Named after its friendly owner, Stef’s is a family-run Italian eatery in the heart of the London’s West End. The atmosphere is laid-back and unpretentious, allowing the first class food and wine to speak for itself. The menu is traditional and extensive, full of Italian classics like Gamberoni Diavola and Bistecca di Manzo with a brandy, cream and three peppercorn sauce. Have lunch at Stef's with 6 friends. The venue is well located and great for a lunchtime get together, just off Oxford Street. The menu was varied and the food tasty and the house wine was very decent. The service was ok but trying to get the fixed price menus out of the waiting staff was like breaking into fort knox. We were only given the main a la carte menu and when I asked about the other menus they were only presented begrudgingly and contained no price information which I had to request from the waiting staff which was the one disappointing part of an otherwise pleasant visit

The food and service are consistently excellent at this restaurant. I need to keep going back to try all of the wonderful dishes. Pasta is incredible. Have not had pizza, but looks great. Always feel so welcome there - like an old friend! Don't miss this place!

Not sure what was better - the food or the service. Exceptionally delicious evening. Food was great and the team was incredible! I would highly recommend this place and have already booked my next meal there. Run, don't walk!

We visited at 8pm on 30/12/2014 - restaurant was not overly busy (we had probably just missed the theatre rush). The restaurant is very welcoming and has a nice layout. Service was very good and the staff were very friendly and attentive without being overbearing.The food was first class - both the pasta and Pizza were very good indeed. A definite one to revisit. Prices were also very good for London.

Took my family of 9, including me (grandma) son, daughters-in-law and 5 grandchildren for a meal before going to The Dominion Theatre. The young ones wanted to go to Wagamama's, of course; but grandma did not think that was appropriate and it was agreed that Stef's was a perfect choice! Pasta for the children, steaks and BIG portions were all completely consumed (they had not had lunch!) and fully approved of. Personal service from the maitre'd, who remembered everybody's name was impressive and entertaining. New waiter was not aware that a 'latte' was actually a milky coffee - he thought it was just milk! No problem, coffee was hastily added and all was well. Would recommend and go again.

This was my second time at Stef's and it was as good as the first time we went. I would highly recommend anyone to go to this restaurant. The staff are great and the food fantastic.
