Soby’s New South Cuisine is an eclectic blend of contemporary continental cuisine infused with traditional Southern ingredients, transforming old favorites into something fresh and new. The restaurant is located in the heart of downtown Greenville, in a renovated cotton mill built in the 1800s. The atmosphere is warm and energetic and the staff is well-trained to provide a fantastic dining experience for all of our guests. In addition, the wine list offers more than 3,100 selections and an inventory of 15,500 selections. The restaurant is a Wine Spectator Magazine award-winner regular.

Would not order the Smoked salmon appetizer again, it was served with pieces of toasted bread that were too hard to chew. We were expecting thin sliced salmon but it was small cubed pieces that were difficult to pick up. Wine list was excellent and service was very attentive.

                                                      This is one of our favorite restaurants in Greenville. The food and service are always amazing. The atmosphere is great for a night out. Soby’s nevr disappoints!!!

                                                      The fried chicken, crab cakes, chopped salad, and carrot cake were delicious. The salted caramel ice cream that accompanied the carrot cake is house-made and the best we’ve ever tasted. Loved the cocktails, high ceilings, and all the brick. We sat upstairs which also provided a view of the cool clock on the street corner.
