   Holiday dinner was delicious with choice of appetizer, entree & dessert. Busy, bustling place to enjoy the ambiance of the historical building.

   Braised Short Rib was not very good. Ate 4 bites of entire meal. Waitress never asked how things were. Salad portion was very small. Definitely disappointed with meal especially when the cost for two was over $150. Had to stop and grab a sandwich after we left our tour at the Biltmore House.

   For $80 entree it was small and asked for no lobster butter but was served it anyway. Dessert was excellent. Had the chocolate mousse with raspberry drizzle. Gave me 4 oz of steak instead of eight per menu. 6 oz of mashed potato and 4 skinny pieces of broccolini. Rolls served cold, fresh out of package.

   Wonderful meal as always. Tonight we did the prix fix for the Christmas Candlelight tour. Worth every penny and they even packaged our leftovers and kept them for us until we finished the tour. Always the best service and so fun to eat in the stables!

   We had a wonderful dinner at Stable Cafe prior to our nighttime tour of the Biltmore. We allowed for 2 hours between dinner and the tour, which worked out perfectly. We will definitely be back to dine the next time we visit Asheville and the Biltmore.

   Disappointed that linens were not on the tables as in the past. The cold salad was served on a hot plate. Our server was excellent. Seating seems much more compressed than in the past. Tables were too close together. The cheesecake was incredible.

   Amazing food and service with a horse stable as a back drop. Pre fixe menu didn’t disappoint with varied options. We were early for reservations but were able to get in so staff is accommodating when possible which was great.
