In keeping with Anse Chastanet’s eco-conscious philosophy, the resort’s Treehouse restaurant is offering a new menu, titled Balawoo – a Creole name for a small fish – which embodies the sea-to-plate, farm-to-table philosophy for which the legendary resort is known around the globe.More
Pretty expensive meal - but the view was AMAZING! We could of sat outside and star gazed the entire night. Beautiful venue. There was construction going on when we got there but it wasn’t an issue. We did however find out that the open table reservation times were completely wrong. Dinner did not start until 6pm and open table allowed us to book a dinner reservation at 5pm. So we had to sit around for an hour before we got seated. Which was not an issue but definitely something open table or the restaurant should fix for future guests! All in all - the price was worth it! MoreOpenTable Diner -
Coming into the restaurant, the atmosphere was relaxed, easy going. I no two of the waitresses and despite that, they still had quality customer service. My friend and I was seated, our waiter took our drink order and directed us to the buffet room. The food was local, it could have a bit of variety, for me, it could have had shrimps, pasta (not jus mac and cheese). I understand that people overseas need to try the locality of the hotel but what about locals who want to get that international all you can eat feel? The dessert was simple ... I was so full i couldn't eat another bite but i tasted it off my friends plate, Apple tart had too much cinnamon, and the chocolate whatever it was had too much cocoa, almost made it bitter. All those slight errors is overlooked because the customer service was excellent. MoreOpenTable Diner -
I highly recommend dinner here. The atmosphere is beautiful, as you gaze into the waters while hearing live music. The food was also divine. My partner and I shared 5 tapas and were impressed with the creativity, presentation, and most importantly, the taste. The bruschetta and salmon lollipops were simply divine. It's also adult friendly, so it has a more relaxed and/or romantic vibe. MoreOpenTable Diner -
Feel the sand between your toes at this funky cafe on the sand. Enjoy tasty Creole dishes and wicked rum punch. The management also organizes guides for a two-hour nature hike (US$30 per visitor) in the area that visits Donkey Beach, Secret Beach and Cactus Valley.More
The beers of Brasserie de la Senne are produced by two passionate brewers from Brussels: Yvan De Baets and Bernard Leboucq.
They work in a small brewery honouring the traditional ways of brewing beer: unfiltered, unpasteurized, free of any additives and using only the finest raw materials of the highest quality. Their dedication to uncompromised quality is definitely one of the outstanding characteristics of the brewery.
The beers, with their complex flavour and well-distinguished personalities, are true beers of character, made in Brussels.More
