It is one of the oldest Indiana restaurants in its original location & has earned a national reputation for its excellent steaks, seafood, chops & professional service. Try our famous St. Elmo Shrimp Cocktail followed by a dry-aged USDA Prime Steak. We happily accommodate special requests; please call the restaurant directly.     Fantastic experience. Steaks were out of this world- delicious! Side dishes were all really good. Service was great. Nice atmosphere.

    It was our first time at St Elmo’s. Everything was perfect. The food was amazing. Our server, Tanner, did an excellent job.

    Good, but very different from our last visit in 1998. The shrimp cocktail was good then, it’s gone thermonuclear now. The service was overt for a higher tip instead of being genuine. I guess a lot can change in 27 yrs, & not always for the better.

    Waiter was Stoic. Service wasn’t bad, but he did nothing to add to the experience which was disappointing because we ate there once before and our server was amazing

    The food was delicous. Service excellent. Steaks top notch. If anything I wish there was an option for slightly smaller salads and shrimp appetizer.

    Excellent shrimp cocktail! Steaks were perfect! The Elmo cola was perfect. It is a great establishment for a celebration. Service was spot on for a steakhouse.
