The food was delicious. The service was ok. I’d definitely go back. The only little feedback is it felt like we had to “chase” our server a little. He was friendly and personable but it should be a best practice of… when you visit one table to just look around to your other ones in case they needed anything. We had to keep looking at him I’m hopes he would look at us and he didn’t.
We very much enjoyed our dinner at Sobys…great cocktails and food. Will definitely go back when next in Greenville. Tony was a fabulous waiter!
Oldest friend/God mother of my daughter was in for the weekend to help my daughter wedding dress shop!!!
Great brunch. Server did a nice job - very professional.
Our food was delicious and our server Kyle was outstanding!!
Had a wonderful anniversary dinner here. Service, food and ambiance were all delightful! Our waitress, Tyson, was friendly and attentive. We will definitely go back when in the Greenville area! Fried chicken and the shrimp and grits were delicious, topped off with chocolate cake and banana cream pie for a perfect ending!
Fabulous dinner on the patio. Superior food and great service. Can’t wait to returns
Great restaurant in downtown Greenville. Incredible wine list and southern fare. We started with the delicious fried green tomatoes. I had the fried chicken-loved. Another person had the crab cakes and she raved. Good service especially when restaurant service these days is iffy.
Always a pleasure to dine at Soby’s. Our server, Soup, always makes the experience ‘lively.’ Two observations—but not criticisms—are that the potatoes and vegetables could have been hotter when served, and the portions seemed smaller than what I recall from previous visits. The pork tenderloin was exquisite, tasty as always.
Great! Our server was one of the best we have had!
Great food, great atmosphere. This was our first restaurant that we tried in our first trip to Greenville. It did not disappoint!
We shared a bowl of She-Crab soup which was heavy on the cream. The shrimp and grits and short ribs were fantastic, but the fried chicken had a honey glaze that had gotten all over both side dishes. The creme brulee and peach crisp left a bit to be desired.
If you want to support an amazing server during the week, ask for Amanda!
We’ve been going to Sobys since they opened. Only complaint was the Peach Crisp dessert. There was no crisp whatsoever and peaches were slippery like canned peaches. It tasted like peaches and ice cream. Server did not ask how we liked it or we would have told her.
Very nice staff and food came out in a timely manner. Also the crab cakes and pan roasted Corvina were amazing. Definitely will come back again!
The food was amazing and the service was top notch.
Soby's is a must!!! Love everything the food, environment and staff.
Always great food and service! Great location, across from Peace Ce.nter
Great food, extensive wine list and great service!
Outstanding food and atmosphere.
Parking was not easy but thst is part of being in Greenville South Carolina
Great local restaurant good food, reasonably priced place the locals go.
I wish I could remember our servers name, she was amazing and her service was the best I’ve had and a very long time!
She was very knowledgeable about the wine list and the food!
I will most definitely recommend Sony‘s to friends and family!
Great menu and superb service. Very well done amidst extremely busy 40th Fall for Greenville for Greenville celebration!
The food was absolutely wonderful and the restaurant itself was beautiful! The server was very friendly and attentive.
Really great meal and outdoor ambiance. Food & drink were delicious and the hostess was very accommodating to our early arrival and seating us. Service was a bit harried...in fits too aggressive and then nowhere to be found. In all, recommended for sure
Our server was fine, but the wait for the food was too long. The yogurt parfait was very disappointing. Pre-made and certainly not a parfait. The manager apologized for everything and gave us a gift card for $25 to compensate.
Crowd from Fall for Greenville had the staff hopping. They handled it well. Couldn’t get our traditional booth due to folks lingering a bit longer than normal. Ended up at the base of the stairs to the upper level. Pretty high traffic area. We could have waited for a booth to open up but had tickets to the Peace Center. Great food and service all well prepared and presented. Still our favorite spot.
Always a pleasure. First time it’s ever happened to me at Soby’s (I am and will continue being a loyal customer) - I ordered 2 berry salads as an appetizer for myself and my guest and they arrived looking very unequal. Mine had 2 strawberry half’s and my guest had 10. Additionally, the salads were different sizes. We just laughed about it (it’s really no problem) but not the norm at Soby’s. It was Saturday night and extremely busy so we didn’t bring it to anyone’s attention (staff was busy enough already). Everything else was excellent as always.
As always. Sobys delivers. Brian is the best!
The swordfish was thick, moist, perfectly complimented. We also had the crab cakes which continue to be amongst the best on the planet. Plus the service was awesome.
Brunch was fantastic! We eat at Soby’s every time we come to Greenville, it never disappoints.
