It is one of the oldest Indiana restaurants in its original location & has earned a national reputation for its excellent steaks, seafood, chops & professional service. Try our famous St. Elmo Shrimp Cocktail followed by a dry-aged USDA Prime Steak. We happily accommodate special requests; please call the restaurant directly. All reservations will be held for 15 minutes. Indy's best steakhouse!

    One of the better dining experiences I’ve had recently. Melissa was incredibly sweet, friendly, and knowledgeable. We loved the way she delivered the drink menu and noted that it also included mocktails. She was fabulous with all the questions I asked about ingredients and overall just so kind. Shrimp cocktail was 11/10. So happy we came based on tons of recommendations!!

    Fabulous dinner and drinks...starting with St. Elmo's famous shrimp cocktail...and on to the tuna and filet mignon entries. Our server Corey had to be the most professional, friendly, and knowledgeable server in memory. Highly recommend!

    In our reservation we mentioned that it was our anniversary. The staff at St Elmo’s seated us near the wine cellar in a nice, quiet, great vibe area of the restaurant away from larger tables and noise. It was great. Our service was fantastic. Food was awesome. Highly recommend if you haven’t been go to St Elmo’s. You will not be disappointed!

    It was Wanda's 72nd birthday. food was great. 1st time with Mark Cox, he seemed a little bit overloaded to stop by to chat. he was good.

    If we could put a 10 for service we would. Spencer was so attentive, informative and professional. And Philip a huge bonus. Best steakhouse in the country!!

    The food came out in a timely manner and was hot and fresh. Our waiter was very courteous and professional. Overall, we couldn't have had a better time.
