Sadly the grill on the market closed a couple of weeks ago but was still taking bookings via OpenTable ...! It’s now been sorted, but can really recommend Hix on the opposite side of the market as an alternative ..!!

Lovely venue. Great bar area located at the front for drinks and nibbles (with seating) and restaurant at the back..secluded, personal and intimate. Staff was highly attentive, food was great in delivery, presentation and portion size. Really pleasant dining experience.

Mussels were the hit of the day, though wish there had been more sauce to mop up at the end. Cocktails were fab for happy hour. Steak was perfect. Am hurrying back ASAP. Go early if you want oysters, they had practically sold out by 6pm on Saturday. So we didn’t get to try them.

This was the second time I have eaten here and again enjoyed a very good meal. The service was excellent and with the 40% deal off the a la carte menu meant we got very good value for good quality food. We will definitely return here again.

Food was good unfortunately the whole meal was let down by the service. The waiting staff kept using a large party as an excuse to why our food was delayed (even though that wasn't). The waiter wasn't attentive and literally just kept mentioning the party. We weren't offered dessert and we left waiting for 45 minutes to which I had to get the bill. I spoke to the head waiter and he could get no waiter to finish the bill. I'm not going back.
