Superb pub . Been coming here for years when down on holiday . Great main courses . And beer selection as well as gin is superb . I was the only one having dessert and I would say that was the only thing I would fault as it was underwhelming ( I had the Eton mess brûlée ) . But service is great , staff are lovely . So I always will like coming back .

Absolutely loved it! the waitress was super friendly and helpful. It was my first time at attempting lobster and she explained how to go about it. I asked for the best wine to compliment it and she brought me a sample to taste prior to ordering. My hubby had the haddock and chips, it was beautiful and fresh, so white and juicy. My lobster was delicious and the salad, chips and sauce were perfect, I couldn’t decide which sauce so the waitress gave me the Thermidor sauce on the side to try. This restaurant has been on my ‘bucket list’ for years and I’ve finally done, it did not disappoint and we will definitely return.

Lovely food. Efficient, happy and pleasant staff as always. Love it here.

Nice ambience and although a little wait for food it was worth the wait. All main courses very tasty. Service was friendly and efficient. Choice of drinks was excellent - unusual sparkling wine and good to see they have gluten free choices too.
