of the swordfish dishes. Just right if you have a first course and want to leave room for dessert. Wine list is pretty weak, but you can't have everything.
Was there with a group of friends. Good service, friendly staff, above average food selection and taste.
The food was amazing, everything was great! I love the menu. I love the scenery. The guy doing the parking was very welcoming.
Outstanding Pan Blackened scallops! The seafood pot pie was the best I have had. We do the 100+ mile drive from Long Island several times a year just because we enjoy their food.
Went here for my mom’s birthday celebration and we loved it! Delicious food, the wait staff was super nice and overall the place was gorgeous! Would definitely go back again!
We go the Trumbull, Connecticut every year for a conference. Stonebridge is the only restaurant you will ever need as a traveler. Food is very fresh and delicious. Seating is quick. Service is pleasant, fast and attentive. Great place!!!
Great place to go. Found it a couple of years ago when we were attending a conference and make a point of dining there every year since.
Great food and service. My favorite go-to restaurant on business in Milford, CT.
It was an absolutely wonderful experience. The food was delicious, the staff was professional, friendly, and attentive. My only issue, although not a big deal, is that there was no recognition of any type for my wife's birthday. I mentioned in the reservation, when asked if it was a special occasion.
Great food and great service. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the food was a great mix - plenty of choices for almost any pallet. We hosted a group from Germany for dinner and they loved the selection and the food.
