Delicious. Visited twice and was wonderful both times. Service excellent.
Extremely professional and courteous staff. Amazing cocktails I dig the Grape Gatsby. I was pretty disappointed in that the lobster was not available. Absolutely amazing!
We always enjoy dining at stevensons
Britney was the best! We love her. So sweet and took great care of us.
Dining on the islands is always pretty expensive and good sushi anywhere is expensive. I mean- you get what you pay for! But this spot was great. Really yummy food, service was great. Fantastic environment and handling Covid very well. Highly recommend.
Lobster dynamite was really good. Sushi rolls have too much rice. Ambiance was nice but we went near open and the staff was messing around bc it appeared they didn't have much to do. Not a big deal but kind of annoying.
Sushi pizza and lobster dynamite was phenomenal. The drinks were creative and great! The service was ok. The view was gorgeous. Would love to go back, perfect date night spot.
The wait staff was very attendant. The service was quick and the food was delicious. The wine selection was appropriate and we truly enjoyed ourselves. I will definitely dine here again when I’m back on the island.
It was great!! Very fresh fishes and seafoods 😉 ! very authentic Japanese food.
Sushi is delicious! Great view. Only complaint is that most of the food was brought out at once when we had requested the plates be broken up and served periodically.
Post Valentines Day! Food is awesome, Johnny our server awesome. Had fun
Outstanding service and excellent sushi!
Britney is the best!
We sat on the balcony but it was noisy. We had kampachi and hamachi Kamara appetizers and they were good. The sushi was mediocre, rice wasn't good and there was too much rice. The fish was dry, didn't taste fresh. Service was average. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here.
Staff, food and drinks we ON POINT!!!! Service was awesome, not too many hotel restaurants treat locals equally to tourists! ONE OF OUR FAVE RESTAURANTS ON KAUAI!!!
Lisa & Anais were awesome, made a great experience for us, highly recommend! Best sushi on island
I loved the food, our waiter and the ambiance. The cost is high for what you get since it is in the hyatt, but it was worth it.
Service needs to have more hospitality like the Seaview Terrace. Service killed the experience
Everything was AMAZING!!! Definitely one of my new fave restaurant. The Lobster Dynamite was out of this world.
Great place! Really good, helpful server! We weren’t really that crazy about sushi but he recommended something for us. Food was excellent!
We ate at Stevenson's during the week we were staying at the Grand Hyatt for a meeting. It was so good, that we went back the next week when we were not staying at the Grand Hyatt! We are sushi eaters, and have eaten sushi all over the globe. The ONLY better sushi we have had was in Japan! Would highly recommend for people who enjoy extremely fresh, well prepared sushi and sashimi!
I would expect more local fish offerings at a Hawaiian sushi restaurant. The menu was uninspired and expensive for just another standard sushi restaurant.
Service and atmosphere was great though.
If you want good sushi on Kauai, try the Dolphin restaurant. I enjoyed that restaurant much more.
The restaurant is beautiful! Sushi so fresh, waitstaff so kind! Mahalos for a great evening !!
Lots of restaurants are serving good sushi. But the prices at Stevenson's are quite high and we weren't certain it was worth it.
We went from the side door by the hotel lobby without knowing the hostess station is by the other door, the hostess walked by and asking us to give her a second and she could check us in; however she did not direct us to her station but having us waiting by the side door without saying anything. We waited and waited until another staff asked if she could help us and directed us to the long line by the hostess station, when it was our turn, I said to the hostess that she had us waiting by the side door without directing us to the right station. She did not apologize or said anything but checked us in. That was so rude and completely unacceptable, not to mention the restaurant is a premium restaurant and we are the hotel guest of Hyatt as well.
Amazing!! The best!!
Amazing!! My favorite restaurant due to excellent service delicious food and incredible outdoor seating.
No view of sunset really from balcony. Sushi was fresh but expected in Hawaii. I have had better sushi creative rolls at Chuck’s Fish in Tuscaloosa, AL and I have eaten sushi all over the USA so not impressed. Would have paid for a more incredible experience but we were limited being on an island. Nothing was bad but nothing stood out. Happen to be in Hawaii twice the year before on Lanai and the Big Island and both had incredible food! Love Kauai but not the food. Sorry
We ate at Stevenson's while staying at the Grand Hyatt while at a medical conference. We are sushi eaters and love fresh sushi/sashimi. Stevenson's definitely had this. They also have excellent saki, which because we were staying at the Grand Hyatt, we had no problems with drinking. Drinking and no driving is perfect! We started off with the Hamachi Blossoms which were absolutely excellent. My wife and I then split the Moriawase, which is the chef's 15 piece sashimi plater. We don't eat shellfish or eel, so we asked if we could get only scaled fish, and our request was immediately replied with, "Of Course!" We were served 15 pieces of some of the freshest fish we have ever had. WONDERFUL! Sushi is a "bad choice" for us, especially when it is excellent. Can becoming extremely pricey! But I (We) were enjoying these delicacies so much, we order a ke kai maki. Once again, outstanding. All of this fabulous fish was accompanied by a great bottle of cold saki. We got the Sawanoi, Junmai "Ginjo" Saki. Light, not extremely dry, and wonderful. NOT a cheap dinner, but we are probably going to go back next week when we are staying just for vacation!
Executive chef David Ledee is the best! Anywhere!♥️♥️
The sushi here is phenomenal. Easily the best we've had on the islands. The sashimi was spectacular. Quite pricey but highly recommended. We would have gone again if they were open for lunch on our last day but alas...
Excellent food and great vibd
excellent service and the food was amazing I would go again
Great staff. Nice ambiance. Sushi was decent but not a good value for the price. If you’re a sushi regular with a taste for quality, you’ll likely be disappointed some. Overall, still a good experience but not a great value. Cocktails were very solid.
Came here on a recommendation from a friend. We sat outside on the patio under a covered area. It was a windy afternoon but it was a beautiful view of the ocean and the winds did not bother us since we were covered.
We ordered miso soup, cucumber salad, crunchy roll and the Stevenson’s roll. The miso soups was a little bland. The cucumber salad was just ok. The rolls were really good! The edamame was good and a good portion as well.
I ordered a cold sake carafe and the server suggested a coconut flavored one that is not listed on the menu, however the still have it and it was delicious!
Overall a great spot food was good and good price point. The view was amazing!
Excellent sushi in a pleasant and unique atmosphere.
Very fun place to go to; we are locals from the east side and enjoyed this dinner very much. Our server was fantastic. Sushi was delicious and mahalo for the kama'aina special.
Absolutely the best sushi! Thank you!
Food was very delicious. Overall, the service was awful. The tab was charged $56 for 4 pieces of sushi. They had to redo the tab, not once, but three times. It was very dark and we barely could see our food. We will not be back for a long time.
