We made a reservation on open table. When we walked in we were greeted by friendly hostess who promptly seated us. Our waitress came almost immediately and took our drink order followed immediately by very nice bus guy who brought us water and table settings. He had a big smile and welcomed us to the restaurant it was delightful. Drinks came food was ordered. I was going to get seafood then, read the description for the hamburger. I asked the waitress if she would recommend it and she said if you have hamburger head you need to have this hamburger, it’s a great one. She was right, it was the best burger I think I’ve had anywhere! Cooked perfect medium and the fries were as good as the burger. I shared it with my husband and my son. My husband had the squid ink pasta and a bowl of clam chowder that he said was pretty much the best he’s ever had. My kid was the most expensive meal, fresh Salmon but it came with vegetables and I’ll kinds of other things that he gobbled and said it was delicious. For dessert we split the chocolate board OMG! Great with red wine and the perfect amount for the three of us to nosh in absolutely decadent! You must have it!

Here’s the best part, my husband left his keys sitting on the table. Off to the symphony. After the performance ended, he realized that he had left them at the restaurant and was a bit panicked. I turned on my phone as we exited the concert hall and lo and behold there was a message from the hostess at South Park, letting us know that someone in our party perhaps had left Keys at the restaurant and they would hold them for us!

Over all a wonderful experience. I would recommend South Park, for food, wait staff, and excellent employees and service. I would recommend open table because it’s easy and amazing.

First time to visit this restaurant and can't wait to go back. We started with oysters, manila clams, and generous pours of cava. Lobster rolls followed, as well as clam chowder, cheese board, and incredibly delicious brussel sprouts and a beet salad. We finished with the chocolate board and gelato. Great food, attentive service and nice atmosphere.

The service was awesome. Our waitress was very helpful and courteous. Our appetizer (Brussels sprouts) were delicious. I would order it again. Our main meals were mediocre (tuna and salmon) and we would not order them again. Based on the price, we expected better tasting meals.

the service was very slow. I realize it was Literary Arts that evening, and most of the restaurants in the area seem to not have a good handle on staff and service for those busy evenings, but it would be nice to find a spot like SP that could be counted on. I will say that even though service was slow, when I did ask our server for a 2nd glass of wine, only if it could come quickly, he did respond positively and brought the glass right away.
The Caesar salad really needs to be evaluated. This salad is absolutely dismal for the price that is charged. I’m there is nothing special - grated Parmesan, instead of shaved, 2 croutons, no special flavor - disappointing.

The facility is very nice and most tables are in good locations. We happened to be next to a door into the kitchen area and a staff stand area, so the staff traffic was heavy. You should ask for a different table and you will have an excellent ambiance. The food was very good -- fresh, good presentation and flavors.

Seafood prepared with care. Pzazz. But it's always about fresh, local and healthy

We were told the crab was fresh, which was untrue. The crab had been previously frozen and tasted horrible. The salmon was also NOT fresh tasting. Our server was nice enough, but told us the crab was fresh. When we told him it certainly wasn't fresh, but had been frozen and tasted horrible, he claimed that his chef must have made a mistake by telling him it was fresh. Seriously???? Sadly, they probably get away with this with some patrons. Our server did remove the charges from our bill, but they still collected 120.00 for a very mediocre bottle of wine. Will NEVER return.

Our server Steven was exceptional, great wine recommendation, we ordered several small plates, all were outstanding with the exception of only one which was ok, the Crab Salad. We shared our feedback with Steven who was very receptive and shared our feedback with the chef. Steven deducted for that plate which was not necessary as it wasn't terrible, it just wasn't as great as the others. Grits & Shrimp, Salmon Tartare, Foie Gras were all amazing!!!
