I kinda feel like my experiences here have slowly been going down hill over the past few years. It’s a place we frequent. At least a few times a year at the minimum and it seems that with every trip, it’s either been poor service or a sub par dining experience. On this occasion we were the first ones through the door at opening and it was three fairly simple meals. Two kids cheeseburgers and chicken fettuccine. After waiting for an hour I approached staff and noted that all of the food didn’t need to be brought out at once cuz it’s been an hour and we needed to be somewhere after dining. Was told okay and that it was just the chicken she was waiting on. We initially got bread but never was offered more after we cleared that out almost immediately. A little sad to feel ignored. The food finally arrived and the kids had no complaints. I sampled a fry and it was alright for a shoestring. It left me wanting more but I’d wait for my own food and not start in on eating all of the kids. My meal wasn’t bad. The tomato and spinach in it was a nice touch with the cream sauce. The chicken though was much to be undesired. The smell wasn’t of a good char. It was the smell of straight burnt. So much so that the smell left a lasting taste in the back of my throat. I was offered a dessert by the executive chef and told about a malfunctioning burner which attributed to the burn. Doesn’t make sense why it’d take so long if was already thawed at that time and cooked on high. Anyways. The crew changes over more so than I’m used to and am just someone of enjoys the idea of building a report with workers. Maybe there’s newer management or something. It’s just not the same.

We had a delicious, fun birthday dinner. Our table by was by the window with a great view. Our server, Kristi was spot on and was so accommodating and friendly. The scallops were cooked to perfection, as was the blackened cod. The prime rib was very tasty, but had a lot of fat so the manager quickly added another slice of lean prime rib. The blue cheese salad was delicious!! This was an outstanding birthday dinner, the only possible negative we could think of was that nothing special was done for my son‘s birthday. I remember the days when they would have a special card on the table and a dessert. What a great restaurant, we can’t wait to return!

My husband and I come here on special occasions. I would have given a 5 star but the restaurant didn’t bring out a birthday treat for my husband, like they had mentioned over the phone. Regardless we enjoyed the food, ambiance, and service. Thank you!

Food was not exceptional at all feel like could have eaten at red robin. My fish and chips the fish was in deep fried way too long tasted char.

The food was excellent and well-prepared. The service was very good and the view terrific. Our first time visitors to the area and the restaurant were very pleased.

The ambience is always great because of the view. The bartender was very good and the staff around her as well but the food was not what i had come to know at S&S. The standard bearer for the restaurant was the Pea Salad - which had almost NO sauce on it - it was just plain peas and pea pods with little or no sauce so it was little or NO flavor - worst I have ever had - the Copper River Salmon was good but the rest of it was almost tasteless - no salt or flavoring. Not a good experience - wine list was good but the rest was not except for good staff. I won't be back for some time and in point of fact had not been there in a couple of years - now I know why

We celebrated our anniversary. We had a delicious meal. We split a generous portion of calamari as an appetizer, a salad with blue cheese- all the salads were interesting options, halibut, and ribeye. Then we were given a complimentary crème brûlée for dessert. Our waiter was attentive and did nice little touches like giving us extra glasses to split our red and white wine. We will be back.

We had 4 people in from out of town so the six of us went for dinner. The staff and food were amazing and the only issue we had was it was a bit noisy.
