You say you have a dress code but you do not. You will seat any slob in flip flops. Your girl at the font is extremeky arrogant. . We were dressed in suits and she texted the girl at the end of the bar to seat us in the basement. We deferred to a better table. We were the only people in the building who ordered 2 bottles of French vino. . Waitress was great but the arrogance is off the charts. They want numbers. Not quality. Steak was mediocre. Pass. Go to a better place in a better city. It sucks.

If anyone is passing through Indianapolis, do yourself a favor and be sure to swing by St Elmo's. Do yourself one better and be sure to ask for Erin as your waitress. She's a wealth of knowledge when it comes to ALL things St Elmo and ALL things hospitality at large. She sets herself apart in the industry as the consummate professional. We are already planning our next visit and will unquestionably insist on dining in her section. Thanks for helping make an unforgettable evening, Erin! Your friends in transit to Boston

At the beginning of our visit waitress was friendly and helpful, but somewhere about the time our steaks came out, her attitude changed to rude and not helpful at all. Our Filets came out with a burnt crusts and rare center, we requested medium. The asparagus was dry and slightly burnt with no flavor. For a $200 meal, it was a waste of money. When the waitress asked our our steaks were, we said not good, she walked away before we could tell her what was wrong.

Traveled to St Elmos 2 hours from home to celebrate our wedding that had just occurred. We had heard great things about the restaurant but ended up being a disappointing wedding dinner. We were sat in the very back of the restaurant in the main dining room (not the bar side) and it was so loud that my wife and I couldn’t hear each other talk, or hear anything the waiter was saying, without having to ask him to repeat himself several times. The drinks we had were good, but the filet mignon we both ordered (medium) was nuke warm. We left feeling disappointed that we had driven that far for a nice dinner, and agreed that our small home town steakhouse would’ve been a much better experience (Auburn, IN) 10/10 recommended. We do not plan on returning to this restaurant.
