For the price I was expecting a lot more. The salmon was bland and the steak was undercooked and not seasoned. The ceaser salad was great and the service was excellent. But for a “steak house” to not cook a wagyu steak properly is disappointing. My wife’s salmon had no seasoning. I wouldn’t recommend going here.

Great customer service is still a luxury in Phoenix. I mean real customer service, where attitude and posture are as important as great food. There is passion and purpose behind the service, and that makes the food taste even better. I'm a bar sitter and was with a friend celebrating a life milestone. Something the party next to us understood and helped magnify, even though they were not part of our crew. The staff joined in. There was no discussion of what was being celebrated, but they joined in anyway. That's Chicago service. New York service. Small town America-intimate service. The food can be matched by the great steak houses, but I believe Steak 44 rises above because of the spectacular team that brings it home every time I've been there. Cheers

Another great dining experience at Steak 44! We had excellent service by Tomas. Excellent cocktails & a great bottle of Cabernet. Excellent BLT Wedge Salad, filet mignon, NY strip and Chef Moroni’s potatoes. Topped off by a complimentary warm vanilla caramel cake for our anniversary. Highly recommended as always.

The absolute the best food we have ever eaten!!!!! Had the 8oz Filet Mignon from Japan and my life is forever changed!!!!! Everything was outstanding starting with our server and until we wiped out the deserts! Will be making this our date night place FOREVER!!!!
