Have dined here both pre-COVID and now during COVID; completely different experience. To be fair, they are trying to do their best under difficult circumstances, but not a great experience...it’s now essentially takeout that you can eat under a tent they have set in in parallel parking spots on busy street. You enter order in a klugey app that doesn’t store your details even if u register so that was annoying and then u have to go pick up your food at “window”. Had I known in advance that was the protocol, I might have made a decision not to dine in.

The experience was challenging due to covid processes in place. it a fair judgment of the restaurant during normal times.
Outdoor dinning only which is fine however the servers do not come to you table. You have to order online from your table and you have to pay ahead of time and a 20% gratuity is automatically added in. When the parts of your orders are ready they YELL out your name to the street! You have to get up and go over to the door to get it this happened several times during your meal depending on what you order. Not a very enjoyable dinning experience! Will not be a return customer!
It was absolutely fabulous!! The food was sublime. Station has really figured out a safe a brilliant way to have outdoor dining. We loved it! Highly recommend.
It was a wonderful birthday dinner with highlights of the carrot salad and the popcorn pan a cotta! Definitely going to go back again!
Our meals were very mediocre at best.
Food's always been above average, with creative dishes and great ingredients. Pricing I believe is a little above where it should be. Very good service. Happy hour is a great value and even runs to Saturday.
We were a group of 8, and we requested a secluded table so that all of us could converse easily. We were happily accommodated on this week night--hard to do on a weekend when the restaurant will be very busy--and enjoyed attentive service. Six of us ordered a prix fix menu; two a la carte. Cocktails were distinctive and superb. The food is also excellent, and dishes are pleasantly surprising. "Roasted carrots' to begin were a table favorite, served on greens with ckickpea fritters. Pan Roasted Scallops and Carrot Bolognese were two favorite main dishes. For dessert, the popcorn panna cotta was the favorite, though the lavender pound cake is also excellent with its pineapple topping. It was a wonderful, convivial evening, and we are eager to go back. We're also eager to try brunch on Saturday or Sunday.
Blown away by not only the food, which was incredible, but also the service. Our waiter was so attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Unique cocktails that were all delicious. My new favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh

What a great discovery! Super cool ambience. Attentive service. Absolutely delicious food. (They make all of their pasta in house). Bar area is spacious with high ceiling, lots of room between bar and bar area seating. Took my son, a CMU student, and we both loved it.
Food was wonderful and inventive. We started with the soup and shared the broccoli around the table. Both were really good. The octopus was superbly prepared and presented. The sauce was incredible. Our friend had the tagliatelle with pork and raved about it. My son’s burger was tasty and my husband’s pork chop was perfectly cooked and enormous.
Our waiter was helpful and attentive. The space was comfortable and welcoming. We highly recommend it.

It gets very noisy in the main dining room. Some acoustic noise abatement would help.
Loved the atmosphere, however as soon as we walked into the main dining room all we smelled was cigarette smoke. The food was good, small pours for wine.
Went here for a Valentine's weekend date. The food and service were both excellent. My only complaint is the entryway is nonexistent and there isn't a convenient place for you to wait for your table and it got crowded very quickly. There was no way to not be in the way of both staff and customers. There also seemed to be a staffing issue that night as the host was bussing tables herself to seat people quicker, and even with a reservation we had about a 10 minute wait.
This place is a true hidden gem. The creativity which is accomplished with only a few ingredients is unmatched anywhere in Pittsburgh.
Would recommend with caveats. The food is very good and not badly priced. The dining room is ugly and the seating is uncomfortable. We went for an early dinner and had a reservation. The young and clearly inexperienced hostess argued when we asked to move from bad seats by the back door and next to the electric boxes, covered by a drape. She said other unoccupied tables for two were reserved, but apparently not for the likes of us. We persisted and eventually the manager gave the OK for us to move. The next couple they tried to seat there also asked to be moved. Our waiter was very friendly but seemed pressed for time. He forgot my husband's drink, we had to flag someone down for water refills, they were out of tea, and we had to wait for coffee to be made. However, the food was fresh, innovative, and well-prepared.

I made reservations at 2pm on Valentines Day we had a hightop table in the bar for 5:30 Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu The atmosphere was really nice and we will definitely be coming back. Thank you for a wonderful Valentines Day dinner on such short notice!!!

Food took a long time and restaurant was empty. Never cot refill on cocktails or water. Frittata was so small.

Station offered great options executed beautifully through an attentive but not overbearing staff. The wine list was somewhat depleted but did not impede the evening. I liked the ambiance on the bar side better than the restaurant side. Will definitely go back.
Incredible restaurant. Kind of pricey, but the burger is very reasonable, not to mention the best burger I've had in Pittsburgh. The bartender was knowledgeable about the beer selection.
The food was just not that good, especially at their prices. The atmosphere is kinda of blah, with a fairly high noise level. Our waiter must have had too many tables because every step of the process was slow.

We stumbled across Station through Open Table and are so glad we did!! Great atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable staff and such good food! Our only regret is we did not come starving as we wanted to have everything on the menu. We will definitely be back for the tasting menu! Highly recommend!!
