FogHorn Brewery
Price: Moderate•Brewery•4.5(22)Foghorn Brewery was born of a dream to make craft beer the way it ought to be made—from grain to glass all under one roof.
The historic building in King Street had been abandoned for several years when we first set foot inside. In that dusty old warehouse, we saw the potential to create something really special.
And so it was that Newcastle’s first modern craft brewery opened its doors in April 2015. The town’s industrial roots have played a big part in shaping the unique character of Foghorn Brewery. Built from the ground up, this art deco era warehouse with exposed roof trusses now houses a custom 1800 litre brewery.Hao Chi Newcastle
Price: Expensive•Chinese•4.7(187)Embark on an enchanting culinary voyage at Hao Chi, the crown jewel of LEE’s Yum Cha. In this haven of gastronomic luxury, we weave together the opulence of high-end dining with the rich, intricate heritage of traditional Chinese Yum Cha and celebrated dishes from across China’s diverse regions.

- MMeaganNew South Wales •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoFood, atmosphere and service were phenomenal. We ordered the 2 Japanese waygu steaks cooked medium rare to perfection and just melted in the mouth. The sides and accompanying butters were delicious and all presented like a michilan star restaurant. Wine list is incredible and our bottle of Lakes Foly was to die for. Gabbi looked after us and our every need with a smile and gorgeous prowess. Will dine again and recommend to anyone looking for a steak and dinning experience in Newcastle.More infoNioka SteakhousePrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Newcastle CBD•4.4

- LLauraVancouver / British Columbia •1 review5.0Dined on May 24, 2025Autumn rooms is an awesome spot. Food is always great and service is attentive. I begrudge that they charge a “weekend” service charge even on a Saturday so I doubt I will dine there again on weekends but it’s definitely a place I always come back to.More infoAutumn RoomsPrice: Moderate• Café• Newcastle CBD•4.7
