Great view and some very good appetizers but main dishes seemed over priced for the quality of the food.
Staff was amazing, food incredible, and the view is breathtaking!
Very nice view. Food was wonderful and service amazing!
Loved the view, food and service
It ambiance and scenery is beautiful but I found the food to be extremely bland. Go for the view, not the food
The view was amazing! Our waiter was great! He made us feel welcome.
The food was spectacular with a unique twist on the classics! From the Brussel Sprouts and Corn Brûlée to the steak it was all deliciously prepared! The view only adds to the special ambience of this unique restaurant! Highly recommend you try it, you won't be disappointed!
This was a terrific and unexpected experience. We found it as we arrived in Indianapolis and were so pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed it. The views were astounding - especially of the Soldiers and Sailors monument, which we were able to look up and read the fascinating history (not to be missed!). Our server was amazing and the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend it.
The food and service was good overall. Our main issue was getting into the restaurant. They need to have better instructions of how to enter into the building. The doors to entrance are locked and the security guard inside was no help to us. It was a frustrating experience and we noticed the same thing was happening to more guests as we were leaving the restaurant. I would recommend this would somehow be changed and clearer instructions or signage be added.
The waitress was wonderful, we were very confused on the “service charge”. We are billed a service charge and this was for staff. When we get our pay slip it stated that the service charge is not for the tip. So what was the service charge for, we thought maybe the view?
Easter Brunch was amazing !
My family and I came to the Skyline Club for Easter brunch. We absolutely love to try new restaurants and this was our first time here. The restaurant is on the 36th floor of The One America Building in Indianapolis, and the views are spectacular, to say the least!
The brunch was served buffet style, each station had their own attendees, it was very clean, quick and offered a variety of food choices, ranging from scrambled eggs, a carving station, to ice cream and cake. My ten year old can be a picky eater, and let me tell you, he LOVED the variety and wide range of food choices. I was ecstatic that both adults and children had a good amount of choices.
The service at the stations was very good, and we also had a server at our dining table that made sure that we had drinks and constant silverware. The only thing that bothered me about the restaurant was that it was extremely hot, but it was to be expected from the massive amount of windows, it’s a trade off for the view! I do think that when we return, we will opt to come in the evening instead, beating the heat and being able to see that gorgeous view at night. Overall, very great restaurant and will return!
Lol it’s like we paid for the view. The food was so bland and just plain!!! It’s like they cook with no seasoning!!! Imagine eating scallops with no salt on it!!! Our children’s spaghetti and meatballs were like frozen sauce and very dry meatballs!!! There was no one there on a Saturday night!!! Will not come back ever!!!
It was a beautiful view of the downtown skyline! The food was great and so was the staff.
Food was outstanding...View was outstanding. I was very happy we were able to pick our own window seat.
Service was not very good.
1. It was our first time there and I made that known on my reservation, as well as upon arrival.
2. Brought us rolls and didn't explain what the items were with the rolls...it was a vinaigrette, butter, and some green things.
3. I only chose Skyline for the view and the Wagyu Tomahawk. I have only had that one other place, Prime 47. When I asked to have the 35 Oz steak prepared two different ways the server said he didn't think they could prepare the steak two ways as it is only one steak. I assured him that Prime 47 had no problem accommodating the 35 Oz steak two ways. The server said he would ask. Ended up accommodating us, but apparently the server needs better Training.
4. The tip was i.uded in the bill and server didn't communicate this to us as if he was trying to take advantage of knowing it was our first time. That wasn't very professional. That should have been communicated to us so we can decide if the service was good enough to receive a bigger percentage.
Best place to eat in Indianapolis. The view is amazing and made the night extra special!
Restaurant is beautiful, food was amazing, staff was incredible
Food came out cold and it took 30 minutes AFTER our appetizers came out to get our dinner.
It was exceptional in all areas. Francesco took great care of us!!
The view was great. Our server was great however the food took forever to come out and it took awhile to get our checks when we were ready. It seemed like a new restaurant still trying to work out some kinks.
Finding the door to get into the building was a nightmare and security was overkill to sign in. There was no signage showing the direction to the elevators. Not a warm welcoming.
This was an amazing evening and experience! Food, view, service, and atmosphere were perfect. We plan to go back soon!
The Skyline Club is the ultimate dining experience. The service, food, and drinks are top notch. It is pricey so not some place most would go too often. My husband and I went for Valentine's Day and spent $300. That did include some very good cocktails.
Wife and I have a Valentine's Day dinner here. Food was just ok for booshey/up scale type food. I have the sea bass and the rice was undercooked with some hard pieces. My wife had the beef medallion tenderlion which she ordered medium rare but it was done more medium. The service was good along with the ambience which I guess it what you are paying for here. I honestly think it was too much money for what you get but we wanted to say we've been here. Probably will never go back.
Food was cold. Had better meals at Applebee’s. So disappointed.
My husband and I decided to dine here for Valentine’s Day. There was a VERY limited Valentine’s Day menu that we were forced to select from. The portions were very small and the food was over all just okay, not great. I would have preferred to spend my at another restaurant for the same price. Beautiful view but that’s the only true benefit of dining here, in my experience.
Very impressed with the skyline club! Loved the Valentine’s Day menu and the service was 10/10. Live music set the ambiance and made the holiday perfect!
Our dinner was great and the wine pairings were the perfect compliment! And the views were amazing! My only suggestion would be to tell guests when you confirm the reservation which entrance on the main floor to use. We would have parked much closer to the door had we known - especially given the 10 degree weather.
Food was delicious however meat was over cooked. Also food was presented twice cold.
I’ve seen Admin and Service Fees for banquet events. Was shocked to see them on a restaurant check. It adds A LOT to the bill.
The portions were very small for the price. It also had very little flavor. Two dollar charge to open a beer seriously. And to automatically charge 16%for a party of 2 what a jojey. I'm usually a pretty generous tipper 25-30% but this just rubbed me the wrong way. I will never be back or recommend the Skyline Club
Such a great view and atmosphere! The remodel makes it feel like a whole new restaurant.
Best view when dining that I've found in Indy. Food is pretty darn good as well. We've been several times recently and the restaurant is very consistent with service, food and beverage quality. The menu is a little limited but that has not been an issue for us.
It was lovely! The food and cocktails were amazing! The service was spot on! The ambience and view were spectacular! Brought our 8 year old daughter to see the views, unfortunately it was snowing but still worthy! They even had a kids menu!
36th floor with a spectacular view of Monument Circle and somehow, that became an afterthought. The food, without question, stole the show. If you are reading this, the restaurant is usually available to members only. I’m not sure how long it’ll be open to the public, so take advantage of this while you can.
View – Best in the city
Atmosphere – Elegant, up to date
Service – Topnotch, start to finish. Chef came out, GM checked on us and our waitress was fantastic
Drinks – Started with champaign and then each had a cocktail –a Manhattan and my wife enjoyed a Peach Cosmo
FOOD – Skyline Brussels Sprouts, Pan Seared Sea Scallops, Asian Grilled Lamb Chops, Crushed Potatoes. The brussels sprouts were quite possibly the best I’ve ever had…and when on any menu, I order. Cooked to perfection with a chili honey glaze spread over goat cheese. The crushed potatoes were delicious but as the only basic item ordered, got lost in the shuffle. We brought most of the potatoes home as leftovers and created a breakfast dish the next day that was phenomenal. As far as the main courses, we haven’t stopped talking about them. The Pan Seared Sea Scallops dish was incredible and the thoughtfulness of the plating and pairings with corn puree, risotto, bacon and blackberry reduction made it memorable. The surprise of the night came with the Asian Grilled Lamb Chops. No words can do this justice and I thank the waitress for introducing this as a popular selection. Soy glazed with stir fried veggies and a cilantro mint sauce. 3 lamb chop lollipops, which can’t be an easy item to properly cook, were handled by the chef with perfection. I’ve ordered this dish from a few high-end restaurants and have never left a review or raved to friends about the experience.
We’ve been fortunate to dine at some great restaurants and we both agree, this is now a favorite. Do yourself a favor and take in the views of the city, enjoy a cocktail and trust the Chef and his team to handle the rest.
Great experience- everything we were looking for in the menu and quiet enough to catch up with friends.
Everything was delightful the food was outstanding and it was just a lovely evening over all
Lovely ambience. We wanted to try as we are not members. They hid an hourly service charge for dining there. $52! With that being said, our bill was over $400 before a tip! At that price, the cost was not worth the great ambience and good food.
They definitely cater to members. The food was terrible for the price. The service was acceptable and too was the ambiance, however we did not get to enjoy a window seat because we weren't members. Go at your own risk if you dont have a membership.
