   I had the worst piece of meat in my whole life. I ordered the end cut of prime rib. It was under cooked ,no taste and disappointing. I told the waiter that I would never order it again. He didn’t care. I was with customers and didn’t want to send it back. I wasted over $80 .

   Wait for the food was just a little too long. The wait staff was good, wasnt a fan of all of the picture frames on the wall. Most of our dinner was very good. Only one item I thought was overpriced was the crab meat macn cheese. Dry aged prime rib was close to mouth watering good.

   Had a post work celebration with the team. All were treated well and the service was excellent. The bone in ribeye has a bit more connective tissue than I would like. Will order something else next time. Overall experience was great and the team enjoyed themselves. Prices have gone up and we all just need to cope and deal with that.

    Very expensive, but pretty good meal. The horseradish was really intense, but we couldn’t stop eating the shrimp cocktail. Filet mignon was good. Mashed potatoes were excellent.

    First timer. What a great dining experience! Historic landmark in Indianapolis. Must have the famous shrimp cocktail. The navy bean soup was delicious. My filet was scrumptious. Service was impeccable!

    Our server Emily was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Everyone went out of their way to make my wife's birthday dinner extra special. Filet was the best my wife has ever had. My porterhouse was excellent. Highly recommend if you're in Indianapolis.

    We have been to this restaurant for special occasions many times. It is 3 hours from our home but was always worth it. My meal was excellent. I had a filet. My husbands meal was not so good. He ordered an aged New York strip steak and most of it was full of grizzle. He helped me eat my steak.

    shrimp cocktail and drinks were great THEN are entres arrived, after a 1 hour wait ...a couple in our group had the pork chops ...they loved it...but now to the steaks ..our waiter suggested we order the beef one degree higher than we normally eat because they Always undercook....WRONG... I always order rare it was medium plus in all cases ..3 steaks ruined ,very dry and not tender ...also cold ..one had the shrimp stuffed with crab ,beautiful presentation but also cold Its clear everything sat ready but not delivered ..I myself had the onion rings ,we're barely cooked and raw with the batter coming off...we also ordered potatoes romanoff, creamed spinach , and sautéed mushrooms....they NEVER showed up...the Narcistic waiter said oh,I'm sorry but to late at that point ....desert was perfect.... RICHARD MOGG open table 5pm on 6/3/23 sad sad dinner ....BTW the waiter talked more about himself than answer our questions

    It wasn’t a totally bad experience. When we walked in everyone was pleasant! Our server was ok.. I noticed how he treated everyone differently from us. I was expecting the food to great, it was bland. I was shocked bc I have been to 1933 and it was a lot better.

    We went in for our 1 year anniversary, and as always, the service was incredible. Our waiter was very well informed with plenty of suggestions, and he was great at checking in on us. The food was remarkable, even better than the last time! The ambiance is irreplaceable. We met some intriguing guests sat next to us and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. We will be back next year!

    Ordered ribeye steak expecting a juicy steak. It was tough and dry. My baked potato was lukewarm. I won’t be going back for awhile or maybe never.

    I have eaten at St Elmo’s many times and it’s been outstanding. They were way off their game on this visit though, poor waitstaff, overcooked steak after waiting over 2 hours for our food. The manager compensated a portion of the meal, which was a nice consolation, but I told him of my disappointment as I know they can do better.

    Made reservations and it worked out perfectly.Got seated right away.Food was AMAZING.Place is so nice and elegant.Our server was Patrick and he was fantastic.He was very helpful and his recommendations were great.Definetly will be back and highly recommend this place.Hoping to get Patrick as our server again.
