Overrated and overpriced. Pretentious server (Mark) seemed indifferent to my son's Anaphylaxis food allergies. Service was slow (especialy since I received a text that I would only have my table for 2 hours). Suggested gratuity on the merchant machine was 27%? Very loud. I expected more for the pricepoint.

I am writing to share candid feedback regarding a disappointing and frankly uncomfortable experience during a recent visit to your restaurant—particularly concerning the wine service. We selected the Far Niente Cabernet Sauvignon to pair with our steaks and clearly communicated our choice to the server. Rather than proceeding with the order, he questioned our selection, asked whether we meant the Pinot Noir or the Cabernet, and insisted that Far Niente produces both. I was even asked to physically point out the wine on the menu, which I did. Despite this, we were served a bottle of EnRoute, a label made by the same winery but distinctly different and not what we ordered—especially not appropriate when we’re pairing with steaks or paying over $250 for the bottle. More concerning than the substitution was the attitude. The server seemed intent on proving a point rather than simply delivering a gracious and professional experience. In a setting where guests are paying a premium, the expectation is hospitality and respect—not confrontation or correction. To be transparent, I hope no guest has to go through a similar experience. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend your restaurant to any of my friends or family based on how we were treated. The night prior, we dined at Commission Row and Vida, and I cannot even begin to express how exceptional the service and experience were at both venues. It was night and day. It’s a shame, as we specifically chose your restaurant because of its reputation and historical significance. But in the restaurant business, treating people right is not optional—it’s fundamental. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope you take this feedback to heart.

The food and beverages, as always, did not disappoint. What truly elevated the evening was the exceptional service. The waitstaff struck the perfect balance between professionalism and personality. Their friendly banter and warm conversation made the experience not only refined but genuinely fun. We felt welcomed and at ease throughout the entire meal. A special shoutout goes to Phillip, who was an absolute standout. His attentiveness, charm, and expert recommendations made our night unforgettable. Phillip is a five-star talent, and we’ll be requesting him on our next visit! Highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable and thoroughly enjoyable fine dining experience.

The baked potato came out cold and the steak that was be be grilled to medium came out rare and cold. The baked potato was replaced as soon as the server was made aware of it but the server never came back to the table to inquire about the steaks. A lot of money for what you receive but very pricing is similar to all steakhouses.
