The finest dining establishment in Indianapolis. It’s no wondering people flock to the restaurant. Worthy of its reputation. High end quality food at a fair value

Absolutely fantastic dining experience! I’ve eaten at quite a few steak houses and St.Elmos catapulted its way up my list after just one meal. First of all, the ambiance is great. It’s very old school. The shrimp cocktail knocked my socks off and the bread/butter combo was a wonderful compliment. We had a porterhouse and fries. I simply couldn’t believe how good the steak was with each bite. They cut it up for us too which is very nice, as we’re sharing. When the bill came, I was pleasantly surprised by how good of a deal it was. I would 10/10 recommend, especially if you like a good porterhouse and don’t want to pay $120+ for just the steak.

As someone who routinely has access to some of the best beef around in Omaha, Nebraska I have to say our $150 Tomahawk left something to be desired. Was it a good steak? Yes....was it good enough we would return? We will try a different steakhouse on our next visit to Indianapolis. It was an overall good experience with a fun atmosphere, great sides and drinks. The cocktails were strong and tasty! The crab mac and cheese had large portions of crab throughout. The famous shrimp cocktail is what will bring us back next visit. However, we will skip the steakhouse and head to the 1933 Lounge for drinks and shrimp cocktail. Our server Phillip made the whole experience fun and kept us laughing all night.

Our family has never had a bad experience at St. Elmo's. The food is outstanding, atmosphere is one of a kind (even as compared to other high-end steakhouses I have experienced), and the service is the absolute best. If you are visiting Indianapolis, and St. Elmo's is in your price range, you need to make sure you have dinner there at least once. If not, you have missed out on a truly great and memorable experience!

We celebrated our wedding anniversary there this past weekend. Overall, everything was excellent, however, one of the lamb chops. My wife ordered was too charred to eat. We let our waiter know, and he could see it was overcooked, but unfortunately, he did not offer to replace it with a properly cooked lamb chop. Other than this, it was an excellent experience and we will be back.

Amazing food. Just remember if you like your steak make sure to get it a little more done than you’d normally get. I had the 14 oz ribeye and get it medium well and it was perfect. I normally get it medium to medium rare.

Horrible staff Horrible steaks possibly the worst steak house I’ve ever been too. It probably was good back in the day but now the quality of meat I would compare to the steak I got in prison was a little better. Asked for a rare and they over cooked it. I complained and they gave me a blue steak to stfu😂
