Smith's of Wapping is located on the River Thames with fantastic views of Tower Bridge and The Shard.
Smith's, famous for fish, was initially established in 1958 and today offers fine dining facilities.

We are now open from 12pm until 230pm for lunch and 5.30pm until 11pm (last seating time is 9pm) on Monday to Thursday.

Friday dinner starts at 6pm until 11pm (last seating is 9.30pm).

Saturday dinner starts at 5.30pm until 11pm (last seating is 945pm)

On Sundays we are open from 12pm until 3.30pm for Lunch
And 6pm until 10pm (last seating time 8.30pm) for Dinner.

As always, beautifully fresh, subtle food from a menu so good that it’s almost impossible to decide which to have. Wonderful responsive service with humour, understanding and expertise. The only slight downside on a very busy Saturday evening was the noise level from so many guests having a great time. Made conversation a little difficult. WE will be back soon. Thank you.

The food was really good! Everything ordered was delightful. The service was exceptional, real attention to detail and very friendly. Staff made us feel like it was a pleasure to serve us. We had received many recommendations about the restaurant and it surpassed all of them. I’m only sorry we hadn’t gone sooner. A really lovely date night 😍

A very busy restaurant but service never misses a beat - professional and efficiently tuned-in without imposing on the occasion. Food is always great quality and well presented. The tables are generously positioned to afford dining privacy and the distinctive Thames/Tower Bridge view adds to the general ambience.

Thank you so much for looking after our party of 6persons. We were made to feel very special as was the food. It was a belated 60th birthday lunch for a very dear friend. As always, everything was perfect… Demetrius, and Ali were on form and didn’t miss a thing. Regards, Kevin, Dawn, Peter, Nicole, Bruce and Jude…. Cheers guys and we’ll see you again on 27th 👍👍

We had an excellent 3-course lunch with attentive service. Prior study of the extensive menu would have been beneficial. The guest wine was good. Some exuberant fellow diners occasionally made conversation difficult.

The restaurant was very noisy with loud unnecessary music and some very noisy patrons. The staff were lovely and said that we could ask for a quieter table next time but unlikely to go back unless they change the music!

We had a super time celebrating a family birthday. We loved the options on the set menu. We enjoyed a wonderful view of Tower Bridge and The Shard which were specially illuminated in red, white and blue for VE Day celebrations. The staff were attentive without interrupting our conversations.

My first visit to the Wapping venue (having been to the Ongar venue a fair few times in the past) and it was fabulous. Not so keen int he ipad menu - 2 iPads lost battery and we couldn’t work out how to transition between set menus, a la carte and the drinks menu. But the food was just lovely as was the service and atmosphere.
