   We dined with friends on the patio last night. The heaters kept us perfectly warm and we could see and hear the surf! The meal was tasty! The branzino was unique, as was the sweet potato gnocchi. Our server was friendly and professional, and the pace of the service was perfect. Our only complaint is the incredibly high corkage fee. Each couple brought a memorable bottle of wine to share, and we were SHOCKED to see the $50 PER BOTTLE fee at the end of our meal. Adding $100 to a meal is excessive! We will probably dine elsewhere, where the $35 fee used to seem high. Management should reevaluate this amount.

   Worst service I’ve had in years. Waited for 30 minutes for my reservation before Julian finally said my table was being set (and pointed it out). However he “mistakenly” proceeded to give the table to another party that had just arrived. He then gave us a table that was basically in the men’s room where we waited another half hour for water. He wasn’t mean, just obviously to service. Too bad as it used to be a great place but will never try again.

   Our 3rd time at Splashes and we finally got the table by the window which gives you an unobstructed oceanfront view. It was so beautiful. The service was as impeccable as always. It was the busiest day that I could recommended so unfortunately a couple of our dishes were either overcooked or undercooked. They corrected them right away and the replacements were perfect. I think it was because of the largest crowd that showed up that day and the kitchen was overwhelmed. Nonetheless, we will still come back for sure.

   Sitting on the patio at Splashes hearing the crashing waves and watching the surfers catch the last waves of the day is always a wonderful experience. We are so pleased with the remodeling of Surf and Sand Resort. The light color palette and opening up the main lobby to a gorgeous ocean view were perfect changes. The staff is unparalleled in their friendly, professional service. Our meals were excellent as well.

   Great experience. Food was excellent and service the same. Highly recommend, but do keep in mind it is expensive but worth the value.

   Anniversary dinner shout out to Splashes… Excellent evening! Patrick took care of us at the table… Staff was friendly and prompt/attentive. View is fantastic, pleasant to be inside with a glass wall, but still able to smell the ocean and hear the waves crashing. Risotto and Halibut were very tasty (we shared - that amount was perfect for each of us). Roasted cauliflower appetizer was excellent! Well appreciated small dessert to in the evening while the sun was setting.  Definitely recommend. They’ve done many upgrades since our last visit and the place overall looks fantastic!
