   The chef at Sonoma is amazing. Our dishes were prepared perfectly - such attention to detail, fresh ingredients and care went into everything we were served. The ambiance is lovely, whether outside on the large beautifully landscaped patio or inside the elegant restaurant. The prices are quite reasonable for an upscale fine dining restaurant. We highly recommend!!

   Unfortunately, we found the food to be unexceptional for the money. The service was poor. We were the only diners left in the restaurant but the server forgot items and we had to wait for her to appear to remind her we still had not received them. She appeared to be busy doing other things. On the positive side, the ambience was nice, and the cocktails were good.

   Service not what I expected. Asked for a bottle of wine, waiter set bottle and glasses on table and walked away, i wound up opening and pouring. My wife order Filet Mignon and got Steak tips w/ bourbon blueberries. When I brought this to the waiters attention he argued that was the Filet Mignon. Both my wife's and my steak were not done as requested. When I made reservations I stated it was our Anniversary, nothing was done by Sonoma. We have eaten there in the past, but this was a very bad experience, will never go back.

   This place has the best baklava I’ve ever had in my life. At the moment the chef is doing a thrilling orange water version with cardamom and spice. I wish I could order a whole tray of it! The rest of the experience was delightful. Plump tender scallops, a rich creamy Caesar Salad, and truffle fries crisp enough to take back home; I came in from out of town but I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in this city.

   The Sonoma restaurant reopened for dinner. It is a great place to have dinner when staying at the Beechwood Hotel. The food was great, and the service was excellent

   It was empty at 6pm on a Friday night... that should have been our sign! We have a lot of dietary restrictions, and the waitress honestly didn't know the difference between a gluten allergy & a dairy allergy. YIKES. The chef came out to talk with us, but had to significantly modify dishes to fit our needs. The fries were clearly frozen, and veggies lacked luster. But the meats were superbly cooked and delicious. Summary: Great chef at an empty restaurant= not worth the HUGE price tag.

    Hard working staff got the job done perfectly even without enough hands to help. Kitchen turned out excellent food in timely fashion. We had seafood dishes. Prepared perfectly. Minor note the slaw was too bitter.
