The service, setting and noise was exactly what we've been seeking for a light, intimate Friday light repast and early evening. The wine and particularly the waiter were excellent and all one could ask for. The food, however, was way below par for a well regarded national facility such as Marriott. It was over cooked, burned and way overpriced. The food ruined what should have been a "come back frequently" establishment. Sadly, we won't be.
We went for their Mother’s Day Brunch Buffet. We took our 14 and 11 year old kids as well. Total bill was almost $300 and the food was nowhere near worth the price. Overheard multiple people asking why they didn’t have pancakes, waffles, French toast or anything similar. My youngest had almost nothing to eat. My oldest was charged the same price as those who were sipping bottomless mimosas. And then they auto charged us a large party gratuity for a party of four. On top of that, the hotel might have had a sewage issue because the place smelled terrible on entry. Gigantic disappointment.
Not impressed AT ALL! We went for Easter brunch. Walked in the door to a strange foul odor. We were seated at a large table which was nice but honestly the table had seen it’s fair share of use and had several scratches and divots throughout the tabletop which made it look dirty. The chairs were dirty with food we had to brush off. The glasses were dirty with water stains etc. The brunch was a 3 meat carving station, an omelet station and some pastries and a dinner roll. You could order a salad and a choice of 4 sides mostly potato’s. We ordered hash browns which were dry and inedible, salad , and an omelet. Very unimpressive for the $58.00 per person price tag. 3 people with gratuity was $215.00! Save your money and go elsewhere to eat, this is overpriced and shabby.
It was not good. The food wasn't good. Our waiter was great but that was the only thing. Totally not worth the money.
Great place to stop in for a quiet dinner. Food was geeat and service was very friendly!
We came to Sonoma'z Wine Bar & Grill with reservations for Valentine's day. They had a special romance menu that we could pick from various items for 4 course. The food was fantastic. Service was great and we felt that we were attended to on a high level, without any pushy people to try and get us out of the door.
The only reason I might give it less then 5 stars is the second course Caesar salad was wilted. I did not make a difference in our really nice night though. The food was really great!!!
Sonoma'z Wine Bar & Grill fell a bit short of my expectations. The food presentations was impressive, the appetizers were fine. The main courses looked good, but my steak was undercooked, (I requested medium rare, it was almost blue). My wife tried their egg plant special that evening, she said it OK, but underwhelmed. I think this place is worth another try for us, but with the many other great choices out there, it may be a while.
Restaurant said they weren’t using open table and said they are not honoring reservations. Menu was completely different from what was listed. We decided not to stay.
The server was amazing, nice and polite and very efficient in taking our order, and cleaning up after each course. The food was delicious and the presentation was great.
The overall experience was delightful, and relaxing and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to family and friends.
Excellent, attentive service. Quiet, clean atmosphere. Followed COVID precautions. Very welcoming of our children.
Thank you for your reply, Melissa. We appreciate your feedback and hope to see you again soon!
Everything was 5 star rating except for one thing. The reason for the low rating is because, upon entering the bar area, it was very crowded and no one had masks on, no one was social distancing. The staff had masks on and out of maybe 20-25 customers, only 3-5 had masks on. I was appalled. When we asked our server about it, he just said "yeah, it's a debacle". I'm just glad we were sitting in the dingin room which was a safe environment. The bar area was not.
I was trying to reserve a Valentines dinner and the screen on the open table app didn't help me sort out that this is a hotel lobby restaurant in a local Marriott in the middle of office buildings . It is perfectly fine for a hotel restaurant, but not what I had in mind as a place to drop $120 on a romantic dinner.
Thank you for giving us a chance to make your valentines day special! I am sorry if the restaurant was not quite what you were envisioning. Thank you for the comment about our food i will forward the feedback to our culinary team! We hope you will come see us again soon! -Chris Faessen Restaurant General Manager
We really enjoyed the food and the young man assisting us at the bar was very helpful with selections. No one greeted us for a long time. Didn’t quite know if we should sit down or leave. When I told them we had reservations via Open Table they didn’t acknowledge that.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review! I am glad to hear our bartender was helpful with drink and food selections! I do apologize for the late response in getting your party seated... We look forward to seeing you again! -Chris Faessen Restaurant General Manager
I will not return or take friends to this restaurant. We had reservations for 5 for a week for breakfast at 8:30 am. We wanted to order off the menu but were told the kitchen was way behind. So instead we all got the $23 buffet. It took forever to get omelets for 5 people made so we didn't get to eat together. The gentleman making the omelets only had 2 pans going, was by himself, and didn't understand English very well so was hard to communicate with. The omelets were overcooked. We wanted salsa for our eggs and all they had was salsa verde. I was going to ask our waitress for mild tomato salsa but we never saw her while we were eating. The potatoes were dry and the chicken sausage was too spicy without being labeled such. We all felt we paid way too much for our meal and we were disappointed in the service. Thre should have been enough wait staff and kitchen staff ro handle usually busy Sat am crowd.
I like going to Sonoma'z restaurant on a Friday night when I am tired and want comfort food. The burger and fries are so so good. The restaurant is quiet and I like the fireplace.
We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed our space and comfort food! We have a variety of new menu offerings that are available right now as well as a new happy hour food menu that will be rolling out very soon! We hope to see you again soon!
As guests at the Marriott Park Meadows hotel, Sonoma'z is conveniently located off the lobby. Great lunch and dinner menu. Service was outstanding including wine and menu recommendations. Aaron was our server - very enjoyable.

My friend and I both ordered a large chicken and it was excellent! Lots of chicken, Cochise, and delicious candied walnuts. The service was excellent and the ambience also very nice.
Thank you so much for the positive review! We are very glad you enjoyed our chicken dish! We hope to see you again soon. -Christopher Faessen Restaurant General Manager
Lovely setting, great server and other staff...food.. not so much.
We had another great meal at this restaurant and the service was fantastic! My salmon was delicious and my husband’s lamb was really yummy too. Happy customers! We will be back!
Pleasant restaurant with good food. Great place to relax, have a quite lunch or dinner or drink.
We had a group of 7 and our waitress rarely came to our table and was not friendly. Pretty dissapointed. Visit was on 6/22 9:30am plaid shirt, brown hair and glasses.
The Mothers day brunch was just okay. There were several dishes that were in containers that we thought were heated but in fact they were not. Warm food was brought out and put in but soon got cold. A large skillet of fried potatoes was very cold. Omelet guy could only cook two at a time and was very slow but the omelet was good. Prime rib was the best part but again the potatoes were only warm. The ham was dry but had a great sauce. Overall it was just okay and not as good as it has been in the past.
Brunch was a bit limited and nothing stood out as being great. Very generic offering without much creativity. Overpriced for the experience
The. Eat soups around and I really like soup.
Made a Reservation
Waited 10 mins in a line to be seated only for a rude women employee to turn us away. She told us they will not be seating anymore table because the kitchen is backed up!
It was a good place worth a nice drink menu

Somewhat disappointed for the Christmas Day meal. Was used to having the full menu with roast etc and instead had a breakfast type menu. Wish that full menu be back as most of the other customers were wondering why the menu was different
Take the free breakfast over Marriott points.
Thank you for your positive review! The breakfast buffet is delicious and we are glad you experienced it! Hope to see you again soon! Danielle Palko Sonoma'z Management
Really nice buffet for our annual office Christmas breakfast.
First meal while visiting Denver down in Lone Tree. A quiet Friday night but sat at the bar counter and the male bartender was really great. Things picked up as it got later, food was ok but not amazing. The tortilla soup had great flavor but was not hot, mildly above warm temp. Would recommend for a spot to have drinks
Good service with great people and tasty food. The hotel location makes it very nice and it's a place where you can actually hold a conversation.
Perhaps a step up over the traditional hotel restaurant, but nothing spectacular.
I went for lunch with a Groupon and really enjoyed it. Our server, Ian, took great care of us. Although it’s quiet for lunch, I assume dinner is busier.
Food & service was excellent! Steak was tender with great flavor. The salad was great. Desert was yummy, had the mixed berry cobblers. Will definitely go back.
We came in for lunch on Saturday using a Groupon. The server was very nice and attentive. We were promptly seated as there weren't many diners.
Our Groupon was $30 worth of food for lunch, not to be applied to alcohol. I thought it might be challenge to spend that much on lunch alone. Turns out the prices are a little high for what you get, so it was not a challenge after all. I ordered a cup of soup of the day which was potato and cheese. It had decent flavor but I think it came from a can.
For lunch I ordered the Margarita Flat Bread pizza. It was awful. The bread was hard, the cheese wasn't completely melted and there was no flavor. I thought Margarita should have basil, but not on this one unless they just forgot it. I ate one piece and had no desire to eat any more. My man ordered the Angus Burger. He said it was just ok. He said it was definitely frozen patty for the burger and the fries were thin, frozen fries, nothing special. So needless to say we don't have any plans to return.
Went for brunch on a Sunday . Told not serving breakfast menu after 10:30, but lunch menu didn’t start til 11. Bad buffet option and expensive. Nice patio. Service was mediocre.
They could improve the ambiance of the patio and the service was friendly but slow. Seared Ahi appetizer was good as was the tortilla soup.
