   The lamb was very good, Brandon was great. The Chef was very nice and personable. Had a wonderful experience. Would call for reservations for groups less than four due it seems the restaurant is set up for larger groups. We look forward to our next visit.

   Awesome food and service! My group of 5 and I all had different steaks and one got the catch of the day (swordfish) which we all liked! The table raved about the cast iron skillet cornbread and mashed potatoes too. My fries with the steak frites were so fresh and crunchy. Brandon, our server, was a delight and so funny. Made our experience great for our last night in Charleston. Sad the rooftop wasn’t open due to construction but it didn’t take away from anything.

   We were looking for a light dinner and they offered items to share which was just perfect. The house cab was outstanding. Our only regret was we could not go up to the rooftop as there seemed to be a private party. Should have been listed on the website.

    Half of the table got entrees about 20 before the other half. Waitress was not receptive to when asked. Manager came swinging by dancing to talk to us. Just not very professional for pricing

    the person in our party who has celiac was violently sick after eating here after being assured by the server that the items were gluten free and safe for her to eat. service was very clumsy and overall an incredibly poor experience.

    Mediocre food, loud atmosphere and forgetful staff. This restaurant has a nice layout but seems to be more focused on the bar, which resulted in a very loud setting, especially if you’re seated near the bar. My wife and I got the fillet, mashed potatoes and mushrooms. Filet was cooked correctly but tough, making me think the quay of meat was lacking. Potatoes were dry and lacked flavor. My wife actually liked the mushrooms. All in all the dining experience was more of a western sizzler with Ryan Steakhouse prices, we were highly disappointed and will not return.

    Ribeye was cooked perfectly. Every bite was better than the previous. However, for 72$, I would have included more vegetables. Overall, it was a very nice place to enjoy dinner . The rooftop was quite yet cozy. The bartender was very outgoing and kind.

    Underwhelming. The rock music was loud & annoying. The temperature was freezing & no one seemed to care. The food was just average, nothing unique. The Ocean Harvest entree was mahi and was very salty! The only wine by the glass option is their wine pour system. It was just bad. The servers were friendly & pleasant.

    We wanted to experience this area of King Street and chose this restaurant due to its ratings and menu. Jenna, our server, set the tone by being wonderful and our meal was great. Although a little loud (mostly younger folks) and a bit pricey, we got good value and the experience was well worth the cost.

    Waitress was incredibly attentive but the food came out warm at best and my wife’s wagu steak was ordered medium rare and it came out medium well. I’ve eaten there this was my 3rd time and I was not impressed especially after spending over $500 for warm food

    Our server was so nice and food was great as usual. Was disappointed that you no longer offer the Sunday Brunch Breakfast Stations. That was one of the best brunch concepts in Charleston. I hope you would consider bringing it back even if you had a server behind the station.

    Went for jazz brunch but was seated at a table furthest from the jazz band and they took multiple long breaks, felt like we barely heard any jazz. Food was good though!

    Waitress was amazing. Food was ok. My steak had to be redone due to being over cooked. The second steak was perfectly cooked temp wise but hadn’t had time to rest was was dry. There was a party across the room from us that had some very loud drunk ladies. They were getting louder and we finished our meal and left. All for people having a good time but these ladies were borderline sloppy loud drunk.

    Ordered from the Restaurant Week 3-course choices and everything was a perfect 10! Praline starter, 16oz ribeye over risotto and asparagus (ample serving and was phenomenal), and cheesecake for dessert. Food was exceptional and being a Charleston native, we are spoiled with great dining all over town. To say exceptional is a compliment to the chef and staff at Stars.     Friday night date night with the fiancé wanted to try Stars for their restaurant week special. We started with a beer and cocktail. He had the draft IPA and I had the lavender lemonade off their signature cocktail list. We each had the 3 course special. Apps and dessert were great and not small portions at all. For our main course we got the New York strip steak and the ribeye. They were cooked to perfection, huge, and had plenty for leftovers. Food didn’t take long. Service was great. Highly recommend.

    They forgot 3 orders; one appetizer and two main dishes. One guest was disgusted and left. Food came for the other person after everyone finished eating. Will never eat there again!!

    Stars has discontinued the weekend brunch buffet & the wonderful Bellinis....we made our reservations looking forward to this. They have discontinued what separated them from other downtown restaurants-so we left without placing an order & ate at Halls!!!!
