The food wasn’t good at all and the service was just okay. All the employees mostly stood around talking to each other. It was an okay experience. Not terrible but definitely would never go back. (There was no music when we were there. That might’ve improved the overall experience.)

Went on a Friday with live music. The service was pretty good given the only waiter in my area was caring for 10+ tables. The food was very basic. It lacked any significant flavor. Brussel sprouts appetizer was good. It was disappointing because the menu looked good on paper. Cocktails were B minus

Went there around Valentine’s and was a bit disappointed that they were offering a limited menu. My wife and I were looking forward to trying several items we saw on the online menu. The cocktails were awesome though. We will try it again though.

Brussels sprouts appetizer was to die for. Highly recommend. Sweet potato jar for dessert was also quite good. One of my favorite date spots in the city.

Beyond excellent! My anniversary was made better by this amazing restaurant my braised lamb had a little too much salt for my liking, but everything else made up for it!

I don't often get excited about a menu, but South on Main has a variety of unique offerings for those who enjoy trying something new. I travel almost weekly for work and eat all over the world. We started with two of the daily dips - ham and chicken spread on house-made or at least house-doctored spicy crackers. Both are very good but those who can't handle spice should inquire on the heat level. I had the rabbit with house-made pasta; it was yummy ("tastes like chicken"). Other guests at the table tried the chicken pot au feu and the snapper, all satisfying. The serving sizes were perfect for me, and smaller than expected, given the premium prices. SoM has a hip, interesting vibe and is recommended by foodies.

We ordered the Bridge Club dip, Braised Lamb, Rabbit Ragu, Snapper, and a chocoloate bread puddin for dessert. It was all very good.
