We were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome, like expected guests, and shown straight to our table. The service was charming and informative, without in any way being intrusive, and the food delicious, beautifully presented and with delicate flavours. Best asparagus I have tasted for years. The ambience in the ancient pub is very special. We will definitely return and are recommending it actively to friends and family.

Everything about this restaurant is perfect, the decor, atmosphere and most importantly the food was amazing 🥰

The service from entering was very friendly and prompt. It was fine dining at pub prices and excellent service throughout.

We dined here for our last night of our holiday and what a delightful experience, delicious food carefully prepared and served with descriptions at each course, superb service and we wish we lived nearer to be able to eat there more regularly.
