    This restaurant is one of my favorites! It was very well lit for the holidays inside. Good choice in art as well. The service was phenomenal, the server was attentive. Great portions for the price, the quality of food was apparent in every single thing we ordered. The staff was friendly and addressed us by name. Valet was quick with taking the car, being patient in us collecting our things and also returning the vehicle in good condition.

    Steak 44 was just an average upscale steakhouse. No better and no worse. The drinks were unremarkable, so were the salads, steaks and sides. Certainly much better than your average mid priced steakhouse, but for just under $500 for two people out the door, not really impressed.

    The best food I’ve had in a really long time! This is my new favorite restaurant in Phoenix! For appetizers we got the calamari and the crispy shrimp devil eggs. My parents and I split the Tomahawk steak, crispy potatoes, and corn crème brûlée. To top it off we got the red velvet bread pudding and the warm vanilla caramel cake! It was all to die for! 10/10!

    The pace of our service was perfect. We started off with the meatballs & crispy deviled fried shrimp eggs - both were flavorful! Each entree was enjoyed in a timely manner. The service assistant was on top of it. Our server, Aaron was knowledgeable and highly recommended the house specialty’s in which we did order some of them. One being the Wagyu Ribeye, worth every cent! We had a special occasion and the staff provided a celebration card upon being seated and a complimentary dessert. We absolutely will return.

    10/10 “The food was delicious and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!” Our server Manny was very attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. He made our experience over all even better! We will definitely be back to dine with Manny.

    Our waiter, Nick, was once again, superb. He is interesting, has good advice and always makes Steak 44 look good. Our food was tremendous. I had the 12 ounce filet. It was a great cut and was prepared to the perfect temperature. Our sides were as good as they have ever been. My old fashion was also very good. Overall, Steak 44 nailed it once again. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. It's probably the best steakhouse I have been to in the United States.

    Steak 44 is a classy upscale steakhouse, the restaurant is warm and inviting with ambient lighting to set a positive and relaxed mood. The private cubes next to the kitchen provided views for guests where they could watch their food be prepared. The cubes were noise canceling with beautiful lighting and a burning candle for the romantic touch. All of the staff greeted us as we walked by which made it a very warm and inviting atmosphere. Our server Nick, went above and beyond to ensure our experience was amazing. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items and made sure we received our items in a timely manner. Thank you Nick for assisting us in having a great experience! The food was prepared to perfection from the warm dinner rolls, to the Ceasar Salad, and the entrees. Overall, we had a great anniversary dinner and very much enjoyed the whole experience that Steak 44 offers.

    Gary was our server and he was excellent. The service was spot on between Gary and his assistant. The food was delicious. Gary had recommended two sides (Brussel sprouts and potatoes) which were delicious. My husband’s strip steak was perfect and I loved my ample portion of New Bedford Sea Scallops. Lastly we ended the meal with the Ultimate… a white cake with caramel and a mountain of whipped cream… a true treat that we will be dreaming of in the future.

    Food and service were excellent. It was very hard to enjoy ourselves. We were at table 306/1 (I asked). It may be the most uncomfortable table in the restaurant The air conditioning blows down the wall on one side of the table and makes you shaking cold. My wife and I wrapped up in our coats as best possible and asked the server to move us. She came back and said management had turned up the thermostat, but we were blown away again in 15 minutes. We kept saying we are very cold. Server kept asking management. Repeat repeat. Management doesn't know they need to fix the issue. We were sseated at 5:15 and given the worst table? We finally both moved into the aisle to sit at the end of the table. For $800 for four people, this place has gotten too greedy to take care of the ambiance?

    We were seated at a table right next to the kitchen entrance only separated by a glass wall. Tons of staff traffic constantly and swinging door right up against our table. Really bad spot to be seated. Also our medium well plus filet was red raw rare in the center.

    I heard raving reviews from many people before going so we are excited to give it a try. IMO just another steak house, nothing exceptional. My steak was cooked perfect, although all the presence of fat was absent unfortunately. The seasoning was good and I had the spicy rock shrimp topping which was also good. Here's the thing, the server was just reciting lines she didn't seem passionate about what she was doing and she was just going through the motions. Everything was "how are we" or "what would we", I hate it when servers talk to guests this way I'm not a "we". I don't know if they're getting coached to talk to their guests in third person or why this happens, but it puts up an immediate barrier between the guest and the restaurant staff. We got rolls with our meals and the server talked about different butter flavorings but no butter was served on the side, I think they brushed it on top but all we could really taste was we salt. We ordered several vegetable sides because my wife is a vegetarian,they were all good and hot. The sweet potatoes are exceptionally good and the cream corn creme brulee was also deserving of its accolades. I ordered chilled king crab legs to start and it came with this awkwardly plated assortment of six sauces. Three of them were sitting flat on the plate and the other three were sitting at an angle which was causing them to spill into the other three sauces. It was also only served with two spoons. I think there could be some improvement in this presentation no one needs six sauces and should definitely have individual spoons for each condiment. The bus person working in our area was eager to help and participate but needed some coaching he didn't understand how to pick up plates off of a table and made several uncomfortable movements that he apologized for. I think we would be better served here coming back in the future and just sitting in the bar rather than going through the trouble and challenges of being at a table.

    Ilene was our server and she did an outstanding job. The table assists were great clearing the table, water, etc. Our food was delicious, as always. The turkey dinner was exceptional. Please plan on serving this turkey special again so we don't have to wait for next Thanksgiving. I had the turkey. My husband got the 16 ounce NY Strip. We shared our meals and even took some home.

    We went in for the Thanksgiving dinner. We were disappointed with the Turkey, it was too dry. We had to keep asking for gravy and cranberry. Also, the stuffing had no taste plus had cilantro. The sweet potato praline was delicious. Best part of this Thanksgiving dinner.

    The food and service were excellent. I would definitely go again. We went on Thanksgiving, so it was very busy. Might try going again when it is not as busy. Wish they had offered a turkey meal option for Thanksgiving.

    Server Kate was wonderful. This was a Thanksgiving dinner. Turkey and truffle mashed potatoes were delicious. This has been and remains my favorite steakhouse in the Phoenix area.

    Hosts were not friendly and more worried about phones than the guests in front of them. Had to wait to be seated…restaurant was empty at that time. Server didn’t mention Thanksgiving features.
