This was our last meal in Washington. We loved it!
It was really nice to celebrate my husband's birthday.
It was good food. This time the Ribs were a little dry/tough.
Not as good as last time.
Stanley & Seafort’s is the restaurant we always choose when we have something special to celebrate. We went there yesterday to celebrate my husband’s 80th birthday and as always the service and food were exceptional. We would recommend Stanley and Seafort’s to anyone that is looking for exceptional food and service.
First I was extremely disappointed it was my wife’s bday and I asked for a window and did not get a window! I know they can’t guarantee it But seeing it was my wife’s bday I was hoping that would have happened and it didn’t... and to make things worse the couple next to us was Drunk and yelling at each other the entire time. Was not a good experience at all
Wonderful waiter and food was great!
Very nice birthday dinner with my family
Excellent food, service, and ambiance, as usual. They have done a nice job with the Covid-19 safety adjustments too.
Excellent meal, prime rib was as good as it gets for this area. Service was good, wine choices were limited, however it was a wonderful evening....recommended this restaurant highly...
Reservation for 4. Everyone was very nice. All wore masks all the time. Since the tables are spaced for social distancing you weren't close to anyone. Didn't hear any loud conversations. The food was great. I wish there were better choices on the veggies served with entrees. Asparagus or Brussels sprout, neither would be my choice. Everyone had a great meal. Love going to Stanley & Seaforts. Our go to for special occascions or a dinner for the 2 of us. 45 miles from home so not able to go as often. Always a great place to go.
It is always a great experience dining at Stanley & Seafort's!!!
We had a reservation for the dining room and we were sat in the bar instead
I made reservations approximately 4 days in advance. My husband and I were celebrating both of our birthdays and I made a special request for a nice table. Being that it was our first time at the restaurant, I thought we would be seated in a picturesque table and I was wrong. I made a small complaint to the hostess who told me I could “wait to see if anything opened up.” I responded saying that I had made reservations and that we were celebrating our birthdays so as not to make a scene. The table was in the furthest corner in the back of the restaurant. The food was fine, but the experience lacked as my request was not even acknowledged. I understand that with COVID it has made things difficult, however I made reservations days before the event. It was extremely upsetting when my request went unnoticed and I was offered to go back to wait after we waited for our reserved table to begin in with. As a military family trying to celebrate, the initial experience was not impressing. My husband and I enjoyed our waitress and the food, but the experience was quite upsetting.
The old Stanley's has left the building. The decor is outdated and the menu is like a Applebee's. No way this is worth the money you are going to pay. The service is not up to par and the food was mediocre. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone until they change and catch up to the 21st century.
Small portions, low quality and over priced. Thanks
We have wanted to try Stanley & Seaforts for a long while and we were not disappointed. The food was amazing, the service was great and I couldn't get enough of the view. The only reason I am giving a 4 star rating is for the wait time on the food. Our server was wonderful and tried to keep us happy during our 1 hour wait time for food and it was appreciated.
Like many restaurants, Stanley and Seafort's is serving a limited menu due to Covid-19. Some of our favorites, like the Pea Salad were missing, but they hope to add them back as capacity increases. The calamari, the fettuccine with prawns, and the Seafood Louie Salad were the favorites from what we ordered. Creme Brule was an excellent finish.
Wonderful service!
Great place, food was great, the environment was romantic and nice. I love the place and I will definitely e coming back
Very pleasant dinner with a great view. My first time coming here and I would definitely come back again. It was busy but worthwhile!
This restaurant sits adjacent to the iconic Harold Moss Bridge on 34th Street in Tacoma. The view at night is beautiful. Food and service are top notch. Worth the drive.
Always been the go to place for us. Coming back from lock-down, menu limited, our meals were good enough. View of course outstanding. We'll be back and hopefully will regain their footing.
This will be my last time eating here. My overpriced steak was burnt to a crisp and the second entree we had was a grease soaked batch of fish and chips. Our server was great but the price tag we paid for the meal for 6 was $400 and I am disappointed in the meal. We had family visiting from out of town and I wish we took them somewhere else.
Our meal was absolutely delicious! My husband commented on the ribs “best he’s ever had”, my tenderloin steak was literally melting in my mouth! Cooked to perfection and so tender! We received a complimentary appetizer because we had to wait a half an hour before we got seated, which was no big deal to us at all...very much appreciated the offer and loved the calamari! Will definitely go back again soon!
We go to Stanley and Seaforts for every special occasion. This was our Valentine’s Day celebration. I ordered salmon well done it came out raw in the center. I sent it back to have it cooked well done it came back raw again. I finally ended up going home without having had my dinner and took it home to eat for the next day and they did give me my meal for free. But you shouldn’t have to send salmon back three times in order to get it correct. Very disappointed. I think will be choosing a different restaurant for our celebrations from now on. Which is really sad because we’ve been going there for years.
Stanley & Seaforts never disappoints! We were a party of 4. They have great social distancing in their dining room. I had the salmon and it was cooked perfectly. My son had their prime rib and loved it. His girlfriend had the fettuccine which she said was the best she had ever had and my husband had the wadi sirloin which was cooked perfectly. We will be back!
Loved everything! Food was on point. Drinks too! Server was excellent
I ordered one steak, I got a completely different steak. Notice that my server was to busy for us, drinks were empty. I won't be returning. There are so many good restaurants that this one won't be missed.
We didn't sit by the windows, but it has a great view. Very pricey, but the food really was good (we both had the prime rib), and the service also was excellent. Only issue we had was hot tea, my wife ordered, but only three choices given, and only one herbal (her least favorite type). Other than that, and a good-sized bill, we enjoyed ourselves....opted out of the rewards program, as we're not sure how often we'll be coming back, between distance and expense. Great for special occasions-
So glad Stanley's is open again! The service was outstanding, as always, and the food was absolutely delicious. The prime rib was perfect and the seafood etouffee (Mardi Gras menu) needs to be added to the regular menu.
This used to be an upscale place to go, but now it’s just overpriced and tired. Even the server’s look like they need to be at Denny’s. Won’t be back, unfortunately.
The food was very good as was the staff. There were four of us there for dinner. We all ordered drinks and 2 were sent back one was iffy and the other just remained on the table. The bartender was not the best that night.
I haven’t given up yet, but if I get another meal like we had, I won’t be back!
The View was to Die for, Rock On Tacoma ! We love this Place
View is spectacular, food is as well. Service was attentive. Crabcakes and Brie were very tasty starts. Never disappoints
The food and service was excellent. My server was very positive, polite, went the extra mile and presented himself in a wonderful manner. My husband and I enjoyed the food.
Choosing to dine at your Restaurant was breathtaking and satisfied my every need from having a romantic and peaceful evening.
Great food with a fantastic view
Stick to the steak and seafood. Other menus items are less memorable.
The Valentine's Dinner served was excellent, steak was tender, just the right seasoning.
Excellent dinner for Valentines weekend- we had the fixed Valentine menu and Eve was perfect!
Service was great! Waitress was as well!!!
