Excellent food and service. The tomahawk for the table was nothing short of awesome. Excellent wine selection and guidance by the wait staff.

Best steakhouse in AZ, definitely would recommend, everything was so good

Last evening we were first time guests celebrating a birthday at Steak 44. We ordered the crispy shrimp, shishito peppers and colossal shrimp for appetizers. All of which were excellent. Four of us had steaks which were all cooked perfectly and so delicious. The fifth guest had the sea bass; she raved about it.

The service was excellent. Jake is a true professional as a server and obviously takes pride in what he does. His assistants were also very well trained and attentive.

We were seated in a small room reached via the kitchen (loved that) which has maybe 4 tables. All the tables had guests and though cozy, the noise level of the diners was subdued, however, the music was quite loud. I requested that it be turned down, if it was, it was not noticeable. Maybe it is the new thing in restaurants to play loud pop music and I am just out of step with the trends, but I think jazz or classical music would suit the atmosphere much better.

All in all, it was a wonderful evening and I don’t mind one bit spending some $$$$$ if the restaurant is like Steak 44. Thank you.

Everything was amazing. Our waiter Patrick was great, he did a great job suggesting the wine.

Obviously it’s not cheap to eat at steak 44 but I feel like it’s absolutely worth it. The experience is always special and the food is exceptional.

My wife took myself and my mother-in-law to Steak 44 for our Birthdays, we are only 2 days apart. We all agreed this restaurant could easily hold its own against the finest steakhouses in New York City. I had the NY Strip, my wife and her mother each had the filet mignon. Our steaks where outstanding, we found our meat to be succulent, cooked to perfection, wife's steak was rare, the other two where medium rare. The meat was presented on 550 degree plates so it is actually served just cooler than the typical rare/med rare steaks. Sides are delivered "family style", our sides were whipped potatoes, roasted brussels sprouts w/smoked bacon, and praline sweet potato w/candied pecans (delicious), all three were excellent. We started the night with three appetizers, fried deviled eggs, steakhouse meatballs (outstanding) and the crispy shrimp (incredible flavor). We ended the evening with coffees and deserts. As with any premium steakhouse they have an extensive wine and cocktail menu with top-shelf spirits.
The staff was outstanding and very knowledgeable. All three of us commented on waitstaffs' ability, clearly the company has a quality training plan in place for the staff. Our servers did a simply outstanding job, from the waiter, to the runner, to the busboy.
This was our first visit to Steak 44, but it will not be our last.

Perfectly seasoned bone in ribeye. Was undercooked but still delicious. Caesar salad was good but nothing outstanding. Brussel sprouts was good. Dessert was the bomb. Great cocktails and wine selections.

We made reservations for six but last minute had extra guests and the manager was able to accommodate all of our guests with ease and grace! Thank you!

Food was pretty good. Only negative, the wait for our food and total time there. The bread came 25 minutes after being seated and main course was brought about 40 minutes after that. Reservations were at 7:45 we finally left around 9:45

Wonderful in every way. Food was as usual INCREDIBLE!!! We will request a different seating next time as it was warm in the corner but still an amazing evening

I had the BEST experience ever it was my 1st time there and I would have to say it was more then I expected.. the staff the food were excellent.. no complaints at all ...... the parking can use a little help sences there was hardly any parking available to part at ...

I have been to Steak 44 multiple times to celebrate specials events. This was the only time they missed the mark.
I made a reservation to celebrate my little brother getting a big promotion at work.
When we arrived they sat us to eat in the bar area. Other nice restaurants typically ask if you mind being seated near the bar, but that was not the case.
Our table was right next to the stair well for anyone going in or out of the bar. Plus the music speaker was directly over our head. We had to ask the waiter to repeat himself when telling us about the specials because we couldn't hear him. By the time appetizers came, we asked him to turn the volume down so we could talk.
Other than the seating, the dry age ribeye was not worth the next money. I should have stuck with my traditional order of the A5 filet.

The food was excellent. The staff was friendly, well informed, and exceedingly helpful.

Excellently-cooked steaks, though I would be surprised if the steak I had was prime grade. The service was excellent. The music was too loud for the setting, which meant each table was speaking very loud. Also, the tables were very close together, which did not help. That ambiance did not match the otherwise formal experience. Overall, I would go back. I would also recommend it to a friend, though I would prepare them for the less-than-comfortable atmosphere.

Excellent. Food was fantastic, service was top notch, ambiance great. Never ever feel rushed, such a great experience. Well done!!!!

My only complaint was that it was too dark and a little too noisy.

Krista our server was outstanding.I really believe Steak 44 is the best steakhouse in the country and I have been to many of them.

We were greeted and taken to our table immediately when we arrived. We thought the lighting was too low and we had to use our phones to see the menu. Otherwise everything was perfect. Food tasted great and the recommended wine was excellent. We even had a personalized birthday cake for dessert. We will come again.

I just had my best dine-out experience here. Top-notch service and food.
