Wow what a hidden gem 🤩 Saw a friend had visited and had to go. Fabulous gastropub - wonderful decor and current poignant touch with the VE Day flags. Staff were extremely welcoming and super helpful. Menu was immense - great selection and a specials board too. Quick service and generous portions. Highly recommend the goats cheese salad and a colourful bowl of goodness and the melt in the mouth beef bourguignon - even had a generous jug of extra mushroom sauce. The side of the ciabatta with bacon and onion chutney and cheese was a cheeky extra treat 😋 Garden area looked cute too! 🌺 ☀️ 🥂 Well worth the two hour drive from Tenby - can’t wait to visit for afternoon tea next 😎😎

Easy to book. Had a courtesy call the day before which is a nice touch. Very warm welcome, the staff are happy and very chatty. We went with the lunchtime set menu which is plentiful. The food looked great and tasted even better. We picked a good time as it started to fill up about 30 mins after arriving. The decor is fantastic. We really enjoyed and will visit again.

Gastropub fine dining, limited menu but everything we chose was great, plus excellent wine list. Quiet early evening, menu not child friendly, but overall we we very happy

An excellent lunch. From the moment we walked in. We were able to chose the table to sit at. We were given time to look at the menu. Water was brought to the table. Plenty of choice. Food was excellent. Well definitely be back.

Support your local pubs or lose them!! We ate at the Red Lion on a couple of nights whilst camping nearby. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the pub has been very nicely renovated and the food was very good. Although only a small menu, it is interesting and gave us plenty of choice. The nights we were there it did get quite full and noisy, but for us that is a good sign! If we are back in the area we will certainly go back.
