Great food, great service and perfect atmosphere for a Celebration.

Daughters 22nd Birthday. Great food with awesome service as always. The difference for us was the table we were seated at, secluded in the back under the stairs. Not noisy, low traffic with great drinks. Perfect evening.

Stables is always fantastic!!!

I have been to Stables at least 5 times and the last two times the food and service not so great. Last time I did reach out to manager and didn't leave a review. she responded to me and gave us a voucher for a free dinner (which I forgot at home) I got the New York Strip and it wasn't seasoned very well and had a charcoal taste. For $54 I expect a really good steak and it is a shame that I felt I have had better steak from Outback. It was our anniversary and we got the bread pudding free but it just wasn't as good as we have had before. The waitress wasn't super friendly. We drive over an hour to come up to Stables but after this meal we decided next year for our anniversary we are going to find a new place to try.

Great atmosphere, awesome food! Worth the experience

The food was amazing! The service was really slow. Our waitress was very nice & knowledgeable about everything, it was just extremely slow. I ordered a martini & it took at least 15 min. To get my drink. We had 7 people, we arrived at 8:30 for our reservations, we left at a little after 11. And we some from a hour away to eat here. We’ve been several other times & it’s been fantastic. Some of the guys ordered some whisky on the rocks, and got charged for the ice. That’s crazy. The waitress did explain that they get another ounce of alcohol vs. ordering it “neat”. I think you should just word it different. Paying $12 for ice seems a little ridiculous.

Stables never fails to impress us! We drive over an hour to get here and it is an amazing experience every time. Even our kids can find something on the menu that they love. We will be back!!

We love dining at Stables. The food is amazing and they have a great wine selection. Friendly and professional staff who make sure you have a great experience.

this is a great place to go for a special occasion but is very expensive . count on about 70 dollars a person. we had a great time and our waiter was superb. My wife was celebrating 80 years and we all were able to give her a great time. You can probably get as good a steak at outback but the ambiance will not be the same. we try to go to stable at least once a summer.

We went to celebrate my birthday and had an amazing dinner and dessert.

Dinner was wonderful, my steak was cook perfectly and the service was outstanding.

The ambience was amazing. They had someone playing piano which was lovely and the food was awesome. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Easily one of the best Steakhouses in the Wabash Valley.

Nathan was phenomenal as a waiter. He made sure we were happy with our food and knew everything on the menu. We will be requesting him the next time we visit.

Second time there, Waitress remembered us from time before down to what we were drinking, (after 2 months) Can't wait to go back. We drive a hour just to get there

Great experience in my hometown. I remember the stables building from my childhood in the 60’s in Terre Haute. Thanks for saving a piece of our shared heritage. Great menu!

Wonderful prime rib! Loved the buffalo cauliflower. Outstanding New York Cheesecake. Wife and son loved the bread pudding.

The entire experience was superb. From the mouthwatering steak, to the tasty cocktails. Our waitress was also a delight. Overall—an amazing experience. We will be back!

Service, which is everything when paying premium prices, was subpar.

Server, William, seemed disinterested and rushed tonight. He speed read the menu, was not familiar with what was at the bar (i had to leave the table and check on bottles i saw myself, but he wasnt aware were there) and nit engaging.

Also, I saw a certain allocated bourbon was opened the night before but the bar could not locate it. This was disappointing bc I really wanted to try this drink.

Enjoyed the food and ambiance. Jess our server was so friendly and helpful. She also told us about the history of the restaurant and the other 2 restaurants affiliated with it. Worthwhile visit.

We had a table along the back wall and the lighting was a bit too dark for us. Used the candle on the table to help read menu and bill.

The lighting was very dark. The dining area was a little cold. Other than that, it was a fabulous 1st visit for our 25th anniversary. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and his recommendations were spot on. We have already been planning a return visit with friend.

The waitress was awesome and the food was amazing. Great experience that everyone should enjoy. If you have not been or have not been in a while, it is definitely worth it.

The service was fantastic. Our server Gretchen was 5 days away from having a child and she didn't miss anything. My steak was the best Ive EVER tasted. The Caesar salad was great and the best Creme Broulee Ive had in a very long time. Thank you for a very memorable evening.

Absolutely loved our experience. We got the stuffed mushrooms which everyone thought were quite tasty. The Ribeye, chopped salad and bread pudding did not disappoint. Everything was wonderful.
