Smith’s Bar & Grill is nestled in Paddington, Central London, it is the first place you see when you walk under the bypass behind Paddington Station.

Known for its high ceilings and almost full-length windows, the natural light in Smith’s is just as nourishing and wholesome as the comfortable furnishings and exquisite selection of food and drink that we serve.

The venue is split into the areas:
• Main Restaurant
• Main Bar & Lounge Area
• Outdoor Terrace Canal-side


Smith’s is an ideal venue for weddings, on-location filming, major launch events, and multi-stage music and entertainment events.
The whole venue can comfortably accommodate up to 200 people for a sit-down dinner and up to 400 standing. Its proximity to Paddington Station (50 yards from the Hammersmith & City Underground entrance) makes it quick to get to for those coming from out of town.

    Had table in the corner outside - we were forgotten about I think - our bread starter came after our main meal even though olives and butter were before - we had to ask where the bread was - no apology. Wasn’t offered desert menu or any check ins throughout our meal. Restaurant was very busy but not many staff so think that was the issue. Food was very good however

    We enjoyed the atmosphere and the food but unfortunately the service wasn't great. The waiter had no knowledge of the cocktails available and we had to choose wine instead, then I approached the bar to verify with the barman about my request which was PIMM's and the barman was able to make it for us. We also ordered a cheese board and the waiter didn't put it in our order, then the bill was wrong as the drinks weren't updated to PIMMs instead the prior wine which we cancelled. I didn't pay for the service because it wasn't what we expected. It's the first time I refuse to pay for service in a restaurant, but I was very disappointed. The place was very pleasant and the music was great. I hope that they train better the waiter, he didn't seem to know much of it. I've been a waitress myself and if I didn't know something I would ask my colleagues, specially in a place like Smith's Bar.

    What a location! The view from the terrace is outstanding. There is also a great bar, excellent staff, a good cocktail menu (unbelievably cheap as well), a good food menu and high quality, delicious food. We went three times in a week.
