Stanford's - Kruse Way (Lake Oswego)
A classy and comfortable atmosphere surrounds you with warm wood and intimate lighting, and our experienced restaurant team is eager to please and delight you.
Was not started it would be a limited menu and even with that the limited menu had errors
This is the second time that my food has been cold. Eating cold mash potatoes and beef is not good. Please have them correct this as I love this place.
Fantastic service especially for a holiday night. Our waitress was so attentive, we were in and out in less than an hour. Delicious cocktail recommended by the waitress (lavender cosmo?), and the wine was delicious too. Only wish they had some vegan options.
I am sure the food would have tasted better if we weren’t hit with a wall of smoke from the waiter.
Good food and service. Not rushed.
Hair in the burger, yuck! Pretty expensive but everything else was great!
Prime Rib was dry. Green beans undercooked. Service, however was very good.
stanford's is a solid middle class restaurant. good food and reasonable prices.
Eaten there many times. This time was the worst of all. Baked potato was cold. Cod fish was very soft, lacked texture. Other times were much better.
We celebrate every Holiday and Birthday at Stanford's. We are happy there with the food and service.
Cuban sandwich on the daily special sheet was flavorful and packed with pork.
We had not been to Stanford's for a while. Got drinks and meal beginnings....but dinner was slow.... at least 20 minutes!!! Food was OK....
Unfriendly, inadequate service.Very loud, no ambience, steaks were tough and overcooked. My daughter ordered the grilled salmon dinner and was served a 3 oz piece of salmon with a side of rice. The Stanford’s at Jantzen Beach is much better!
Crab & Avocado rolls were great!
From entering to leaving there was good value for the money. Our server, Nathan, brought me the answer to a question I had asked about the delicious sauce on the fish.
The waiter was so accommodating, the fish tacos had fish grilled instead of battered & fried and sauce made it dairy free!! Win win!
Our food came quickly and was delicious. Great lunch..
Always a consistent performance...perfect for a business lunch...especially when you make a reservation to keep yourself on schedule
Brunch selections were good and the food was served hot and as ordered, as usual.
15 or 20 years ago we thought Stanfords was a little special. We haven't been there for a long time so we thought we would try it again. Times have changed, or we have. Disappoiniting. The portions were small, preparation was ordinary, the true value was well below the menu price.
We had a great New Year's Eve dinner. We were seated at the time of our reservation, service was great, as was the food. Guests were "cheerful", since it was New Year's Eve!
New Years dinner with my wife. Food was excellent and service was amazing.
great service, food very good came out quickly and server was very good
Rude Hostess. We had reservations (obviously on Open Table). She made us wait and took other parties without reservations before us. I also had to tell her to be sure to confirm my Open Table reservation. No personality.
Nice people, good food. Kind of expensive.
Excellent food and most of all, Excellent Service!!! Thank you!
Great venue for casual dining. We enjoyed the holiday menu.
For $32, i expected a better meal. Rib eye very thin, less than ½” thick. Sides boring, no flavor, needed extra butter to try to improve.. Clearly not prepared for Christmas Eve. Very disappointed.
It was Christmas Eve. They were crazy busy with a limited menu. It took 45 minutes to get our food and my fish must have sat under a heat lamp for 30 of that 45. It’s just not a good night to go out to dinner. Our waiter was really nice.
Hi. I had a salad and soup which were just fine but the menu seemed pretty sparse. I can’t imagine a child eating a whole steak with all the trimmings, and besides soup and salad, the choices were rather narrow.
Beautiful atmosphere. The waitress was very attentive and friendly. Salmon chowder and fajitas very good. I got chicken Dijon. Just average and the mashed potatoes were just like warm, if that. The waitress offered to get me fresh ones, but I said no. Should t come out of the kitchen that way in the first place.everything else was fine. I will go back and try the happy hour.
Great holiday dining experience. The manager John made us feel welcome. Plenty of menu diversity for the young ones and those on restricted diets.
Great service and as always!
Stanford's is my FAVORITE go to place - whether with family and/or friends - or even alone in the bar.
Jessica, a seasoned server we have had many times - including twice in less than two weeks - is always awesome. She did a GREAT job for the 6 of us.
Looking forward to returning very soon - 5 star rating on everything
Great Happy Hour place!!
Service was excellent
We went for Thanksgiving dinner since we are in the middle of a move. Food was great as was service
Great Turkey dinner for Thanksgiving
It’s our third Thanksgiving dinner! The food was good and large portions. Our server was really good. Our ore dinner drink order was messed up, not sure where the fail was but corrected quickly. Things happen. Only complaint was it was so hot temp wise. Our experience last year was bad, but this year was very good!!!!
This is the second time we had Thanksgiving dinner at Stanford's. Last year was excellent. This year was terrible. The gr. beans were crunchy from under-cooking. The turkey was cold. The stuffing was mushy and the potatoes had disgusting, large lumps. We had 2 children and 5 adults. The 3 yr old that had chicken strips and fries was the only one that enjoyed their meal. Too bad. It's in a great location. Tab before tip was $200. Not worth it.
