We went for a lovely last-minute Sunday brunch with friends on the way to drop them at the airport & all of our meals at station were sublime! The hanger steak was delicious, and we could tell our friends were enjoying their sous vide burgers & frittatas. The only thing we were disappointed in was the volume of the music. I’m in my 30’s & had difficulty hearing the waitress & we all had a hard time hearing eachother, so we asked for the volume to be reduced. We will definitely be back though. The knowledgeable and friendly waitress was wonderful, and she offered help with menu recommendations. She clearly knows her stuff! Everything was delicious!!!
I’m not sure what’s happening at the Station. Used to be very hip with much better quality food. It missed the mark in many ways and I won’t be going back for a while, until I hear differently.
Fantastic food, agnolotti was absolutely great as was the liver mousse. Our table favorite was the octopus, the green onion nage was delicious. Desserts weren’t bad, just not noteworthy. Would love to go back!!!

Service was slow for how empty the place was on a Thursday night.
I had heard nothing but hype for this place, and was excited to finally have time for a meal there. All I can say is: try less, kitchen!
Decent space, wonderful service. Those two things needs to be put up front. Food was also received in a reasonable time and the plating was excellent. Unfortunately the issue was kind of major, that of taste. Across the board, the kitchen seemed like it was trying so hard to put an immense variety of flavors into every dish, utterly at the expense of balance. The shame is they obviously use EXCELLENT product, but the base items for absolutely buried under other flavors.
The pork rib was good, but absolutely blew out my taste buds without using every available drop of the yogurt sauce. The hangar steak was a fantastic cut cooked expertly, but the jus and other accouterments were so damn overpowering you would find yourself avoiding them to actually taste the beef. The station burger, which had been hyped by every publication for a year and which I came here too seek out, was about the only burger in recent memory I physically couldn't finish. Another perfect cut of meat served at a perfect temperature, but the Asiago fondue, onion rings, and onion jam were absolutely overpowering and so heavy-handed as to completely hide any flavor of the beef and frankly make the burger too rich to finish.
There is obviously excellent sourcing and a talented staff in the back of the house here. Just stop trying to add that next ingredient to every dish and let the base items come through!

Had to put reservation on a credit card or they would charge 20.00 a person. Chairs were super uncomfortable. When we went to order 4 of us wanted a burger. Low and behold, you were all out of them on a Saturday night at 8:30. The rest of the entrees were around 40.00. Waitress was nice but extremely quiet and soft spoken. Just not great all around. And very expensive.
We'd love the opportunity to clear some things up for you! Our policy is that to reserve a table larger than six or more guests we require a credit card on file. You will not be charged if you cancel your reservation of course, only charged if you just simply did not show up for your reservation. If you give us notice that you would like to cancel, you will not be charged. We also offer entrees that are less than $40. We regret that you had a bad experience, and hope to make it up to you.

Nice environment with excellent service. I had the scallops which were a little pricey but mostly good. The sauce wasn't great and the little squared broccoli cubes didn't do the plate any favors. The romaine salad was good. My husband had the burger and fries which were pretty perfect.
I really love the service at Station. Everyone was attentive and responsive. My server on this particular visit was outstanding. I'll be back soon!
We had a party of 10 so not an easy task to serve a group that size. Our server did a great job and was very attentive. The noise level was pretty high and, unfortunately, all of our food was luke warm, at best. Would l have rated the food higher if had been served while it was still hot.
We have just finished our meal and are very disappointed with our experience. We spent $150 dollars and we were asked to leave because there was a reservation waiting. The waitress took a plate away without asking if we were finished(which we were not), did not offer us the opportunity to order desert and then had the nerve to ask us to leave as soon as the check was signed and her tip secured. This is horrible customer service and really ruined my friends birthday dinner.
Good food, small portions, even the large plate was very small. So for me it's a bit pricey for what we got, although the quality was good, don't go there hungry!
The brunch menu was very unique . Food was interesting fresh and beautifully presented. I thought the portions were very generous.
Our server, Nick I believe, was fantastic. Knowledgeable and friendly. The food was exquisite and it is clear from the bar to the kitchen everyone cares about the products they are putting out there. We will be back.
Station seems to fly under the radar, but you should know that Chef Curtis Gamble and his team put out some really good, creative food. Active bar with hi-tops on the right side of the house with dining room on the left. The local grains salad was delicious. Crispy chicken wings really well done. Excellent beef tartare. Unique chilled charred green tomato and cucumber soup. The tagliatelle with smoked pork shank can compete with any hi-end Italian joint. A new addition to the menu, roasted veal breast & crisp sweet breads, was a hit. Lavender pound cake with coconut and pineapple was a nice ending to a delicious meal.
The price point provides great value for local ingredients and quality preparation. Service is efficient and friendly.
Dinner was super good and our server was friendly and helpful.
I selected Station for a graduation dinner because it had a reputation for providing strong vegetarian options in addition to steaks, burgers, seafood. The drinks were inventive and tasty, the server did an excellent job, and the entire meal from appetizer, through main course and dessert was fabulous. The James Barkhurst and a drink called the Penicillin stand out from the several that I sampled. The Roasted Carrot appetizer was truly amazing, a hearty blend of flavors and textures, and the best of the first courses tried. They also had a seasonal chilled cucumber soup (smoked trout roe, charred cucumber skins, pressure cooked ancho and a yogurt panna cotta). Interestingly the baby romaine salad with its buttermilk dressing reminded people of a great burger, without having any meat in it. Two people had the station burger, served with onion rings and ideal crispy, seasoned french fries bearing bits of real potato skin. They were great dipped in the asiago fondue that came with the burger. Two people had the carrot bolognese, which they enjoyed. One had the spare rib appetizer for his meal, which ended up being a huge portion with four large ribs. Both the hanger steak and the scallops on the prix fixe menu were excellent. The hanger steak was perfectly cooked and delicious, with its cauliflower, roasted mushroom, shallot and roasted garlic custard. But the scallops were unbelievably good, served over rhubarb jus with pickled ramp relish, white asparagus and green garlic fritter. Even though there were only three scallops, the entire dish was deeply satisfying, particularly the asparagus in the sweet-tart sauce: the amounts of each element were perfectly satisfying. I appreciated that they did not just pay lip service to offering tiny bits of (tasty) vegetables, but gave enough to satisfy and stimulate the palate. My prix fixe meal (roasted carrots, scallops, panna cotta) was the best meal that I have had in a very long time, and at $45 was a real bargain.

As always, Station delivers. Great menu with dishes freshly prepared and attractively presented. Our favorite dishes are consistently flavored and always delicious. The Carrot Bolognese is wonderful and unlike any offering we’ve had elsewhere. The Hanger Steak is served with flavorful mushrooms and cauliflower. We are never disappointed at Station.
Hubby and I took three hungry and delighted college students--who were about to study for finals--out for Easter brunch. All raved about their food. I had steak tartare and vegetable quiche with delicious breakfast potatoes and salad. Others had salmon or hanger steak, but all were tastebud-happy with their meals, the service, and the recommendations from the waitress.
This was the second time my boyfriend and I visited Station to enjoy a special dinner and once again, the service, atmosphere, and food were all excellent. If you're looking for a moderately upscale restaurant without the stuffy atmosphere, Station is a great place to enjoy a delicious meal with friends, your significant other, or family from out of town. The portions are generous and well worth the price, especially for the main courses, which is difficult to find at many upscale restaurants.
The restaurant was out of many items and kept coming back after we ordered to tell us that they were out so we had to re-order several times. This would have been okay except they never took the unavailable items off the bill so tried to charge us $300 more than what we actually got!
Food was fantastic- we had the wings and the tartare. The wings were so crispy on the outside and packed with flavour. The tartare was next level- the texture was incredible. We had the infused-at-the-table drink and it was beautifully complex. Service was very friendly and helpful, giving the restaurant a very relaxed feel.
The restaurant was kind of a trek and empty (seating at the bar was less so) so we got lots of attention from our server and we were thrilled when our plates far exceeded our expectations -- a truly special meal. Our party had a mix of vegetarians and meat eaters, so we tried everything from the infamous carrot dishes to the pheasant. Everyone was delighted. Oh, and try to book before Happy Hour ends so you can get your first round at half-price.
Our first time there. Great food choices. Terrific service and we will go back again soon. Their chicken liver appetizer was devastatingly delicious. Not low calorie, but worth the indulgence. Nice wine and cocktail list. Excellent service made it all come together.
Date night with the wife, and it was fantastic. Started with the beef tartare which was phenomenal. Wife had the roasted carrot (WAY better than it sounds) and I had the Roamine which was differently tasty. I had the Pheasant for dinner and wife had the Hangar Steak, both so delicious and cooked to perfection.
Out server, Nick, was great. Present but not overpowering. Very knowledgeable.

While our food was very good, our server was inattentive at best and we waited very long for our food. When it did arrive (half of it came and we waited at least 5 minutes for the others to receive their meal), it was lukewarm at best. Had the service been better, I would recommend this restaurant.

The food was just average. I think my carrot salad and my main meal had the same sauce on it. Service was extremely slow. We ordered 4 beers and it took forever to get them to our table. They have a lot of improving to do on the service side and their menu is very limited and a bit odd. However, their wings were delicious!
We deeply apologize we didn't deliver on an exceptional experience for you and your guests. Falling short of our standard to creating amazing experiences for our patrons is a big fail for us. It's the foundation of our business, and we hate that we disappointed you. We hope you will give us another chance to create that experience for you.
We've always liked Station (and think that the chef offers some of the most inventive food in town), but we were particularly impressed with the 2-course prix fixe brunch we had on Saturday. Loved the two first-course offerings we tried: the warm beet salad w/ goat cheese custard and the cured trout on pumpernickel w/ smoked roe. Both were exceptional. Neither one of us could decide if one dish was better than the other. For second courses, we tried the broccoli and tomato frittata and the bacon and egg on brioche. Not surprisingly, too happily full to even consider dessert. No regrets.
This place was fabulous. We have always had a good experience here from this service to the food. Waiter was very helpful in selecting choices and very knowledgeable.

We really enjoyed our dinner. The food and the service was fantastic! The only thing I would say was that the lighting was so dark we needed to use our phone's flashlight app to be able to see the menus. Pretty much saw every table to have to do this. Other than that we had a great experience and will definitely go back again.
The service was great and staff friendly. The food was amazing and one of a kind. The steak was simply amazing and melted right in my mouth. Very good experience and already told a few friends to try it out.
They closed and didn’t alert anyone with a reservation. So. Went out of our way to get there tonight only to pull up to a closed restaurant. Thank goodness everything else on the street was open. But still.
We apologize for the terrible experience. Unfortunately, we lost power that day due to the windstorm. Though we called our reservations for that evening, I believe your reservation was made after power came back on. We experienced some system errors allowing reservations to still come through. Again, we apologize, and would love to invite you back and turn this experience around for you and take care of your dinner. We understand if you don't want to make the journey back, but we hope you do!

We ate in the bar where the noise level was moderately noisy. Roasted carrot salad was delicious but it's a lot of food. We split that and it was still more than we needed. Hangar steak was cooked perfectly. Mushrooms and cauliflower were delicious. I could have used one more dollop of celery puree and a tiny bit more glaze. Wife had pork tenderloin with gnocchi. Pork was well cooked but missing some flavor, so that plate too could have used a bit more sauce.
